Hands down the best River Level App out there. I've tried them all and this one is the best. I live on a river so after a hard rain I keep tabs on the level. This is the most detailed and easiest to use out of all of them. The ability to get alerts when the water reaches a certain level if I'm out of town is also a HUGE bonus!
I've used a few guage apps and this one was the final one i dl and have had it a year. I love the favorites list. I am always in the water for diving or river snorkeling for fossils so having this info so easily accessible without having to pull up the WMD sitea os a god save!
Loved this app but in last few months it started crashing every time i go to the the map or try to set a notification. I hope a new update will fix this. My thanks to the author for developing this app.
when it works it can be very useful. its always crashing, never wants to load any data and you constantly have to reboot the app to make it work.
Was a great app until this past fall. Now app crashes and closes when trying to open the Map or Notifications tabs. Info and Graph tabs seem to work ok. Android 10 phone.
Used to be my favorite. Doesn't show weather forecast anymore. That was helpful to see along side the flow. Now it crashes everytime I use the map feature to see where the gauge is...
The only good thing is no ads. The forecasts don't work, ever for locations where the AHPS2 website has forecasts. The scale labels on the graphs of observed levels are pretty much unintelligible.
Anymore the app just crashes. Used to be a really good app with a good interface. Really enjoyed it when it worked.
Worked great before now some of the info doesn't show and when close when trying to look at level. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!
Used to be my favorite it hasn't been working for a little now. Wish whatever changed would change back because I liked being notified when the creek was @ flood level
Crashes constantly, especially when trying to view the map.
It doesnt update when I need it to. It updated at midnight but not showing that day. I cant see right now only the hours before.
Responds fast, have had no problems with it. Good way to track river levels.
Stopped working all of a sudden. My saved favorites are gone and cant search for anything.
I like everything about this except that the station readings dont have a refresh option.
Trash app doesn't work it just keeps crashing
Doesn't show anything but a map. No river levels
a little lack luster but works
Use it alot for river height and fishing
Vermont area here in South Carolina this thing is usually just about dead on!
wouldn't let me enter at all.
Doesn't work in arkansas
Nothing will come up.
This is the perfect easy to use river level app. I don't need to look any further for a river app. Notifications are a handy feature both low and high levels. Low level alerts are good for boat owners who may need to adjust storage to deal with river levels. High alerts good for us folks who live near the river and need to pay attention for safety/flooding reasons
Downloaded this app when HydroGauges stopped working. So far so good. The only thing I don't like so far is it doesn't give a vertical datum for the sensors, so unless you already know it, you don't know what elevation the water is at. Is this something that is possibly coming in the future?
This app is way better than hydro gauges. Has much more info and it's laid out for ease of use.
Was a great app but forecast gauge stopped working. Please fix.
Great app!! Takes USGS streamgage data and puts it into a simple format for smartphone. Love the easy search feature and mapped for each gauge. Best of all it's free. Thanks devs!
Great app. Data is easily presented and no freezing when loading graphs.
My life is affected by several large rivers and this app is a daily go-to when things start rising. My only request/complaint would be having the option to change the color of the plotting on the graph. The aqua is pretty, but it can be really hard to see in certain lighting. would gladly pay for this otherwise. great app!! thanks.
