Ringtone Remover

This app removed all of my pent-up frustration. It worked exactly as it said and was easy. I tried other apps and they were terrible and too complicated or did not work at all for what I was trying to do. AND it was free. Thank you to the programmer who made it. MH

This application does not do what it says, it does remove the tones that you do not want, but when you reboot your phone the ringtones it removed all comes back. Fix that problem lest us know that you have corrected it then we can redownload it. As of now it is worthless. Don't bother to down load it folks, it does work not work

Like everybody, I cannot believe android does not have a way to remove the ring tones off their own system! This is the easiest way I have found to do it. Small app they can be used quickly without instructions because its intuitive and simple. Thank you

It also deletes the ringtone file which means if you have set an mp3 music file as a ringtone your music file will be deleted. I just want to remove the link that points to the file so that it clears from the ringtone list, not my files. You don't need an app to simply delete your music files.

I'm sorry but I need to make a correction turns out it didn't really take away those unwanted ringtones after I thought they were deleted and I went ahead and uninstall the program, the ringtones came right back. :( I've done this twice already what's going on here?? Seems the only way to permanently get rid of unwanted tones is to factory reset my phone and I really don't want to do that.

Got rid of packaged sounds I'll never use, but would like to be able to move sounds between use category.

It found all my ringtones, text tones, and alarm tones. It can delete them or set them as the default. It can even play them. Works smooth and easy to use

Every time I got to delete the tones and my phone shuts off then they are right back on again. If someone can help I'd give a much better rating

Didn't work the way I wanted it to. The app would bounce up and down and I was unable to close it.

Too bad you need root acces. This app will only delete them from the list until you reboot. This app will delete ringtones you copy to the SD memory.

This is a quick and easy app to use! This app helped me delete not only ringtones but sounds associated with alarms and notifications. I also rebooted my droid RAZR m phone and the sounds are still deleted:) I recommend downloading this app and see if it works for you. Thank you Kastor Soft!

After searching my phone settings for an hour trying to delete an unwanted ringtone, I tried this app. Worked great & was easy.

I accidentally set an annoying default alarm from an app I hate and nothing would get it off! My phone doesn't even give me the option of deleting it from my sd card. I would have been stuck with it permanently if not for this app. Thank you!

It has been driving me nuts I deleted every possible file and still the broken ringtones wouldn't go away. And now all the annoying ones are gone too.

I was so tired of having to sift through the dozens and dozens of stock ringtones, alarms, and notification sounds to select the ones that I wanted. This app finally lets me have a nice succinct list of ringtones, etc.

I wanted something that remove the tone from the list, not something that delete the file. Don't need an app for that.

Says tones are deleted bit they are not & LG ringtones make me vomit with rage

This is a well-done app. I'd give a five star rating if you follow Google guidelines to design the icon and use Holo styles in the app.

Had a few corrupted ringtones I needed to delete and reinstall. Could not find them with a file explorer. Used this app and gone in seconds. Thanks

It deletes them until u turn your phone off then there right back. It never truly deletes them for good or saves you space

I'm a music artist. I accidentally added a song of mine from the Voice Recorder app to my ringtones and thought this would fix it. It deleted my original file completely! Absolutely terrible. Thanks a lot. I dislike negativity, but this is just honesty. Don't make the mistake I did.

It does not remove ringtones only on the app it does not on the phone itself. Ringtones are still there. This get a big 0. No stars.

The ringtone remover doesnt work. It does not remover the ringtones off of the phone. It just removes the ringtone from the app when it lists them on the app. NOT OFF THE PHONE!!!

This is the best app PERIOD.... I thought i would never get rid of my old ringtones but i was wrong

I don't know how this hides those unwanted ringtones but it does! The files are still in system media audio ringtones but they don't show on the selection box.

The app removes unwanted ringtones from my phone but when shutting the phone off and restarting the phone, the deleted ringtones that I indicated I wanted removed are right back where they were. Useless app unless they fix that problem.

Was glad to get some duplicates & other unwanted tones. Very easy to use.

If you have a bunch of Bull$hit ringtones that you need to get rid of ...this will do the trick . The stock alarm ringtones were almost impossible to get rid of .. faith in mankind restored
