I no longer receive notifications from the app since the last update. About half the of the deliveries l try to do have already been done by someone else. My offers are not accepted on a regular basis, even though it appears that no one else is delivering the order l tried to accept. No matter my distance from the pick up point, I'm only ever given 5 minutes to arrive on location. Other than that, it works well.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. The idea is great but the app execution is abysmally poor. Whatever updates they've done since I took a break, they need to undo. I've had multiple gigs that I've had to cancel because they have already been picked up. If you're not within two miles of the store, offers are stuck in pending mode until you cancel and resubmit. It's been an exceedingly frustrating waste of time and fuel.

The app is easy to use and navigate, and seems to function well except for one glaring issue. The app does not send notifications for local gigs. All appropriate settings are on. This causes me to miss gigs. Tried a fresh install and it didn't correct the issue. Will rate the app higher when the bug is fixed

Good luck getting selected. I guess you have to know someone at the store because my offers almost never get accepted. It can be close or far, it's the same thing almost every time. Another offer accepted. And the pay model should be updated with the price of gas. The bids are less than $1 per mile. I've seen gigs with drop offs hours away for $24.

This app doesn't want to pay fair rates. Best used if you want to add an extra gig if you're already going to an area. You can't do multiple deliveries even if they're at the same location and going to the same area. Very wasteful in areas where towns are 30-60 minutes apart Recent experience and had it happen several times now. You get a long distan gig, drive there and it's been picked up or it can'tbe filled. You get $3 TOTAL after waiting 15-20 minutes

First time using the app. I had 3 pickups at the exact same place but they were not listed together so I had to drive there 3 times!! Could you maybe bundle the deliveries if they are at the same store and set a route for the drivers? Would really save alot of time. Other than that it's not bad. I will give it time and review again.

I have been with Roadie since 2016. Over 488 Gigs completed. Most are really easy to do. Few issues. I really wish that the pay was a lot better though. Some gigs pay less than .30 cents per mile which is bad. Would do more if the pay were higher. Would love to see a photo of the item to be delivered taken by the sender.

This app is horrible I've tried for over a year to get verified through the app but it's so busted. I've done 3 updates over the course of that year period. Also spoke to several people in customer service for roadie in order to try and get the problem fixed. Sent probably about 13 different emails back and forth with different people in the company. Also the loads are literally chump change. Will make more money spending my time starting my own business cutting grass.

Horrible delivery app. You have to be within 35 miles from the delivery, most of them are duplicate orders that have been picked up already. I drove 50 mins from my house with a truck and trailer to pick up a delivery for 81 dollars only to find out when I arrived at the merchant that it had been picked up already and 2 other drivers had been there to pick it up as well and were turned away. They are only compensating me $8 for the cancelation delivery. I wasted more than $8 just in my time

Many trips at this point/5star reviews for those that did. After you make a certain allotment they throttle your accepted bids. Confirmed for 2 gigs, same area/same time (but separately, due to the matching system. Support will encourage you to Cancel). Canceled 1 gig, the other offer was accepted. But never accepted at the same time. They were smaller gigs nearby to each other. It's been 2 hrs and no one else has been accepted for either gig. I re-canceled bids after an hr wait in parking lot.

Ok, let's face it, the app has some room for improvement and it seems Roadie is making some improvements here and there. One of the issues I have noticed is the estimates for the drive time are way off if you live in the mountains and drive the speed limit. Another issue I have is with the outsourced, English is my second language, customer support. Its basically one notch above worthless and that's putting it nicely. Independent contractors, Roadie term, deserve a better local customer support!

Not good at all and it's sad because it could be great. Says you can take multiple runs at once but I never get more than one at a time, on a whole month of work I averaged less than $5 an hour after expenses and before expenses I made about $8 an hour and less than $0.60/mile. That's horrible pay you'll get a run that's 12 miles away to pick up then 15 miles from the pickup to drop-off and it'll pay you $8.00. Functionality has potential and if they paid more plus fixed bugs, it'd be great.

It doesn't let you filter "gigs" and the vast majority are people asking you to deliver furniture or other huge items 10 miles for $8 to $10 dollars. I can't imagine why they make you click through a map full of dots instead of listing the gigs in a logical and filterable UI.

While I'm finally able to pick gigs from retail and airport vendors in one route, which helps and adds up quickly. I would like it if they implemented gas allowances. Driving is becoming too expensive andi have to rack up gigs before departure. Since each gig alone is not giving at least decent revenue. Plus, I've never gotten tips from the app. Neither by customers. Nor vendors. I have a 5 star review with over 645 counts

Driver Beware: Slow Payments; while the app promises to do same day checkouts, unfortunately you have to wait for the app to post the payment. In addition, rates are not paid evenly or fairly across the board nor takes into any account of cents per mile and minutes/ hour delivery. Very few deliveries can be $8 for a five mile ride while most deliveries are like $8 for twenty mile rides. Finally, not enough gigs to satisfy drivers. In an inflated economy, this is horrible business!

