Works for applications with Login screen on Android 4.1.2 & higher and web sites in Chrome on Android 4.3 and higher.
- Open Android Settings -> Accessibility -> RoboForm and switch it on.
- Open another App with a login screen or a web site in Chrome.
- Tap on the password field. Roboform should open matching dialog. In this dialog you can find your saved password. If you have not previously saved a password, then you can save it.
- Return to the application or Chrome browser using the system application manager.
- Tap on any input and you will see it filled.

Edited: Biometric issues reselved, thank you for quick response. 5 stars. Biometric login has been annoyingly buggy for some time now, doesn't work as expected, and certainly not reliably, hangs after the fingerprint scan. Also, the app doesn't seem to know when I'm trying to log in somewhere, and does not offer to fill in the credentials, this has to be done manually, with typing in the lengthy app master password, several times on occasion, depending on the login. Somewhat disappointing. :/
The app is a little hit and miss, on my previous phone having the autofill enabled slowed it down a little bit so i had to copy/paste the logins BUT the same thing happened with lastpass. However I think for the price is a really good option, on the browser works perfectly, the app is just a little derpy. Overall pretty happy with it.
Keeps crashing but I like the interface. The interface is a little dates but works when it works. When I click on an account to seem my information the app crashes. It was working fine for the last week, that is the only reason why I didn't give it 1 star.
Good but some issues. Currently not saving app passwords. If using apps no autofill so have to open Robo and manually fill. This can be tedious with long multi item passwords. Need to develop this please. Does not save passwords/user id accurately on many websites Have to log into website now to edit entries... a real pain. Synch doesnt seem to work properly and often requires manual intervention. Password generator does not automatically save generated password. Other issues. Good as storage.
Been using roboform for years and unaware of any breaches in its security. Very useful and keeps you much safer online than trying to remember loads of passwords for each site visited. Like others have said there are occasional issues with form filling on a minority of sites and have to go down the copy & paste route. Current version has an issue with the pop-up reappearing despite being removed on any page with any sort of form filling box. Please fix
I use RoboForm on Chrome, and it is pretty flawless. But on Android, it is glitchy at best. Sometimes it won't recognize the login page, so RoboForm won't recognize the email or password section. I have to click back and forth before RoboForm will pop up. Apps are less predictable than going to the website on the mobile browser, honestly, considering exporting all my passwords to Samsung Pass.
I've tried other password managers and was pretty satisfied with LastPass for a year or two. I was recommended Roboform, gave it a try and never looked back. I've been using it now for several years and have no complaints whatsoever.
Have used Roboform since the time it was free. Very happy to date however one niggle has recently popped up. If I enter the Roboform login screen the display continually rotates horizontal to vertical and back again every second or so. Too quick to login. This is with latest version of Roboform Samsung Tab latest software. Thanks
Suddenly I'm unable to enter expiration date on Square credit cards using manual entry. I submitted a trouble ticket over a week ago but so far no response. Roboform, Please try this and let me know if it's just me. I've used ROBOFORM for decades and love it, but not lately. Will change review to 5 stars when it's working again. Thanks
I have no idea how that spam message got posted in my RoboForm account. Now for my REAL review. This is so much better than LastPass! I was a LastPass affectionado for YEARS. But the last year or so, it seems the company has changed hands. No longer user-friendly. No longer able to actually speak to or message with any LastPass employee. Customer service is non-existant, and I felt that there was real resentment towards customers. Has the Pointy-Haired Boss of Dilbert taken over management?
ALL THE TIME now, I use it a few times, than suddenly I need to fill in a password but everything is empty, and I can get a message saying "setup failed" - after it's worked just fine a few times. I then have to delete all data in Android and set up again from scratch. I've been using Roboform for years, but there have been so many issues lately I'm looking for another password manager.
It's a good app and manager. My problem is I started using it as the browser extension, my trial has ended before I installed desktop. Once I did, I couldn't restore my data, and I couldn't import it as desktop was needed! My data was held hostage. Thankfully they offered a business trial which enabled me to get my data and out of there!
Face unlock still does not work for the Google Pixel 4 XL; The app hangs up when you attempt to view the passwords from RoboForms browser; App randomly pops up and floats on web pages and apps that don't have any fields to fill in. I post tickets but get no response other than we're looking into it.
