You can't do anything useful like top the card up - an absolute necessity when 90% of tram stops also don't allow you to top up, and the office in the city closes after normal working hours. It works out 10p cheaper than using the Mango card - but is it really worth it when it's such a faff to use the thing.

This used to be my go to app for both bus and tram schedules. However all timetables are not working anymore, which makes 50% of the app redundant. The nct app as timetables which is still working. Sadly there isn't anywhere for tram timetables though, just local departure times within hour of location, which isn't good if trying to work out when you need to leave somewhere ot get somewhere else for a certain time.

Another flaw is the inability to access timetables from the Bus Stop> Buses menu. If you find your stop, then want to look at earlier times, or much later times, or see buses travelling in the opposite direction, you have to page back until you can access Explore, search for the number, and select Timetable. A little more path redundancy would make this app much more effective and flexible.

Useless, as there are never any working machines to check card especially if its failed to top up despite paying, and money out bank. So hey look great app has a card checker, but no it doesnt on so many phones. So what the point, just another useless item from Nottingham City Council, probably cost cutting and only for the rich with mega latest phones. Real world doesnt exist. Its ok disabled families can walk home as again top ups even at vic centre fail, machines dont work, USELESS APP

can only check card balance using nfc and 80% of the time the balance isnt returned, not sure why as nfc recogises the card, connection to the web is fine so must be the back end. This is the main feature i use the app for so experience is pretty poor.

The inky thing that needs ding is that you need to change the fact that the routes are done using straight lines. It's inaccurate with time because if it and makes it hard to navigate. Also the point song where you are neds and arrow to show which direction your facing. I've walked back on myself a few times because of this.

This is a great app for Nottingham Travel! The card check is great and the live departures are really helpful! One thing, the trams are the wrong way round so the southbound button on the app shows northbound departures and vice versa! A great app overall!

The app itself is great, this rating doesn't include my negative experience of the system unlike some other reviews. Just want to add what might be helpful to others: If you want a refund for faulty cards, make sure you turn up with a receipt at the Vic, otherwise if you are unclear that you want a refund, they will simply fulfill their side of the contract by giving you working versions of all the cards you bought. (One street machine didn't dispense the card and another dispensed a blank one)

I am a bit confused... so I can check my balance but I can't top it up? Or did i miss this option somewhere? That seems so pointless. Everyone knows that toping up robin hood card is the biggest issue in having it. I hope you will consider it and make some useful changes.

You know what I like about this app.....? Sweet FA! It's not worked properly in ages. Sort yourself out Nottingham City Council. It's not like its the failed Track and Trace App! It's also a shame I have to click on a star to post this message!

The app was amazing, all I ever used for my bus trips. Now all of a sudden non of the timetables work. Please please fix it, every other alternative like 'hugo' are so bad compared to what this was!

Totally useless app, needed to check supposed top up done by staff at Vic Centre bus station. As no machine works in Ng8 area I live, constantly broken But on all my phones this app isn't supported. So never mind try using the damn cards on a bus and end up stranded with a disabled child. If you pay at Vic centre please check your card if you find a machine working in Nottingham that is as this app doesn't do what it says

Robin Hood Network latest app update 18.09.2021 Version 34.2.1-58 Despite NCT bus timetables eventually reappearing again within the apps bus timetables list they are still none functioning. Are Robin Hood Network ever going to resolve the problem of missing bus time tables? A once go to app for public transport travel within Nottinghamshire and beyond has now become pretty much useless for these past six months. Maybe the problem has been intentionally left unresolved in order to dissuade people from using buses during the pandemic..

The developer just turned off the app functionality without warning. It no longer works and tells you to go to the website.

Total waste of time! wanted to check how much was on my card, but all I got was waiting for card. Put card on phone and still waiting. 10 minutes later still waiting. uninstalled. useless!!!

let us top up in the app! there are no robin hood top up machines in my area and I have to go into town to top up because for some reason nct won't let us top up online or in app.

Tra. M. Jul 10, 2019

It is quite a useful app that i can check my balance on before heading to catch the bus. However would be more useful if it could be topped up on it instead of going to the machines in the street.

Generally a decent app. My only real qualm is that the tram live times are a bit odd. You have to select the opposite platform for live times.

Kat. J. Jan 7, 2021

Nct (Nottingham City Transport) buses are not showing on the app anymore. Therefore walking 50 mins to a non NCT bus to get to town is not ideal, when I live a 7 min walk from an NCT bus stop.

Useless when you can't top up the cards in here nor near any tram stop outside of the city! Toton especially being the main tramline hub

Lau. M. Jul 3, 2021

Very useful app! Only bad thing - most of the electronic points around town to top up the Robin Hood card are broken.

Essential app for bus transportation in and around Nottingham. Easy to use and reliable throughout. Use it every day!

Ale. Jan 22, 2021

Bus timetables don't show, literally I keep trying to check the timetables and it just says "the bus doesn't go in this direction today" on all of them. Insanely inconvenient.

Nov. V. Dec 18, 2019

As a regular bus user I find this app to be very accurate and pretty useful for when the departures boards are not working. Excellent!

Lau. P. Jan 9, 2021

This was a great app until some bus stops disappeared. Now the buses I can use don't show up on it. Fix it please!

A. G. u. Oct 2, 2018

It is good but the live tram times appear on the wrong stop. (North bound on South bound and vice versa) I've reported it in app but it hasn't been fixed

Vin. L. Oct 26, 2018

Nice journey planner and great to have the ability to show card balance. I'd love to have the ability to top up my card from the app

Emm. C. Feb 3, 2019

Ok for checking cards. or timetables. would be alright if you could top up via the app, not just in the travel centre.

Jam. W. Jan 22, 2019

useless, mich like the robin hood card itself. no pay online, can't top up at most ticket machines. better off with a mango card.

Dav. R. Jun 9, 2021

What's happened to the live board times in the latest update? For me as a tram user that's dropped the most valuable feature of the app.
