How confidently could you live if you knew someone always had your back? Our first-of-its-kind service is simple: our users have on demand access to the Ripple Team- a live, US-based monitoring team of safety experts, available to them anywhere in the United States, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year for only $10/month.

To complement our service, we developed a tiny wearable device that we will send you for free when you register. This Bluetooth device connects to the Ripple Support App and allows you to alert your Ripple Team that you need help in situations where physically accessing your cell phone simply isn’t possible.

In-app personal profile: Build out your personal profile with all of the information that you want your Ripple Team to know in case you have an emergency. This may include a picture, physical description, medical information and location. In the event you have an emergency and cannot verbally communicate this vital information to 9-1-1, the Ripple Team can relay it to them on your behalf.

Uncomfortable situations: If you ever feel uncomfortable and don’t know who to turn to, click your wearable device or smartphone app one time and the Ripple Team immediately calls your smartphone. They can safely walk you home, support you through a bad area of town, or even interrupt an awkward situation you just want to get out of.

Emergency situations: When you only have seconds to react, you can get all the help you need by rapidly pressing your wearable device three or more times, or using the Ripple app to communicate your need for help. The Ripple Team can then dispatch emergency services to your location, while relaying all the information they need from your personal profile, it’s that easy. They can immediately send help without you having to answer the phone or say a single word.

When restarting your phone, please test your button at least once.

Here are the steps on how to test your button:
1) Open Ripple Safety App.
2) Enable “Test mode”.
3) Click your button to send a test alert.
4) You will receive the following message: "Test alert received. Ripple button is connected."

You may now turn off the test mode and exit the Ripple Safety app!

Great idea, poor execution. Issue 1: I don't have confidence that the button will always work -- sometimes the app closes inexplicably and then the button doesnt work. Issue 2: the app isn't adequately accessible, as the disarm button isn't visible or usable if the font size on the phone is set to large. I really wish this is something my family could trust and use -- but it isn't.

YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON YOU READING THIs REVIEW...Good idea and POOR EXECUTION from a start-up company and it could have had dire consequences. I used this as a panic/medical alert device. It is very lightweight and the app was easy to use WHEN IT WORKED. You are probably looking at this product because you want an immediate response to a dangerous or life-threatening situation. I had this device for 2 weeks. At first, I was amazed at how quickly the call center responded. However, during the 2nd week, there were numerous times that either the button or the app simply did not notify the call center. It's pretty simple, you have ONE shot, either it works or it doesn't. Fortunately for me, I was not injured or in need of help when the device did not work at all. Now imagine you are walking to your car and start to feel uncomfortable or suddenly you start having chest pain and you push the button and NOTHING happens! I can't and you simply should not trust that this will work when you need it to. In addition, I tried calling customer service 4 different times over a 2 day period and they never returned my call. More info...I asked the monitoring center what type of training they had and the person said not much "you sort of fly by the seat of your pants". So the "sales" team can tell you anything they want, it's just not reliable and that's the only thing they are selling. I know it seems too good to be true and I fell for it too but please do NOT trust your life to this company. I am being 100% factual and any response by the company will simply be spin, don't fall for it.

runs continuously in backgroud wasting battery....no way to log out or turn it off to save battery life. may have to uninstall until i actually want to use it.
