Love all the Leveled books. They are perfect. I do wish there was a control setting to turn on/ off the computer reader. My kid tends to just press the button to listen to the pages. One other point- when they ask the kids to rate the book after readings, the sounds are too loud. They're a lot louder than the computer reader. Still a great app though.

Books aren't very good, voices reading are only computer generated voices, the books are far too simple with only a couple words per page on level 1. Not much of a story. Most books don't have the read to them ability. And you have to press the button on each page for the app to read to them. App has great potential, would love to see what it becomes with some more refinements.

The little one absolutely adores this app. It has reignited his love for reading, and he looks forward to popping balloons and learning new things every day! I like the rating system and the customizing options for profiles and reading levels, especially how easy they are to alter if you feel your kids needs harder/easier books. They have such a wide selection of books and your kid is sure to find some they enjoy. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

I love Rivet but not going to marry it. Rivet has books and Videos. They have subjects like new books or videos. They also have subjects like learning, vehicles and few more. Rivet keeps track in how many minutes you read when you read a book. You pop the balloons in the end of book and its fun!!THIS IS ALSO FREE!!! When you do the definitions, it helps you say it and you get more balloons. I have ton of things to say, but you figure it out when you install it!!

The way the grade system is 6 to 7 grades behind is not good. My 4 year old can read your so caled 8th. Plz get good books like it's not that hard at least write a mildly interesting concept then turn it into a story. But i do however like your speech option, reading out loud could change the way that you remember the book for the better. I also enjoyed your cute little characters and multiple color options, it made the page much easier to look at.

Rivet Is the best reading app ever I highly recommend it you can do many things like pop balloons with great satisfaction, you can pick your profile picture , change your background, you can even rate the books at the end and so much more!!!! but the best part is it makes me want to read thanks rivet I love you !! it also includes people from YouTube as well. 💗

I just installed this app again and its not working the same way it was before. It says to check my internet connection but my internet is working fine. When I installed it, it was very downloading fast. I press retry and still not working. I tried to reinstall the app and still says the same thing. I am 10 and i really wanna know why this app was the best. If this is a bug please fix it!

I was watching youtube and then an ad came on, I was going to skip it but i decided not to. After the ad was over i thought to myself "Maybe this app can teach my little sister how to read" so I paused my video and downloaded it. After three days of my little sister trying to read the same book, she was able to read the entire book without the pictures!

In terms of reading interesting books as a family, we stick with the Epic app. That said, in terms of actually learning to read, I haven't found an app as useful and well-designed as Rivet. Yes, some of the people-based stories are truly bizarre, but they serve a purpose. The inclusion of a wide number of Kaeden Books is particularly enjoyable. Bravo.

I use this app in the classroom. The listening function the app has works so well that it can hear my class of second grade students read. I will often screenshare my phone with the classrooms TV and let my students pass the phone around. I do have a major complaint though... Some of the books are poorly written and need editing. There is no way for me to flag books that need rivision, as well. In the future I look forward to a wider variety of books, more academic in nature, for my older kids.

It's like having our own well organized library! We are living in a place that is not close enough to a library to visit often and this app gives us a much bigger selection of books. And it is a huge bonus that it organizes them by level so that we can use it for homework. It also has a lot of fun noises and cartoons to help make it even more fun. We love it!!

As an ESL teacher, I was testing this out to recommend to parents. Wonderful collection of levelled reading and pictures. Individual word help is more useful than only whole sentence repetition. Pronunciation check is very good but the directions on where to touch can be annoying. Furthermore the robotic voice help can be incorrect with homophones. For example, in the meerkat book: "live". Great work so far!

My toddlers have used Rivet for only a few days now. They enjoy the book library so much, and their vocabulary has increased. My five year is currently being tested for Autism spectrum syndrome. It would be so helpful if the software read each page to her then recorded her reading the page so that she could not advance to the next page until she read the page properly word-for-word. As it is now, I need to accompany her to ensure she reads each page properly before advancing to the next page.

I love this app! It's a great way for my daughter to read her fav YT videos as virtual books. We love the fact that you pop balloons at the end of the book makes it even better, and fun. Overall, it's very fun and has great choices of books to read. The one thing I would change is, a few realistic fiction please! Me and my daughter love that genre. Thank you!

I wish this app had easy of access for visually impaired students along with an auto read option. Maybe something where you can choose between being read to or selecting the words to help students pronounce them. Also if there are controls on the teacher and parent end where we can turn this option on and off to encourage the student to read on their own. Thank you so much.

