RISER - Motorcycle App

Like the app, but I could not sign into it any longer. Shows test, but will not let me enter username and password. Keep getting that my email address is already in the system. Needed to uninstall the application, then reinstall - that resolved the issue. Thank you support for quick reply.

Great app, I really like the inlay and the playback. Only issue is the battery drain is too much. In 20 min I lost 40% of my battery. I'll stick to my alternate app for now.

The app is pretty good, but the lack of a direct support channel really let's it down. I have feedback that could really go towards improving the app, like... the navigation feature map seems linked to the system theme. If its set to dark on system (Android 11), the map is black... completely useless on the road. Another issue is that navigation audio seems non existent, compromising the experience of the ride by having to look down. These are simple things that I imagine could be sorted easily.

Bought the pro version and am overall disappointed. The super curvy routes are nice, but the volume of notifications is so quiet I can't hear them at any speeds over 30 kph, and with music on not at all. The guidance is not often enough, and either too far away, eg in 6km take a left or it mostly comes when I've just passed the exit. When I have the phone in my pocket therefore without display this makes the app unusable. A good idea that could easily be improved to make it great.

Good idea but the app itself is a deception. - Battery drained in 20min. - The curvy road feature is not great. - No speed traps or lights cameras. - No speed limit shown on the screen. - No real speed on the screen. - The information sound can be muted or on. And it's a talkative one :). Couldn't enjoy my music. Still, just tried the free version.

only used free version. not tempted to buy this expensive app. kept giving me search results for the states (16000km away). can't plan a route dispite the function appearing on the app. very interesting concept though. I keep trying to enter a destination but I just keep getting round trips. like I'm all for a drive but I would like coffee somewhere. lastly stop marketing to motorcycles, car guys go for drives as well. I really hope you guys are able to iron all these problems out.

I'm a long user of CaliMoto but like the community aspect of this. The only issue is that it's still relatively unknown so not many friends or people nearby use it. Also, while I appreciate there's a free version, paying £55 per year for pro when it's still in its infancy with a low user base is just way too high. Maybe £55 for lifetime pro, but not every year - thats crazy

Problem 1, I does not know the difference between "Twisty" and "housing estate". So what could be an interesting ride becomes an urban commute. Problem 2, Doesnt recognise post codes. Well than throws you navigation sideways. Problem 3 Does not know the difference between a curve and a turning, so it keeps telling you "slight left to follow (the road you were already on). Far too many directions far too late and far too wrong.⁸ Nice try but too basic to be of use.

Honestly this app is really well built. Its perfect for riders who just want to ride with their friends. In my experience the gps integration is very basic in my country (South Africa)and cant take you to a specific place like a land mark but will take you to that street if its a well known street and leave you to find the place you want to get to. Due to that bug i would not get the pro version because google maps is more accurate and it's free. This app is great and i believe its revolutionary

Concept is good. My only wish would be Android Auto support or at least more focus on navigation readability. As it is today, routing instructions are a little hard to follow, making everything bigger, knowing someone is mounting the phone on a shaky bike would be a good start. That or ability to export route to a better navigation app like Waze.

I like the app, but rewind is glitchy and I don't need all of the clutter on rewind. Can we have more options for pro?

On my OnePlus 6t, it won't let me enter a destination. When I tap the destination entry field, or the "hamburger" menu button on the right side of the destination field, it immediately starts routing me to my current GPS position, offering circular routes. I'd love to get this resolved and will update my rating accordingly. Cheers!

Great maps and awesome challenges make this app fun to use.

Too many notifications, they need to add a remove notification button

Unfortunately rewind is not in basic membership. I could live withouth that but can not live with automatic pause. It destroy the record of my trip. Even when I press resume button it last 20 km before it starts again. Why you bother with my battery settings. It is annoying. Even when changed battery settings and approved automatic apps it give me warnings. Pitty.

Major bug: As you create a trip and turn your phone 90° and back, everthing is gone. Was giving 3 stars first. But switched to one as to plan a tour is impossible. You enter the waypoints but there is no option to save this route. I regret paying for the pro. How am i supposed to plan a tour for tomorrow? A lot of bugs. An Motorcycle where u can only safe already driven routes. The live-tracking link opens the browser and not the app? What is this?

I love the app if there is a destination that I want to go to ,but don't have any particular roads I wanna ride getting there. If there is certain roads I want to ride there is no way to plan a route by setting way points on the map and that's why I give it 3 stars

Similar to Calimoto and other apps that try to plot good twisty roads for us riders. What is missing from these apps is consideration for local traffic congestion and traffic lights, which can make the curvy routes less useful. Better to incorporate good group chat functionality to allow rider-to-rider intercom communications amongst your riding group.
