Horrible functionality seems like D is way behind when designing apps. The app does not let you buy ticket ahead. So if the ticket buy fails you will miss the train. Because even the app or their system locks you out. It will not show you any lock out warning or email. And when I called the guy said sorry that department is closed until Monday :-( I think a better and more logic system you will even get in a Jungle. Deutsche Bahn please don't make this app a nightmare for customers.
Very bad. It works only when it wants. Ticket checkers don't want to support tickets using this app. Waste of space and time. Sometimes money too
purchasing ticket this morning produced an error message with empty text field. do i have a ticket? definitely not! did i pay for a ticket? maybe! and yes my internet cinnection WAS up!!!
takes forever to load. Sometimes can't purchase because of lack of internet connection even there's a good connection
I'm getting empty error dialogs when trying to log in. I have no clue if my password was wrong or your servers are down.
One can't check trip plans /costs without registering to be able to use it... Useless app to me.
Tickets are more expensive with this App and most of the times it does not work anyway.
I have received 3 different pins on mobile and every time I was told to relogin. Old pin was not working and I asked for another one and then another, another

Hint: The statement "For an older version" is FALSE. Most of it has been written for, and all of it applies to the latest available version as of 2018-09-30. WARNING! When lucky, kind of works but barely. Unreliable at ticket inspections! Inspections have become stricter and require a restart on each inspection because the app does not display correctly after running a few minutes. Needs restart maybe every 2 minutes to make the ticket valid for checking. In addition to the crashes. After restart it works for a while Hangs for a minute whenever there is no reason to (no Internet access required), especially at each ticket inspection. What is it doing? And in German "es läuft nicht" referring to an anti counterfeit property of the ticket. Correction it hangs for more than 2 minutes This is in addition to that the interface is generally extremely slow, sometimes e.g. on 2018-09-30 shows garbage maybe due to server problems, impossibility to buy tickets and see what everyone else is writing...
If the app works and if the specific transport you buy for is running and not delayed, it's convenient and makes tram tickets much cheaper. But the app often doesn't work. Or will make you buy the same ticket twice. And in reality your route won't run smoothly and you will end up buying an ubahn and Stressbahn ticket on top of your tram and bus ticket. And in the middle of the stress you will just be thinking, "why oh why did I not just get a normal Einzelfahrt?"
Upon travelling through another timezone than CET, this App is now showing all the wrong travel schedules. E.g.: while searching for next connection with this App, I entered time of 16:00 and the app is showing the result of connections for 20:30. And also shows that the bus/tram of 17:15 has already passed.
Prices are good and is usually easy to use. They need to work on their server availability and guarantee a connection to their services. Otherwise you can't rely on it. Happened now the third time in two weeks that you can get the connections but not the prices and the service to purchase a ticket is not available. How can your servers be unavailable during times when everyone is commuting. And no... it was not my mobile, Everything else was working fine. So you end up buying a full priced paper ticket from the machine, because I believe the ticket control guys in the trains don't care for app availabilty and will charge you 60€. So TL;DR great app if the service is up. but don't fully rely on it
When it works it's great, but it suffers from frequent connection timeouts. This is especially frustrating when you are trying to buy a ticket just as the bus or train is arriving and you end up either missing the bus/train or having to buy a paper ticket at full price.
Good idea, terrible execution. App has been unable to provide pricing information for two days now.
It crashes all the time. Today the ticket control was checking while it crashed. They didn't have any patience and wrote me a fine for 60€. It is so frustrating to not be able to prove to them anything!
Time setting not working on Galaxy S6 when trying to buy a ticket, not letting me purchase a ticket, pretty much useless...
Did you even hire any programmers to develop it or you just gathered some people from the street and asked them to make the app? Crashes constantly and you end up getting a fine
All directions I have tested were more expensive than the usual tickets from the vending machine
I use the stand RMV App but this needs to iron out the many bugs before I use it again
frequently have ticket purchase failures. extremely annoying and stressful. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it wonr stop crashing, or even fails to open at all.
