Explanation for the permissions:android.permission.READ_CONTACTSandroid.permission.WRITE_CONTACTSAfter you create the ringtone, there is a choice to assign it to your contact. This app does exactly what it says that it does and it does it well. Easy to use to make your own ringtones and to save them and make your tones the default sounds. I keep my music on the SD card and this app has no problem seeing the music, working with it, and then placing it in the ringtones folder
Needs an update to fix some bugs. It's been awhile, which usually means this app could be abandoned. Need to add Genre as a sort option and have it be part of the info when clicking on "Music Info".
the pro version isn't as good as the free version. the ui is completely different, the copy paste trim are absent from easy select tool box at bottom of page, the time metre is different & it has a dark ui which can't be changed to the light ui. I'm very annoyed. the free version is excellent why can't the pro be exactly the same as free version but without ads?
Perfect ringtone maker app. Edit current sounds, add new ones, it saves then in exactly the right spot so they pop up on your sounds lists. I've been using it for YEARS. It's never let me down and I've never had any reason to switch apps.
This is a great ringtone maker. It's easy to use, and it allows me to make ringtones from my favorite music files. It's editing capability couldn't be easier to use. It then presents options for where to assign the ringtone, making that simple also. I highly recommend Ringtone Maker.
I purchased the pro version to get rid of the ad expecting that there would be a material or dark theme, only to find that there was not. in addition as I try to select on certain options it takes me to a variation of another app.
I have used and loved the free version (5-STARS) for years but it stopped working recently when my phone upgraded to Android 11. So I upgraded to the Pro version as I saw that it said it is compatible with Android 11... unfortunately, it is still not working.
Fantastic app for ringtones. Buy the Pro version. I love the ability to choose a snippit of any song you own and create a ringtone. This app is so easy to use. Kudos to the developer!
works great right off the bat. I was actually using another ringtone maker that worked just fine. But this one has some features that the kthers dont like fade in and fade out. Definitely worth the purchase.
I love the ability to make ring tones and notifications from a variety of music. I wish with the share function a text could be attached.

While it's a good tool for making ringtones etc every update is mostly concerned with improving the constant bombardment of advertising you have to deal with.

Garbage! When you scan for downloaded music it's just a bkank screen. Why bother paying to remove ads when the app is useless! Yes i checked all permissions and the music was downloaded to my phone, not streamed.

I would give it 5 stars except that every time I save a ringtone it adds seconds to the beginning and takes upwards of 5 seconds from the end, making the ringtone sound very sloppy.

Very useful app to make ringtones on the fly. No plugins needed. Just find your favorite song and create the tone of your choice.
Its a good app but in browse section there shows only internal storage no sd card data. But in free version shows both. Then why one should go for pro..... just upset. I wiil give 5 star after update....
Copy or cut and paste to join two different tones doesn't work. Just trim. Theres no help on how to use the paste function to join two tone bits.
Can't browse for files on sd card. Fairly basic capability missing. Workarounds work, but that doesn't make the app better.

I've been using Ringtone Maker Pro for as long as I can remember. It has everything you need. I've never needed any other app for my ringtones.
Customisation made easy. I love tuning my favorite songs and sounds into ring tones, and for years this app has given all the tools I could ask for to get the exact sound I want. Some of my favorite features are : 100th out a second time adjustment, volume adjustments that are independent of my phones volume, the ability to sample and loop, simple interface that is not confusing! I couldn't be happier
