I thought I wouldn't need a membership to use this app. It won't let me do anything except to to social media pages.
Useless. Crashes all the time.
This app is beyond useless. It cannot even look up or register existing account information, therefore making it useless. The accouny lookup process does not work, even when you put all the required information. Seems like access to some database doesn't work. Until the zoo IT team fixes this basic problem, don't waste your time with this app.
This app provides basic links and lists of zoo event details all in one spot, but it really could be so much more. It hasn't been updated in over 1.5 years, but it still has active links to events at the zoo, connected to the website itself, so that calendar feed is active and accurate. Wish it could be more detailed, interactive...
Downloaded the app just for the digital membership card. At some point that function stopped working and the whole app just crashes whenever you try. This happened on both my and my husband's phone.
I am unable to access my membership card, which was my primary reason for the installing the app. Reading reviews, it sounds like other users have had the same difficulty.
Only so-so. Still cannot get my current membership into the app, it shows only the two previous years membership. Staff gave me the verification code, but its still not working.
App will not let me link my membership. Says not enough data to recover membership. Name, #, email. Still cant sync.
Installed after reading I can use it as a contactless membership card. Crashes, completley unusable.
Can't load my card. Entered all my info (correctly) and it says not enough info to look up my account.
Horrible and useless for member services. Will not lookup or access membership. Uninstalling immediately.
Last attempt at using this app. Uninstalled immediately. No useful information or features. Jeez guys...step into the 21st century
Not very useful. Map is very poor quality.
Trying to download it now
I suppose they dont read these comments because the same issues persists years later
As others have said... Membership lookup doesn't work.
I love the app, but the map and the membership search don't work on Android. I think the other parts are great.
Great idea, but membership lookup doesn't work. Tells me I haven't provided enough information after I complete all the available fields.
Nice try, but...the map is a static picture and bad resolution. The information should be interactive. Try GPS. The Giraffe feeding, a highlight of every visit, isn't even listed and closes by 1:30. The zoo is great and deserves a better app.
This is a wonderful idea but should have been finished before it was published. Can't wait to see the final copy
Better off going online and getting information from website. The app doesn’t run long enough without crashing.
I got past the part that was stopping other people. Then it wanted a "code", which by the way you get from zoo personnel only. They couldn't get it to work either after putting in the code numerous times. I deleted the app. and re-added and now I get what others have been getting... Not enough information, blah blah blah. Uninstalling.
Overall, this is a great app. It covers everything available at the zoo which is not an easy task! Unfortunately, I can't log in, despite providing all the requested info (and triple checking the correctness of that info). If the membership component worked, I would have no complaint.
Still a live beta; here's how to register ... First off, stop using your card #. That's not your member #. Of course, you won't know your member #, unless you call Riverbanks Zoo, since it is internal. The other missing part is that you'll need a confirmation code, which is also generated internally. You literally cannot enroll the app without talking to Riverbanks staff. Go figure. Bottom line: call Riverbanks Member Services, and they'll get you through the process. We did it with them last night when at the Zoo. Is this awkward and inconvenient? Of course it is. Riverbanks outsourced the app to a third party who has done apps for other zoos in the country, and this is sort of a live beta test. They hope to make it much more convenient down the road. But in the meantime, once you get past the one-time registration process, the app is functional. It will be fully functional, in my view, when it can do everything (and more) that the main web site can do.
I typed in my member number, last name and email as required to link my membership card and it stated not enough information provided. I provided required information.
I like the info thats available but I'm having the same problem with it saying not enough information. If this was fixed it would be a great app.
I love the zoo. My granddaughter and I are there all the time. She learns a lot in the different classes they offer about the animals. And she always has to get in a pony ride!
After inputting my member number, last name and email, it says not enough info... Can y'all please fix this? It would be a great app if you could access your member info like it claims...
It won't let you access your membership card or details, just keeps giving error messages. Would be a decent app otherwise!
Had to get my membership card activated by staff (they give you the verification code at the office), but that works well. Now, however, I cannot access anything in the app but my membership card, map and other info not showing.
