Music not show:Android system is very slow to update its music database, so it takes time if you just download your music. You can use "Scan" menu of "Ringtone Maker" to force update, then you'll see these music. Google Play Music can't be display, as Google Play Music hidden its music in special way. Other app can't access it.

Turns out, I like this app better than trying to get decent ringtones from other ringtone apps (total meh). I really like the selection of audio this app includes for our use and editing. Very nice. Also, if I can't seem to download a ringtone from one of those other apps, they've actually appeared where this app can find them and then assign them to a contact. It's often the only way.
A must have app with every new Android phone. Also one of endless reasons you'll never seen me on IPhone again lol
I tried using a Play Store recommended mp3 cutter and it had a minimum size requirement, a subscription for most features, and it didn't even make them into the correct file type for notifications. I'm so glad I found this app. Just pick the section you want or don't want and save it. Change the name, and file type (ringtone, music, notification) you can set the ringtone/notification from the app. And the list is easy to use, notifications and ringtones are highlighted differently from .mp3.
I love it!!!! Does exactly what I need it to do, record, clip, and actually use, also have the added benefit of choosing how to save and has a great library layout that, yes, seems a bit tacky, but it totally a blast from the past activating my nostalgia drive. Also if you try and record something for more than 39'seconds, you a special kind of stupid, Ringing for phone calls only lasts 30'seconds so it won't work well for an alarm tone if you want it to read you a book to get you going ya know.
Love this app. Easy to use. The layout & all the options make for a professional & user-friendly experience. I've had this app for so many years I can't even remember when I initially downloaded it. It is the only app that I've used for creating ringtones, alarms, and notifications & will continue to be the only one I use. This app has traveled with me through multiple phones/upgrades, and it will continue to do so as long as they keep it up and continue to update it. Highly recommended!
I've been using this app for about 9 years now in several different phones and its just perfect to create, edit and personalize your ringtone to whatever you want... seriously, anything at all! Then you can save it as default ringtone, notification sound, ringtone for a specific contact, etc. I dont have any plans of using a different app. Awesome job guys!
The app does what it says. It takes whatever song you have downloaded to your device and allows you to crop it and make turn it into a ring tone. I took off one star because when trying to increase the volume of your chosen ringtone the increase in volume is not that noticeable and it comes at the price of losing fidelity. So, when choosing to make a song into a ringtone you need to make sure that the song sounds loud to begin with.
So far, so good. I just downloaded this for Android and made one ringtone. It works with songs that you have dowloaded or saved on your phone. It finds the songs and lists them. You choose a song and "Edit" it to make a ringtone, then Save it. I had no songs saved on my phone, but installed an app to download songs from the internet (the YouTube Premium "downloads" don't work). The song then appeared in Ringtone Maker and was easily turned into a ringtone.
LOVE THIS APP!!! I really appreciate being able to apply tailor made ringtones and notifications based on friends' and family's favourite songs. I know exactly who's calling or texting me and it brings a lot a peace of mind. During one Samsung update I lost all my personalized notifications and wasn't able to use them for months! I hadn't realized until then just how much I'd come to rely on that level of customizing and I missed it like crazy! I highly recommend this app! ☆☆☆☆☆
This app is so easy to use its ridiculous. I thought I would have to save and browse a bunch of folders but you can make, edit and let the app set your ringtones, notifications, contact ringtones and alarms for you. Would you believe I recorded my audio from a streaming site right on my phone in the background? This app captured it beautifully. Thanks developers for making this app super easy to use. You're all so talented.
Ads are surprisingly infrequent, and not that intrusive as a whole. This app has a few technical issues which I would address, but nothing which affects its ease-of-use in a notable fashion, or otherwise makes it unsuitable for its primary purposes. As far as those purposes are concerned, this is by far the best app which I've used thus far.
I've been using this app for a few years I've never had problems and definitely trust it. I recently downloaded it and found it has new features making it even better I would recommend. *Edit: The more I play with it I see it has great potential but it's really missing an additional menu while editing the song with special options. There's not much of a users manual on here
Very well made app! Sound file editing is easy to use and able to be very precise down to a hundreth of a second if need be, which is better than most mobile programs. As such, this app doubles as both ringtone editor and sound file editor. Once again very nice and would be worth it even if it cost money. Also very user friendly.
Very NICE work ladies and gents! I've had this app for several years now, PLEASE, PLEASE, don't upgrade to the point I can't comprehend it anymore. So for newbies no real problems, just look over your options(pop-ups will help you)and you've got your song/ringtone just the way you want it! Thanks again!!! Man, it took some searching to find this! I could not care less about ringtones and music files. What I DO care about is being able to have 'spoken word' notifications. This app lets me record a snippet of voice on my phone, trim that snippet (very intuitive interaction to do that!), and 'publish' that snippet to either my phone's ringtone folder or to my phones notification-tones folder.
This app is actually super amazing! Making ringtones is so easy with this app! I just record whatever tone I want from YouTube and bam it's now a ringtone on my phone! If you want to set it as a specific contact you must first set it as the default ringtone or notification. Then you can access it when you make it contact specific and then you can change your default tone back to whatever it was!! I love this app so much!!! Thanks guys!!
I don't see any folders for saved ringtones, doesn't appear on the options menu. Also, when selecting a song in an album folder, nothing happens. Only way I could make a ringtone was to type name of the song, and then edit it. After that, can't get to saved ringtone because no saved folders option is in the menu.
Works great. I've been using this app for years to make my own ringtones and notifications. I like being able to fade in and out of the cuts I make. I do wish there was a few more things to customize the cuts though like filters or layering cuts together. Amazing app I 100% recommend downloading if you want to make your own ringtones/alarms/notifications.
Not Functioning - Cannot drag the sliders. The only editing function that works is the +/- keys. If I accidentally tap something else I have to start over. And then I get an error when trying to save. "Length=64; index=64". Upon error, it kicks me out of edit mode. FAQ's don't address any of this. I have tried uninstall/reinstall with no luck. I will revise my rating if I ever get it functioning.
I think it's on off the best I've used. you can copy and paste and repeat whatever section of the song you want as many times that you want it to repeat, and really make it your own ring tone, or notification, and assign them to default or a particular contact straight from the app. It's nice, and easy to use.
My POV: I open the app hoping to find a way to convert my audio from tiktok to use for a ringtone. The first thing I see are my mp3 lists of audio. I start to laugh. I look around the controls hoping to find a way to add a new one but not to my surprise there's nothing there. THATS my experience. I can't add anything new. If you go into your clock or time or alarm app, you'll see custome alarm buttons that you can use to put any of your mp3's as a ringtone. Just use the app. This one is a waste.
Been using this for years and it is the best app. It even has a fade in and out option. You can create your ringtones, alarms, and notifications with perfection to the millisecond. You create them using audio files saved to your phone. If you're good at using this app, you can make everything sound completely professional.
Your app seems to close every time I try to assign the ringtone. The editing works well and I can assign it from this point. Once I save it I can't assign it to a contact. I am a member of a search and rescue team so having a distinct ringtone would be a great advantage. How am I supposed to assign the ringtone to calls and texts once I have saved it. Once again the editing and importing songs was very easy. If I could just use the clips easily this would be a brilliant app.
it's far better than any other apps ! easy to use too I loved it . I am born for songs if u say like that too it's ok! coz I love songs that much . so for making their ringtome and cutting the beat which we love the most is better so suggestion is to download it .....
