This app suits my needs wonderfully. I find myself rarely, if ever, needing to go to the Rivermark site, as I can do everything from this. Note: this is the only banking app I've ever used. Pros: mobile deposit seems to get better and better at scanning the check, interface is pretty easy to navigate (even if it's not the prettiest app I've ever used), alert push notifications, plus more Cons: account history only seems to go back so far, searching transactions would be very helpful as well.

Updated my review from 2 to 5 stars. All the features work now. Nice job developers! Old: The app won't allow transfer nor bill pay. The features are visible but never functional. I have tried using these features on two different phones, both Android over the past 3 years. I reported the bug and thought it would eventually be fixed. Perhaps the app only works with IOS. One star because I can view my balance and another for successful mobile deposits.

Can no longer deposit checks. So sick of apps being "updated" to break basic functionality that worked fine before. Now camera either captures no image, or captures it and cuts off the routing numbers, then the app complains it can't find them. UPDATE: They've apparently released an update! Now it's no longer an issue that you can't deposit a check, because it always crashes at logon. Come on guys, QA isn't that hard.

In the beginning it was touch and go when it first came out. Yet I've used the Rivermark app for several years now and it feels safe and dependable now. Kicks you off when you forget to do it yourself, as it should. I've used many of their services including pop money and bill pay, credit cards and also have a business account. The app let's me know when my balance is low, or when I receive deposits or when I have a large withdrawl. I can transfer money between accounts easily. Glad I have it.

Every once in a while my endorsement is clear on the check but the app says "no endorsement", therefore, the app won't let me deposit. I have retaken the picture multiple times, all with a clear signature. It would be helpful to be able to put it up for manual review (like it does when the amount is unclear) since the computer isn't recognizing my signature.

So far, this Credit Union is pretty awesome! I wish I had known earlier, so I could have opened an account with them a long time ago. This app is pretty straight-forward and easy to use for most or all of your typical mobile banking needs. Probably my only ask would be for a simple way to transfer money to out-of-network friends or integration of PayPal or Zelle for that purpose.

Very responsive and is practically a bank in your pocket. As long as you don't need that check right now, you can deposit checks on the app and have your money within a couple days. It also lists your accounts and allows multiple transfers between checking and saving. Visually appealing, as well.

I typically pay my Visa card using this app, but unfortunately the money comes out of your account immediately rather than you being able to set the date that you want it to come out which you can do when you use a regular computer. They should add this to the app under the transfers option. Also I cannot see how many times I have used my Visa debit card on this app which is something I like to keep track of to see if I'm going to earn interest or not in any given month. Otherwise it's not bad.

I dont love the check deposit feature of this banking app. Its very picky and often wont accept my picture of a check the first time. It also requires holding the phone/camera very steady while it counts down to zero, and that the background is just right, and that it has captured all corners of the check. Compared to the BofA app, this one really sucks. Sorry

Too many ads continually block and disrupt app functionality. 1. Can't login because ad is blocking the screen, reload the app, can login now. 2. Login immediately, dismiss another ad, 3. mobile deposit, take picture of check, dismiss ad. Pretty miserable UX. I tried contacting them previously about the poor ad experience. They said they didn't know what I was talking about and dismissed the ticket/request. Somehow the thing they don't know about has gotten worse.

The user interface on this app just isn't good. Doing anything on this app concerning a loan requires jumping through too many hoops. Pay your loan? Unless you're paying with a Rivermark checking account get ready to navigate multiple tabs. Want to setup autopay on your car loan? Good luck. Just not a user friendly app.

App doesn't work well for certain options. I tried to use the 'refer a friend' option and I can enter all the info, but there is no option to proceed from there. It seems like I'm supposed to be able to scroll down to some sort of 'submit' button but the scrolling doesn't work and I can't refer anyone. Very disappointing

honestly I love this bank, and I love this app, but in the past few months the transfer button stopped working. and I can no longer send money from one account to another anymore, every once in awhile it works, but that's a blue moon, just wish this worked correctly and the app would be perfect.

Well done could use improvements such as easier interface to transfer in money. Yes, I understand the menu as it stands but when your smashed drunk attempting to pay for a taxi service. It is HARD, to find the 'fund account' button. This is all hypothetical. But same stands when you awake needing to transfer money to pay some bills. Thank you tho♡.

the app itself is real good. Not great but real good. Depositing a check by photo is a pain. There is slways a shadow or some miss fit to the picture. Other webdites take the pick as soon as everything is in focus snd range. No tapping to push the camera out of focus.

The Rivermark Mobile app is really great! It's quick and even easier to use now. I also love the in-person customer service at RiverMark Credit Union, when I've called for help with my account. I've been a very happy credit union member for years now. Definitely worth changing from any bank to a credit union with a great reputation like RiverMark.

Unable to use the mobile deposit feature. Tried to use the in app chat feature but got a message that it wasn't available at the time because it was outside of business hours which it wasn't. Called the support number but they seemed to be unaware of these issues and couldn't resolve them.

It's been nothing but great. I've been with Rivermark for 5-6 years. Maybe longer?. Banking has always been frustrating and annoying but with Rivermark it's been a breeze. It would be awesome if there were a couple more branches around town but with the mobile app I don't even have to stress. Highly recommend banking with Rivermark.

Nice to have mobile deposit and be able to move money around on the go for our credit union, but the app does get glitchy sometimes - have had times where it consistantly force-closes right after login for a couple of days, then it's fine for a while. Majority of the time it works perfectly well though.

When I try to view statement, app crashes.😡 Then says logged off due to inactivity.🤔 So far, NOT impressed at all. When I look through the reviews I don't see any responses from developer to anybody's issues. Guess they don't care.😡 Hey app developer, I have one word for this app. Absolute. Garbage. Okay, so that's two words. Doesn't really matter, because no one is listening. If I have to go to website to look at my statements, what's the point of this app?🤔

The system is very antiquated. First of all it doesn't allow you to speak to it you have to type everything in. It is incapable of depositing money in someone else's bank account they can only issue a check and mail it to them. I've been doing this on one of my payments for 3 years with my old company but now I can't do it anymore and they no longer have the convenience of having the money deposited in their account. It's difficult to move from one place to the other in your system.

A good feature to add would be the ability to refresh by dragging down on the screen when you're on the accounts page. i find myself having to log off and log back in to check if a transfer was applied to my checkings account.

Picture deposit working great again. Thanks guys. Used to work ok, the camera acquisition was a little weird, but I adjusted to it. Latest update crashes app when attempting camera capture for mobile deposit. On a hunch, tried my older Tab S2 on v7 Nougat and mobile deposit worked fine, was a fresh install of current app version. Note 8 on v9 Pie is crashing, app auto updated via Play Store. Reinstall on Note 8 made no difference. Ill just use my tablet until fixed.

I have been a member of Rivermark for over 20yrs and have ALWAYS received the best service from the simplest teller banking to the most difficult financing situations. My requests were met 100% everytime, and handled with the best customer focus and meet in advance of the time they committed. I would recommend this credit union to anyone looking for banking options everytime.

Great app, easy to do most of the things one would do with a banking app. Only withheld one star because I haven't found a way to do bank to bank transfers on mobile, and have to use to use the desktop version for those. All in all, definitely worth having the app.

Everything works with this app in my experience except mobile deposit is very tedious. It seems to create non existent shadows. Now that they've opted out of shared branching, I see mobile deposit as crucial to this app. Not every employer offers direct deposit, unfortunately. Other than that, this app runs smoothly.
