Cant sync with my contact list despite having granted all permissions. Now have to type numbers in for send money or airtime etc. This feature hasnt worked properly for months and each time there is an update, I keep hoping it's been resolved but nothing. My phone is a Note 9 with the latest Android update. Not a phone issue.
USE SIM1 Worked very well on all my previous phones, but refuse to start up on a brand new bog standard "Google One" Xiaomi A3. Even after spending more than 30 minutes on the phone (btw the tel number the app display for app support is wrong) with their support and being promised resolution and feedback, to no avail. It just starts up to display the following: "YOUR REQUEST CANNOT BE PROCESSED". No further coms received. Trail and error proved the app only "works" with SIM1 on dual SIM phone
I used to have very few issues but lately struggling a lot. When logged on, I can use the app for maybe 30 seconds then it tells me I'm offline. This is both on Wi-Fi and mobile data. Banking messages, especially approvals, rarely come through on time.
Bank pushes us to be cardless and we have to use scan or tap to pay via the phone. Everytime you try and use this it keeps thinking and most times shows not connected. This is with full 4g signal. Same issue if on full Wifi Signal with speedtests close to 100 up and down Normally takes 2 to 5 minutes to actually get a payment done via the phone
Please can the efiling option be added to the app. Very difficult to use your browser to log in which then insists you use the app and then doesn't allow you to log in. I then have to go to a PC to log in just for the efiling option. If you're going to have an app then have all the functions. Otherwise just leave us with normal online banking
UI needs a major redesign as well as dark mode. The UX is tedious and clunky at best. Takes too many taps to perform simple actions and get basic information.
Terrible app that never loads. I use the FNB app instead as it works too.
Updated phone to Android 12 and will no longer launch. Nothing happens when tapping the icon. Other bank apps are perfectly fine.
Frustrating app ever....RMB Pay does not accept the metal fusion card now I am forced to add credit card for RMB Pay. It's been months and every time I want to use Tap to Pay it never goes through. So much for us going contactless. Worse off I am missing out the ebucks I could be earning.
Latest update has a bug when clicking on a push notification to read the message - a blank page opens up with unresponsive hamburger menu. Has become very slow and sluggish
App's system always unavailable. It's so frustrating because I need this app for daily transactions. I always have to delete it and reinstall.
App is slow and the new changes are confusing. When I open my account transaction history it give me the option/buttom to "activate"? Activate What?
For no reason it has decided not to log in regardless of my very hi speed internet am still struggling to login and it has been going on for a long time
Finally, after more than a year (since 01/02/2019) the SINGLE scheduled payment now works correctly via the mobile app (in line with the functionality of Online Banking). Thank you!!
Great app... I just wish you had more things you can sort out without needing to go into the bank.
App keeps getting stuck trying to bring up the login page... Sometimes rebooting phone helps sometimes not...
This new update has made this app unbelievably slow and unusable...please try and make this app faster. And now everything is in wiered places... difficult to find stuff. Only reason i didnt give 0 star is because theres none
Simplicity, speed and accuracy is all I can say regarding my short web review on the web app.
It is very bad to send out communications out other than business hours, quite frankly it is distasteful.
I'm loving this app, hardly had issues in all the devices I have used. Thank you FNB/RMB

You are not able to get a homeloan pre approval via the app unless you are selling your current property. The bankers send you to the app for pre approval, but you are forced to answer yes to selling property to be able to complete the app even if you are not selling property.
Your app continues to be unavailable. Can you please fix the issue.

Hi, I am very happy with the design and usability of the app as a whole. I don't really use the website anymore. Ever since the last update where you could add/amend scheduled transfers and payments. Although it would be nice to be able change instructions of the shares portfolio like debit order amounts and dates, then it would be perfect on the app as well and only on the website. They way that I do my banking, its perfectly fine for me. Regards YaLiRo
