Features

To use Raymond James Investor Access, you must first be enrolled through the desktop version of the site. The app allows you to view a quick account summary and market snapshot of your holdings. Details you’d find in Investor Access are now available on your mobile device, including:

• The account summary offers an at-a-glance look at account information, balances and a direct link to your full portfolio. You can also see details such as change since last statement, your prior statement, and current and year-end balances.

• On the portfolio screen, you can view a breakdown of your holdings with links to additional market information. You can also view daily price changes, quantity held, delayed prices, estimated annual income and yields, as well as amount invested.

• You can also view account activity for the past week or up to 25 transactions. A “show more activity” link allows you to browse for additional activity.

• The market snapshot screen offers a quick view of a security’s performance and price and volume history.

• In-app ability to contact your financial advisor. Your advisor’s contact information is easily accessible, so you can reach out quickly with any questions you may have.

Does not seem like there is any work being done on this app. They have published a new version recently but only state "bugfixes and other updates" without listing details. The fingerprint bug is the most common complaint here, but still hasn't been addressed even though it has been a problem for a while. You can at least show us that this app is still being developed by listing what you have fixed or improved. I don't use the app much anymore inconvenience of having to hit a password mgr.

Fingerprint login doesn't work. Remember Username doesn't work either. Functionality needs improvement. Functionality is years behind what I would expect. With an app this bad, and the websites not much better, I wouldn't use Raymond James to manage my money if my financial advisors weren't using the platform. They're looking at alternatives and I hope they find one soon.

Frustrating app!!! Regardless of how many times of trying to set up the fingerprint scan option, it doesn't work and I get and error it isn't working. In addition, the app refuses to remember my username on the login page. So damn frustrating to have to reenter this info over and over again, and to have features shown that clearly do not work.

As many have complained. Fingerprint(biometric) no longer works. Does not remember username. Data is not real time or uptodate. No slowing or speed issues at this time. I have not had any font issues as others. As some have suggested bookmark the web page on a secure browser and login using that till developer fixes above issues. Please pay attention people are trying to tell you something when your app has a 2.3/5 rating.

Fingerprint login works fine for me. I also haven't experienced the font issues some other users are reporting. Samsung Galaxy S9+. I don't see a significant loss of functionality versus the HTML website so all-in-all a good experience so far.

Terrible app since update a few weeks ago. Slow response to login. Slow load. 47 minutes into the trading day it still shows no info updated past 941am, meaning it reflects nothing past last Friday's close. Uninstalled and reinstalled, same issues.

Fingerprint no longer works with new phone. The font is way to big on the update and the drop down menus on the stocks and their positions don't work half the time. Fingerprint still doesn't work. The last version. Was better

Since the recent update, I have not been able to use my fingerprint to log in nor does the app remember my user name. And on some pages, the font is way too big so you can't see the entire page. Please fix these issues ASAP!!!

I use this app everyday. I am unable to get the fingerprint process to work. You turn it on and it just spins the clock and never finish. LG V60 5G phone. After all these months you could have fixed this problem!

I don't know what was done with the last update on 2/8/22 but the portfolio view is awful now. Graphics are cropped at edges and expanding positoin detail overlaps other positions. Maybe it's only bad Galaxy edge models.

Takes forever to load. Will not remember your username. Does not have all the updated info the website has, simple things like checks recently deposited. Terrible upgrade. Whatever bugs it fixed it made up for it with new bugs. Thumbs down.

Liked the app until today, now can't login on the app at all, just keeps messing up, but I can login without issues on the website thank goodness. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but didn't get much farther. App tries to have you use 2 factor authentication, but won't submit on the screen to send you a text from the app, but the website works. App must have had an update recently that broke it, please fix!

Same problem everyone else is complaining about: fingerprint login doesn't work. When I check "log in with fingerprint" on the main login screen, the "login" button becomes non-functional; nothing at all happens when I touch it. If I un-check it, I can log in with a user ID and a password, and then I can choose "Settings" from the menu and select the one and only item there, which is "enable fingerprint login." It asks me to enter the password, which I do, and then it just sits and spins forever. Could you guys fix this, please? It used to work, and I'm obviously not the only person who's annoyed that you broke it.

Slow. Dated look. Biometric setting does not work - just spins in wait. Update: tech support is terrible. I've contacted 'support' twice via email to report the app issue. They say, please call client support for assistance. No attempt to diagnose or instruct. I'm running the latest app and Android.

Seriously, it's time for an update. This app is basically a single site browser for their web site. It mostly works okay for viewing balances, except for the fingerprint security option, but when you compare it to Fidelity or E-Trade apps, this one looks downright primitive.

The log-in works on average 1 in every 10 attempts. It asks for a fingerprint yet attempts to scan my retinas. Once you enter your password, then answer the security question (which you literally have to enter with every log-in) then it says processing your request and spins undlessly until you give up. I am switching financial advisors simply because of the difficulty I am having with this horribly developed app.

Latest new "feature" in the last RJ app "upgrade" was quite a surprise ...it no longer worked on my Samsung Note 4 phone!!! When I called tech support I was eventually told that the latest version of the RJ app only supports Android 7 or better ( my phone is stuck on the latest Android 6 version with no further updates forthcoming from my cell service provider. Someone at RJ needs to take a hard look at their tech group...pretty poor way to treat clients who don't choose frequent tech upgrades!!

Good to see I'm not alone but sad to see that Raymond James has done nothing to correct the issue. Starting a month or so ago no longer able to use or enable fingerprint login. Makes it really difficult to use the app. You have to log in with the password every single time. Please fix this. There are enough people complaining about it that it's time.

Frustrating, used to work fine and now I can't login. I get to the security question at login and it always tells me it doesn't match their records which I know they are correct as it works perfectly on the desktop. Deleted the once convenient app.

Terrible app! It used to work ok...never great, but at least it worked to some degree. However, in the last few weeks I can't even login. It keeps telling me my information is incorrect and it definitely is not. I can login fine on the website. I just uninstalled and use the website now.

Can't get past enhanced authentification: Gives me options to have text sent or a call but clicking next does nothing and leaves me on the same page. App worked fine on iOS but Android version not working for me... Tried using data only and then wifi only but still not working. Sweet. Desktop version on Chrome works for now...

It use to work perfectly. Now, it won't ever let me login. Constantly tells me that it doesn't recognize me or that it can't log me in. I can login the website just fine. I like to check my balances & transfer money on the fly. The app was so convenient for the that, but now it's just kitschy & frustrating.