I have been using roboform for a while and now the integration for auto fill in android is disgusting. Everywhere I am the roboform icon appears. Everywhere there is a text input it appears. Even on my web browser on every website I visit. It gets to a very annoying point. Being a service I pay for I am not quite happy. The password managing is quite good, PC version and apple ok. But Android... Not happy.
Erratic at best. I use google chrome and sometimes RoboForm pops up to populate login details. More often it doesn't and since this week's phone software update it doesn't seem to work at all. Also the sync between phone and laptop rarely happens. Initially I had great hopes for this , what with its ability to store details and generate secure passwords but the failure to function properly is becoming increasingly frustrating and I'll probably be looking for a new password manager soon.
Bought a 3 year licence. Doesn't work with Samsung Browser on Samsung phone or Chrome browser on the same phone. Have to use its built in browser which is rubbish and doesn't work with most of the sites I'm trying to use. Nord account won't log in through this either - what a waste of money, time and effort!
I have used Robo form across several platforms for many years, and I depend on it completely for password management. Fast, secure, reliable. I wish I could say the same for my own memory!
I have been a customer for years using the desktop Version. This app is terrible. Screen freezes. Doesn't work. Very frustrating.
Update:After the update when you open the app it ofter resets all the password saved and you need to reinstall the app again in order to sync it On 1+ 8 i need to reinstall the app everyday in order to use it because it requires me a free upgrade of the account. On the OnePlus 6 the system setting which allows to compile on web and apps ofter resets and does not work. Anyway, I would really appreciate a password changer like the one on Dashlane, and on the app the research could be improved
I've been using Roboform for longer than I can remember on a Windows PC. It now fully integrates into Android and iOS. It also works in Linux through a browser extension. It offers a number of useful tools to manage passwords and has a place to create secure notes. The only problem I've had is on Android where the app at times doesn't offer to fill Login forms. Highly recommended nonetheless. * Update: Code authentication is now built-in. A welcome addition! Works like Keychain on iOS.
Paid to switch from LastPass and after a short time, the mobile app was hit with these 'unsupported error' issues. After I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I am now missing some login information from my account, and the issue is not resolved. Just finished uninstalling, rebooting my device, and reinstalling the app for the second time per Support's directions. Starting to regret switching password managers.
Great password app! And it is. But if, God forbid, you have computer problems and it suddenly will not accept your master password, you will get NO help. You must create a new account and lose ALL of your data. After using Roboform for at least 20 years, they should find a better way of working with you to preserve/restore your data, but they will not. I understand that data must be kept secure, but when you have established who you are the least they could do is help you through it.
I had 1 password before and this one isn't bad I just think it could be better... It takes a little to get used too and I think the lay out of how things operate need updated...great price but like I said I had 1 password and they are opposite
After giving it a 1 star review due to the recent versions of the app being completely broken on my phone the developers have been actively working with me to try and solve the broken app on my Note 9. After an initial delay they have been in touch every day and working with me to find a solution. Review raised to 3 stars because as it stands the latest version of the app still doesn't work but they have provided me an older version that works which I am happy with. Hoping for a proper fix soon and I can rate it 5 stars again!
*12/9/21 STILL does not fully integrate into Android 11 with my Note 20 Ultra 5G, all permissions granted. Roboform also cannot save new user/passwords directly from browser, even after it asks you to save and pick a directory. A little Infuriating.*For a paid app, I expected more. I may not renew after my membership is up. However, I will say the PC version does work pretty well.
This used to be a good, but now unusable. I type in the search bar to find a login, it briefly shows it, then loads a ton of other logins that match the first letter but none of the others. Idiotic fuzzy search. Even though I've typed the login exactly, it's 50 items down the list. Also hitting Enter on search doesn't search logins, but does a web search. Why would I want you to do that? Many times I set default to show the login instead of Go/Fill, but random updates revert this setting.
Garbage app. Great for Windows! This app will not keep my account and passwords on it for some reason On Windows 11 I have no issues. This may turn me to use a different product in the next year instead of renewing. App hasn't worked for past 4 months on multiple android devices. Still getting upgrade account bug on Google pixel 6 here. Huh too bad I guess.
Reposting this review since my last one was deleted. Been a member with roboform for 15 years now and rarely had a complaint. However this new thing it does where it constantly pops up whenever there is a field of any kind on the page is really annoying. I was looking at a recipe and it popped up over and over because there was a field to change the quantity of ingredients. If you drag it into the X at the bottom of the screen to close it, it just reappears in the middle of the screen again.
