One star. Still no refreshing option and no train map No option to buy a connecting single ticket - The map is awful. By tapping when zooming, panning... a point in the map is selected. Selecting a point in the map would be much more convenient with a long press - The history in the search box is not working properly (chronologically) Comments after the last big update: One can update a connection by "pulling" from the top of the screen Not possible to see the map when selecting a single train

I can only comment on how well it works in Frankfurt. The train, tram, and U-Bahn schedules are mostly accurate in real-time. The bus arrival times are less reliable. The app is helpful if you want to find less obvious connecting routes, and especially in finding alternatives when, once again, large parts of a line are out of service for maintenance. The UI itself definitely has room for improvement. Purchasing tickets through the app is extremely buggy. Save your time by using a vending machine

Not so user friendly compared to Sweden's västraffik app which is the best I have ever used. Yesterday I struggled finding the correct bus stop to my destination. There were 2 bus stops with the same name! No platform name. Huh. Can't even navigate from my place to the bus stop using the app. It only pops up some map which isn't really navigating. Wasted a lot of timing running here and there in the rain just to find the correct bus stop. For the people who are new here it is a nightmare.

As a foreign tourist I have tried to use this app to move around Frankfurt and it is very complicated, uselessly hard to use, some of the information are even wrong (such as times of departures and so on) plus, the majority of the main information are all in German even though you set the app in English. Since the prices are even the same as the "real" ones, better use the machines to buy the tickets.

I can't login with the app. Whenever I try to login to the app, I get the response: "The username or password is incorrect. If necessary, click 'Forget your login data?' to reset them", I did that, but nothing works. However, I can still login on the web with the newly reset data. I reinstalled the app hoping to get an update, but the problem is still the same.

It worked really well the first month, then it stopped finding commonly used stations, it started to lag when I tried to purchase a ticket, and after three uninstall-reinstall attempts, the problems seem to have been exacerbated. It's a shame because its got the workings of a very convenient app, if only it functioned properly.

Worked at first, then buying tickets wasn't possible any more. Tapping the corresponding button had no effect. Restarting the phone didn't help. Couldn't buy the ticket using the RMV machine either, because me and some other frustrated people waiting in the line were possibly just too dumb to use it. Got a 60 EUR fine for traveling without a ticket. Uninstalled the app, never again RMV.

Impossible to buy single journeys in advance, and if you want to read detailed info about delays and construction you have to physically go to the website because the full PDF is not visible in the app. The app often logs you out and shows your already-purchased cards as expired even when they are not. Don't even get me started on how this always seems to happen right when your ticket is being checked...

I had an error ( error 500) while purchasing a ticket with PayPal, still I didn't get a ticket on my tickets list on the app but the payment was successful, after a while I noticed that the payment went 4 times and still no ticket to see on my app!! If you try to call the service number provided by the app contact service you will notice it's not a free call and you have to actually pay to get help !!!

Interface: 3/5, Comfort: 5/5, Information: 5/5 The most necessary app in Hesse state. Very useful and accurate to the level of the display boards in tram stops (experienced in Frankfurt city. Have less idea about outside the city) close to real time updates. Easily connects with calenders to help you have reminders. And ables you to get tickets on the go. In Hessen personally find this more helpful than DB Bahn app! Recommendation: very high ( Will save you lot of time and energy)

I'm no longer able to purchase any tickets through the app. It worked well for the first month, but now I get a message saying "Account is not active" every time I try to buy any tickets. I'm in a small farming village without any ticket machines. I rely on this app to purchase tickets for my commute. I highly doubt I'm the only one who's experiencing this issue

How does Frankfurt MTA have a worse app than Nuremberg MTA. Has no auto type suggestions for stops and won't find connections from addresses. You have to use Google to find the names of the stops and plug them into the app. It also charges you tax and a service fee for purchasing a ticket, no such tax and free supply when purchasing a paper ticket from a machine at the station. App is crApp.

