GETTING STARTED
To use the River Valley Bank App, you must be enrolled as a River Valley Bank online banking user. If you currently use our online banking, simply download the app, launch it, and log in with the same online banking username and password. After you successfully log in to the app, your accounts and transactions will begin updating.

Very slow at recognizing your check or what you have written. You got to try at least three or four times before it will work
Customer service is awesome.
This app is fine as long as you don't want to deposit checks via mobile device. I have tried multiple check types and it keeps saying "need to write for mobile only on back" and I have quite large and boldly. It's rather frustrating to have to get to a bank while they're open to deposit my checks.
Deposit 2 checks. Requires 4 attempts to get past notification that "Mobile Deposit Only " is required in the endorsement on check 1, needed 7 attempts on check 2. If I do it twice, just Deposit and place a hold until it's manually reviewed. Don't waste my time over and over again on your lousy app!
Great layout, easy to get a solid overview of all my accounts and activity. Simple to make transactions and transfers. Also, great service.
Hard to use. Look at your competitions apps
Cant mobile deposit. Always get message saying add "for mobile deposit only" even though it is written on the check. Tried many times. Thought this would be fixed with new app. Nope. So how do i easily deposit into this online account if you wont let me.
This app is very annoying. Everytime I open it if it does load it take minutes but most of the time won't even load up my information. Very annoying
So many features. You are able to turn your card on and off if you misplace it. Also balance alerts and multiple notification options.
They close personal accounts for using your debit card to gamble online! Weird very legal. Also they take your money and send all your checks back unpaid! Still haven't gotten my money going on 3 weeks! They charged me $94 for using my card online and at stores for 1 month. Plus $5 to close my account times 2? What!!!!! This bank is a scam and I'm reporting them to the authorities. Good luck
Would love to be able to check what payments are scheduled and how much. Used to. Now it just wants you to make a payment. Disappointing!

After the last update the app is real slow and it is messing with my phone dont know if my info is secure anymore

Depositing checks is very difficult. Software unable to read checks properly.
Often doesnt update and the mobile check deposit photo capture is terrible.

Very easy to use, convenient. The support center portion would be so much better if it had its own integrated support system that could handle minor changes to your account. I.e. Change of address, phone number, all it would necessarily need is a way to avoid personal interaction Some personnel have difficulty with personal interaction.