Best reading app ever!!! My niece loves the books because it has her favorite youtubers and much more. The mic is such a good idea because she can read aloud and know what she get right or wrong. The only thing is the time delay can be a bit long sometimes and she will move on. I wish she gets specific point for reading it right or a tracker for parents so I can see her progress when I'm not with her. The fact that any words she doesn't know she can get tap it is great. A 8.5/10 in my book

I like how the app works and have nothing to say about the performance. But i wish there were other versions of Rivet or have settings. The app is for English speaking people, there are no other languages available. There are no settings to get rid of some of the sounds.( The audio not included)

This app is more than I could hope for! My son doesn't want to put it down. It's better than ABC Mouse, Reading IQ, and so many more apps. It actually listens to your child read and highlight the words as they get it correctly. It starts with very simple to read books unlike Reading IQ, and helps them identify individual words they struggle with. It tracks their progress, rewards completion and allows them to rate the books. Helps build fluency exceptionally fast. My son won't put it down AMAZING

We absolutely love this app. It's literally the only reason our child asks to use our phones. She loves learning to read and can't get enough new material to practice. With Rivet, she can. PLEASE please pretty please add a feature that allows for the user to download bills for online use without a network connection. Our tablet doesn't have a mobile internet connection so it can be a challenge to make this app work in situations where it would be most useful, like on a long car ride.

Greatest reading app!!! When my little brother first started reading on rivet , he loved it from the first page he read. So many interesting books, with different levels to satisfy anyone. Also, they have diffrent sections of books, so you can read what you like. I mostly read science and animals, but every category is made with love, care, fiction facts and learning books that make every kid learn and love to read. Honestly, I think that rivet should be on the top charts of google play store.

It's was amazing it has levels from 1-8 and I'm in level 4 because I'm in grade 3 and I like hard stuff. I was reading a book about spiders and it was so cool! Like if you like spiders and don't if you don't like spiders. You can choose Adventure books, you tube books, animal books, history books, comity books, and a whole lot more!

I loved the app but it needs improvements. It doesnt get the all words you speak. Even if i try to speak slowly and clearly. Edit: I think its because of weak internet connection. Maybe some warning notification may be put about this. Edit 2: And I wish american accent can also be used in it. Edit 3: Speaker's reading speed should be adjustable

I gonna give it four stars, Rivet can do it better, and don't be mad on me, I mean, this is one of the greatest I've ever tried, however, it's annoying when rivet is not able to distinguish the expression such as (look after or get in the car) because for someone who is just starting to learn English can be very confused, because in Spanish we usually have to use one word for every verb we do, therefore you should fix it, P.S. I would like story books in French and German, thanks for read me.

I absolutely love this app.I have 3 boys and this app is useful for all of them. I have an 8 year old on the autism spectrum and he can read but he gets upset reading books. He loves videogames so he enjoys trying to get all of the words in the books. My 7 and 9 year old have speech issues and we use this app as a tool. It helps them slow down and enunciate. Cool that you can pick a word and focus on it and it will break it down to the letter that needs work. They also like rating the books.

It's an amazing app. You can pick what level you want to read at. There are many choices! I would like more animal books because their my favorite. Fun for little kids,it has a little game at the end of each book. Some books can be read to you. Some books are from yt which I don't like. Overall it's a nice reading app. Please add more animal books ☺️

So far this app seems great. I'm surprised that it is free. Its comparable to Raz Kids. The books are great. I don't love the YouTube books, but I can see the benefit, especially for reluctant readers. Kids love You Tube. If turning that junk into books gets them reading, why not? An option to block the YouTube books might be beneficial. Overall, this app is a great way to help get kids reading. Thanks for all of the work that went into it.

Tee. B. May 2, 2020

Absolutely love it. You can pick the reading level. The kids get to pop balloons at the end of the book and then rate the book. My son absolutely loves this. I've absolutely loved this app especially now that we are home-schooling. Thank you for the amazing reading app. We downloaded a few and yours is my favourite.

My daughter is doing so well on this app. She's been struggling with reading and finding motivation to learn. Rivet provides us with small books that she can feel accomplished over. She loves the review at the end where she can click on the funny noise faces and the cool emojis. Plus I love that it can tell how long she's read so I can document it for school.

I love how everything is free! This is great for kids to learn how to read, my favorite feature is when they have access to the microphone you have to say the sentence and if you say the wrong word it corrects you, if you don't how to say it you tap on the word you cant say and it will tell you you can also tap the messy icon when you tap the word, if you tap the messy icon it will let you try say the word, for example. SENTENCE EXAMPLE: My mothers friend had a baby i said congratulations. Say your kid couldn't say congratulations, they could tap congratulations tap the messy icon and try to say it, if they say congrats it will highlight congrat until you say the full word you can go back to reading. I suggest you download this app if you want your kid to learn (Science, history, etc..) You can also pick the reading level, that will pick books for their school level.

Amazing! Its just so great! I am in 3rd grade and I had the book for 3 days. I wanna know what level I should change it too for a 3rd grader. I gave it a four stars because I want every app to have the speaker. It helps me a lot but also distracts me from understanding what the book is saying. I think I should read it and then turn on the speaker. I love that it makes the sounds when you rate it and that is has emojis so we can tell you how it was! It also has a minigame at the end of each book