Where to start : this (very) ugly app belongs to another century ! The opposite of user friendly. Only usable for extremely basic requests (from one metro station to another) only because you cannot use Google maps in this country to go from A to B by public transport (another very stupid and very German unpractical choice). So you're stuck with this super ugly app ! Thank you !

If should be 0 but there is not such an option. The Information that this application says is always but always wrong . The amount of time i missed my train because of this application is just impossible to be counted. It would be mich better to just take a photo of an Standard S Bahn Plan and just look at it , would be much accurate. Or blame the S Bahn Drives for their incompetents , that they can not or wont stick to the plan changes, Just take an Uber or a Taxi if you do not want to be late.

Awful app. It is not user friendly, and the routes are not updated regarding detours or changes. You just have to figure it out yourself at each station. Also, it rejected the payment method for no reason, and now RMV is making it as difficult as possible to pay the bill. Never using again.

Doesn't include points of interest. Also cannot navigate easily on the map. We tourists ask for one great app but unfortunately Google maps doesn't include all RMV info (no trams and busses), and Here we go is buggy as well. So is there one reliable app at all to navigate with public transport??

Frankfurt Airport to Ingelheim. Booking a ticket in advance should be simple, right? But this is German Public Rail, so the answer is a resounding NO. The Deutsche Bahn Website complains its a local network connection, 'we don't sell for it' even though part of the route is usually their train. The RMV app sometimes complains its in between 2 networks at other times it complains that you can't book a ticket in advance. Too many other problems to put here. Broken app. Use the ticket machine.

perfect, and not complicated as i read in those review. you first enter a destination then you get results with time of travel and the cost, and when you click on a option you get all information of current station in real time. i don't how how it can be less complicated than this, maybe it should read our mind and guess where we want to go, then send all informations directly to our mind, without having us even looking at the phone :).

Really Really bad app. You can't buy anticipated tickets. And this information is written somewhere buy I couldn't find it. Why you live the option to choose the departure time but you can't buy it? Looks like you guys never used trains or public transport. Do you ever bought a ticket with a normal app? You should do it and see how it's suppose to be. In the rest of the world, when you select the time departure you expect that the ticket will be for this trip.

Now that integration of buying tickets and mobile tickets is possible. This app deserves a 5 star.. I use on day to day for checking connections, live status, buying tickets, warning for a route, can set reminders for a trip or to calendar. Etc.. As everyone suggests, can be integrated with google maps for route options Good work keep it up

I wouldn't recommend it. I bought two tickets ahead(costing me 32 Euros) because when I checked for the times for the train next day,the app offered there were tickets available for that time. I bought them on the app. Next day I couldn't use it at all. The rmv bus driver told me the tickets were only possible to use in the same day that i purchased and I went to service center at bahnhof and had to buy again. I lost over 32 euros with no refund.

extremely complicated, instead of making it quick and easy to pay, you force people to be Schwarzfahrer. Miserabel. App remembers you, (my account was blocked, for whatever reason) and there is no way to just somehow get it quickly updated, or just change data, card number etc, it just says sorry blocked. Well then, sorry ;-) Deinstalled rmv app. I use dbahn app for rmv rides. They got it right)

For certain connections there is a bug where the 'cheapest option' is a day ticket. Actually a regular single ticket for this connection is just about 50% of this prize. Don't trust the ticketing functionality. App is ok to find connections and schedules

The only thing this app is good for is checking the schedule. I could not buy a single ticket with it, due to numerous error messages. Can't use a credit card either. Crashes all the time. An absolute disaster.

Requires a lot of improvements. The map is 1/5. The bus stop information is sometimes totally incorrect. The app stalls and the UI is overall not very user friendly.

This app is never be able to calculate the shortest route, it doesn't only apply to me but also a lot of my friends. Instead of choosing the nearest station it always suggest some stupid route which requires extra long walking
