Worked great to make a ringtone yesterday! Unfortunately, it ALSO is great at making intrusive, full screen pop up ads even when you're not in the app, with no indication that it's this app doing it. The first time it happened, I thought I clicked something in an app, but it's happened six times now. Even if this isn't harmful to my phone, it's annoying, and it's shady as hell to do it without explicitly informing me (I don't count the info that shows when you allow permissions!) will do this!
I originally gave this 5 stars and a great review. This gave me pop up adds. I dont mean when the app was open (that would be fine), but I randomly got pop up adds on my phone itself and had to go through an extensive process to remove them. I have also had other problems with my phone since then, but I'll give the benefit od the doubt and assume they are unrelated. Oh and it didn't actually work? All the ringtones just defaulted to my old one when the assigned contacts called. Sorry.
This app is very easy and quick to use. You start by downloading your song. Then open this app and load said song. You can then cut the song and play samples of your cut song to fine tune it to what you want. When you have done that you can save it and from inside this app, set it as a ringtone for a contact or a default ringtone for every one. Quick and simple.
Made about 5 ringtones and notifications so far and it's actually been really good! I like that you can choose between a simple quick cut and a more advanced cut to get the timing perfect. Looked around for a while and am very happy with this so far 👍 haven't had to deal with stupid overpowering ads etc, what a concept lol and it's free. I'm a happy camper. Recommend.
Another vote against the ads that interrupt other apps etc on the phone. Ads within the app UI are one thing, but you interrupted a YouTube video I was watching. That is not cool at all. Bad developer. Bad! 2 stars instead of 1 because it served the purpose otherwise probably or definitely. But ads outside the app UI are a big no no. Then I switch to the app and I get a notice telling me to do the paid version or w/e to help out and get rid of ads. Confine your ads inside the app! Uninstalled.
The app works as described. Not super intuitive, but once you figure it out, it's pretty straight forward and easy to use. The Major issue is that the ads will show up from this app on your home screen and over other apps. Makes using your phone infuriating. I'd give zero stars, but it does do the job.
DON'T TOUCH unless you want ads popping up while you text on what's app, playing a game or looking through your calendar. Unbelievable deluge of ads popping up everywhere at any time!!!!!! The actual app of editing songs for ring tones isn't terrible but it more complicated then it needs to be. Biggest regret of any app I've ever downloaded.
Great app, works better than expected. I'd definitely recomend it. 5/5 EDIT: The app is highly intrusive and has on several accounts tried to force popups onto my screen while the app isnt even running. I have blocked notifications but it still manages to send me half a second of popups before disappearing(the popups count as notifications). 1/5
Regardless of what the app itself is worth I did really not appreciate losing time in hunting down this app as all of a sudden UNSOLLICITED and invasive pop-ups started annoying me full screen -- at random while using my phone. By allowing this andenabling this alone, you lose all credit and trust in my book. Regardless of how good your app may be...
The app seemed to work OK, but it started showing Pop up ads when NOT using app. Poor form developer. I understand you need to support a free app, but taking over my phone with ads when I'm not using the app is unacceptable. Had to use a log/event viewer to find out which app was popping up the ads. Uninstalling and reported to Google.
Pretty sweet. Letting me fully configure what part of a song I want to set as an alarm or ringtone is all I needed. Samsung's default Sound Picker only let me choose a "highlighted" part of song which it chose itself which wasn't even my favourite part of a song so this app here is actually a God send. Awesome!
I did like it for about 10 seconds but when I turned my phone back on it went strait to an ad. I mean I wasn't even in the app. I know it was this app because I saw it in my previous apps that were open. Even when I exited he app completely it reopened itself and showed ads again. Don't get this app unless you want ads you can't exit out of. I will not be reinstalling this app until this problem is fixed.
Your app keeps popping up ads when it's not even open. Fix it or I leave it 1 star. last app that did this I deleted, but I think I can mess around in my setting to not allow you to be slimey like that. You're scum for doing this. Until I see a bug fix update STATING that THIS PARTICULAR "bug" is fixed, I won't remove this review.
This app will overlay adverts on your phone, watching a youtube video, taking a photo or messaging friends. Very disruptive. I never agreed to this as the app has been dormant on my phone for around half a year. If you try to open which app the spam pop up is from it tries to hide the app!?!? Quite deceptive even when caught.
App worked like it should. Everything was cool until I started playing a game on my phone and random ads started popping up during the game. Then while watching some videos, then while talking on my phone, then everytime I unlock my phone. I understand ad supported apps but this is way beyond that
DO NOT INSTALL!!!!! In the beginning I was really excited. After a while I started having black screens with ads randomly appearing while I was doing anything on my phone! (Not using the app!!!) Uninstalling immediately, such a shame.
Love this. All my tones are custom and made from this app. You can "zoom in" and cut/paste even less than a second of audio, which is great for notifications sounds. Very detailed and intuitive to use. Good job whoever created this app.
Im sometimes electronically challenged but app is so user friendly that even i can use it with no problem! Pulls up my songs everytime and saves the ringtones that I've cut in both the app as well as in my song playlist! I will continue to use this app forever if possible!!
It's one thing to have ads in an app that I'm currently using. It's to expected when using a free version but I can't tolerate an add every time I unlock my phone. I like the functionality of this app but it's getting uninstalled.
The best Mp3 cutter out their for Android. I don't know about Apple but what I know is that this is the best Mp3 cutter for ringtones, notifications, and alarms. It gives you a simple option to cut it or a more specific option. I would rate this a 5 star bc I love this app.

Awesome work 😁✌️, i have made 4 tones in like 5 minutes, for my ringtone, alarm and my notification tones for my regular messenger and facebook messenger, and they work beautifully, no issues, very easy to work with, and i love the zooming in feature, you can really set the accuracy of the sound of where you wanna truly stop, thank you for this app, i recommend to use this app to make custom sounds,once again thank you
It took me 3 factory resets, 1 format & a lot of hard time to understand that it was the sole reason behind pop up ads. Pop ups interupting over every running app, youtube video, netflix, google maps (while navigating). JUST DO NOT INSTALL THIS EVER
Great interface and operation. Only things I didn't like are that I can't seem to find the rename function for renaming the ringtones, it's difficult to tell where the undo button is, when I move the start indicator forward to play a shorter selection of a song (like just the last two seconds), it's hard to get it back to the beginning, and the remove ads function doesn't work. Otherwise I'd buy this immediately.