App is not bad but does have some weird glitches such as sending you a gig after the pick up location is closed. However, if there is a problem, support does pretty good unless it is a heavy holiday time. Then it is so overwhelmed you can't get anybody for a long time, up to the next day. Then you are locked out of any gigs that become available. You can also not override the system in any way at that point. It needs a straight up cancelation option that does not require customer support.

The market in my area for this service is quite sparse, and the offers that do pop up are ridiculously long distances, with a very embarrassing payout. Hope it changes for the better, but for now, if the travel doesn't even cover my fuel, no thanks.

I was never paid any customer tips, only paid approximately $1 per mile for each order so if the order was 26 miles to get to from the starting point to the dropoff (not including the miles it took to get to the starting point) then I was paid just that, $26, Also I wasnt accurately paid my weekly bonuses for hours worked under California's Prop 22, instead I was paid out every 2 weeks and had my hours cut on paper so I didn't receive the stipend. Driver support was no help at all ever.

As a driver who uses the roadie app to supplement my income, I've come to find that the support personnel behind the scenes use favoritism and collusion to award gigs and can penalize and and be punitive against against drivers who speak out or ask too many questions about how they operate. (Algorithm) the brains behind roadie is used as a fallback excuse whenever they choose not to award or help in any way. Gig award ratio drops dramatically when challenged or drivers are locked out of accounts

There's no opportunity for tips, and the platform is trash, just like their system. The ratio for deliveries to drivers is 1 gig for every 10 drivers. This is not 1st come serve, many people will accept the same gig, only for your request to pend. You will wait 15:00 minutes- 1 hour for the system to choose one of the many drivers who were pending. Support said there systems criteria for drivers is the most highest ratings, who has done the most gigs, and distance from gig. Trash!

Bright white screen and delay every time the order is brought up plus navigation requires two clicks to get to separate nav app then start nav and return to roadie to deliver has the delayed response again. Remote deliveries service loss delays order submission. Swipe to arrive at every stop is annoying and unnecessary as it used to be automatic and tied to gps. The pay has gone downhill since the UPS buyout and the app got more laggy with more red tape.

Not only is it sometimes impossible to start a gig because the app freezes and forces you to restart your phone, but it also creates multiple tasks for the same delivery address so instead of getting colected funds, multiple people are delivering to the same house. Not to mention the issues with delivery completions that have left me circling the same area for thirty minutes trying to submit info so I can get paid for said task.

The app works pretty well. I just have to remember that it takes a few seconds for certain things to happen in the app. When I click on a bar or open up something on the app it takes a few seconds before it actually does what I wanted to do I am in impatient by nature but other than that it works pretty well

The app is woefully unable to function on a technical level. Gigs with more than 2 destinations will cause this app to chug. The app being as poorly optimized as it is makes it dangerous to drive on occasion. I have a Note 8 so this app shouldn't be struggling. Having to constantly stop to troubleshoot the app literally every delivery is ridiculous and is in need of a serious code optimization. I'm sure this is worth more than a canned response from a bot, but roadie is a "UPS company" now smh

The app lags when trying to do pick up and delivery confirmations...an irritating fact, but overall 4 stars for the app. Roadie Support is horrendous!! Therese must be the people who get fired from the DMV! No competent thinking or conversation, just reading from a script, after taking 10 minutes.. and hung up on intentionally on my last call. Pay is awful for most gigs, less than 75 cents per mile, usually 50 cents which does not apply to travel to pick up. UPS, fix your fledgling company!! :(

Tried it for 2 days for morning gigs, took one today from home depot, drove around 20 miles to get there, was a little late but the order wasn't ready , waited 15 minutes to see the order got canceled by the store, they paid 4 dollars for that, after contacting support, the lady named van wasn't professional and provided a very bad customer service, I am a top rated driver on several other gig apps but this will be my last doing roadie. If there was a 0 star rating I would have given it

I used to love Roadie. A good way to make extra money on your time. However, since the UPS buy out, the payout for Huge gigs are half what they were. Huge gigs are now labeled XL for under $20 most of the time. The same Huge deep freezer that you would deliver for $39 is now XL for $18. It's ridiculous. 1 person 300 lb orders are paying under $20 now in my area. Gas is too expensive for them to lowball us like this. Not to mention, they are now rushing us to the store for pick up.

Don't take any gigs that require you to pay for parking or for tolls. You'll spend the next month fighting with them trying to get your money back. Keep detailed records. They'll try everything not to pay you. They like to send you to dangerous places & places that don't exist, so choose cautiously. If you have any problems, you're on your own. They will NOT help you. They gatekeep like there's no tomorrow. The only positive is that they generally pay a bit better than the other delivery apps.

Very unprofessional support service.. upon choosing my 1st offer, my account was immediately locked due to a background check-which came back clear, but an address discrepancy. I reached out to do a support ticket, and no response as of today and it's been over 2 weeks...so disrespect to one's time. I would not recommend.
