The App allows you to have hours of fun with the board game in a completely different way to the base game, for free (initial campaign). I really enjoy the atmosphere and extra immersion created by the app. Overall I think its excellent. One major omission however is the lack of an 'undo' button in case you click the wrong button, please please add this. Also a dedicated save button to save exactly where you are is also another must. Would have been 5 stars if not for these two ommisions. Thanks

This app, in my opinion, is a requirement to making Descent more casual friendly. It helped me get my children interested in the world of "real" board games. My favorite aspect is the sound effects that gives each map life. A huge bonus is how the app manages your inventory, and skills. I'm really hoping the dev's, make more campaigns. There is a huge interest in this, from all the people I've talked to. I'm completely willing to pay for additional content.

This app is a buggy mess on Android. Interactable tokens, doors, etc. only work half of the time, and sometimes the game board, monaters, etc. dont even spawn--you're just left with a blank screen and nothing for your heroes to do. I've tried using this app over the past few years, and each time I end up abandoning the game due to bugs. Very disappointing. I reached my limit in frustration this morning when the game failed to even load the map.

I will say this, the game is very contradictory. The idea is to be overwhelmed in the game by the overlord but not to feel like everything is wasted. Exploration is discouraged because each quest is put on a time limit but at the same time if you dont explore the game punishes you by increasing the difficulty exponentially. Also some of the side quest are to difficult for any amount of players. Monsters just keep spawning so nothing can be done. It makes the game irritating and not fun at all.4⭐

A great way to expand the game, and one which I wish more dungeon crawler developers followed. The ability to mix in expansions and the added atmosphere of the overworld is great, as is the balance between the physical and digital game (the app enhances the physical game but only replaces the DM).

Not what i thought. I wanted a co op variant of the boxed game but this app has app only campaigns. Thats fine, but i bought the boxed game thinking i could play it co op with the app without additional purchases. You will have to buy more campaigns through the app to play co op with it and your boxed campaigns are not playable this way, just to be clear. That said, more cheap campaigns you can buy on the app is a good way to expand the game and the app is well made. -1 star for reasons above

It is a free app that adds a new way to play the game. It becomes a regular dungeon crawl rather then a 4v1 tactical and competitive game. You do need to have the game but the app mixes tilles from different expansions and you get different side quests. You can use the app to play with your children as it seems noob friendly enough.

You need the actual board game to be able to use this app. This app makes this game a must have for anyone who enjoys having a good time with friends while destroying monsters together. It keeps everything organized and neat. You can have up to 5 different groups going and the app will separate that for you. You can organize your box the same exact way every time. There are some paid extensions within the app. They are worth the money.

The app is ok. Not enough campaigns for just the base game or at all really, No campaigns from the book, only 1 for base game. Campaigns are WAY to hard following rules.... Damage end of round with no escaping it. Roll defense, take damage everyround. On a time limit + monsters respawn, Makes playing not fun at all.... Needs more features like what round you're on, details on round history. Needs to have a very easy option. Not happy with app and will be playing overlord myself.

Great addition to an already great game. It adds so much content and variety of you have all of the expansions. Hope they keep coming out with new campaigns. Like others have said it would be nice to be able to play the campaigns that come in the base game and expansions.

amazing!!!!! it replaces the overlord with the device's mind. very good and very organised quests and campaigns generally. you can pay an extra 5 euros to buy 2 more modes ( delve & trials) each which is very worth and no cost to my eyes.

Last nights update caused app to no longer work properly. Can you please fix? No text on buttons and collections tab displays same item on each box. It's an easy five stars up until yesterday. edit: its working correctly now. changed to five 5 stars

App is well built and works nicely but makes the game unplayable. You cannot complete any of the levels as you take a silly amount of damage every turn with monsters getting buffs every turn and they constantly respawn. Then there are run limits too so either you die to the monsters, or if you try and avoid them you run out of time. Needs to be made more balanced because it's currently not fun to play the app version of the game.

please allow us to change font size. it would also be nice to have the ability to see what boards we need before hand so we can set them aside earlier. would save like 10 minutes in searching for board pieces.

Game is great but please please please add the quests from the board games to the app. My group downloaded this because we wanted to play those stories but no one enjoyed being the overlord. You have adventures that are only in the app, it cant be that hard to work in the paper ones too.

Needs an undo button, a way to play the physical quests/campaigns, and an optional peril setting. Aside from that, this app is the best way to continue bringing descent to tables.

Great addition to the game as I prefer playing co-op. I do wish there were more campaigns or a way to use the standard campaigns with the app as FF would still get to encourage purchase of the expansions to get additional campaigns.

Cool idea but because of the harsh time pressure the missions discourage exploration of the map. I'd rather spend more time exploring and looking for treasure instead of rushing to the goal.

The game looks amazing the graphics is amazing the feeling of the game rules... but you need the physical game in order to play Make this a stand alone game and you will have something that would actually make you some money, I would pay for extra campaign I would pay for extra heroes and many people would if the game is a stand alone game. It is sad that is still not :( I waited 10 years + for this and I really had my hopes up when I saw it only to be disappointed when I tried to play it

Moved phones to OnePlus 8. Crashes on startup every time. Also, since there appears to be no way to backup account, we will lose all progress if it does work!

It's too bad the app doesn't include heroes and monsters from the conversation kit. I would have given a higher offer all reading I'd it had.

Great app to use for co-op. We would love to be able to use the app to play the campaigns included in the board games as co-op.

Crisp, clean exactly what you hope for. Really makes the game easier, no longer need a fifth person to get hated by the group.

Should be banned in China although I highly doubt Chinese will like this cause they are more hands on unlike Europeans who sit in their hotels and use their local thugs to run third world country thugs and inbreeds playing them as pawns just like a game and when society is developed enough they start building big houses where if they stay in the US they will just be errand girl Cinderella. Nice concept though having the physical game makes the experience very engaging and exciting all the while made super easy thru the app. Although this defeats the purpose of converting board games into mobile format for convenience which is just an inconvenient for everybody except and this is the bad part for totally out of touch people that feel like they run the world and cause economies to fall while playing these games. This is not available to anyone only a select group can have a physical copy of the game and thus can play it the app itself does not have any base game for free and no option to buy. This type of people must not corrupt the Chinese Nerds and must be banned in China because Shaolin Kung Fu Tai Chi Wing Chung summer camps is still way better.

The game is very fun but I cant open the app on my brand new S10. I need to get my partners IPhone to open it which is really annoying :(

Descent is now my absolute favorite game! Between the figures which are amazingly detailed to the fact that there is this companion app. Greatest game everl
