Clean interface free of clutter. Most screen elements can be pressed to activate and pressed+held to undo.
Example: tapping the score increments it and pressing and holding subtracts a touch.
Has many different type of bouts: 5, 10, 15, team, best 2 of 3, 15 touch sabre as well as custom length.
Most features can be turned on/off in settings to customize to your liking.
These can all be turned on or off in the settings:
Automatic 1 minute rest between periods.Beep and vibrate to confirm events.Pause bout on score.Display fencer's names.Increment opponents score on a red card.Display score +/
- buttons if you'd prefer that over the press/hold method.

It's a good app. It worked better on G Galaxy S3. Now on my S7 the vibrate functions don't work.
What more could you want? And it's free, without ads or sketchy permissions. Very nice!
The only thing i would change is the ability to set bout type at start up. I dont have trouble remembering scores in pools so mostly use it for 15 point bouts

I searched all the Android refereeing apps and tried them all, and this one is the best. I find it most helpful that it vibrates on starting and stopping the timer, that is extremely helpful. Along with that, the start/stop button is large and hard to miss even when you're not looking at your phone. The automatic one minute break for DEs is super handy as well. All around great app.
Seems to do exactly what is needed in refereeing poules and DE's. Only question I have is, can I actually put in the names of the fencers. If so, will I be able to see all the score sheets for the poule rounds?
This app does exactly what it says. Mikol is extreemly helpful if you email any issues. Bugs fixed in hours!
Developer really knows what you need as a president and this is great, and easy to use
One suggestion: add an option for a non-combativity overtime. Right now the overtimes end when a fencer scores, but the non combativity OT goes a full minute. Otherwise this is by far the best app available.
Arguably one of the best reffing apps I have used - however one small observation - the Start/Stop button could be a slightly different shape to keep it more away from the edges of the phone. It is easy in inadvertently start or stop the time when gripping the phone, especially when you are focussed on the action!
I have tried all fencing apps and this one have more function and options by far. If they added a video camera option for tablets Ripost would be unstopthrustsble!
Everything a ref needs. Excellent attention to detail.
I don't believe the rule book allows for a minute break between the final period of a DE and the overtime. The app currently puts a one minute break in there. Now, it's true that a good ref should just ignore the app and proceed to the overtime, but I can see this confusing the I inexperienced.
App was okay , think its too confusing needs to be simplified, resetting the time was too confusing, deleted app

Great app! Would love to be able to enter in custom bouts (eg 21,7, etc touches).

This has been one of the most useful apps developed for sporting events. Very reliable and with an excellent GUI.
