I am a user, and love the app. As for criticisms, your carrier has to support Conditional Call Forwarding to get all app functions. And yes, you can contact support: Call Log page, lower right for Settings, Contact Support. In order to block some calls I had to manually enter the numbers. For some I entered 940-597-xxxx to block all calls from the 597 exchange because those were neighbor spoofing that were trying to look local and legit.
Works in the background and reduces spam calls. It doesn't block ever spam call but it does help with most. Though, there are some calls that aren't spam that it blocks. I turned on extreme protection to block everything but the moderate protection is probably best for most people.
Yet despite all my attempts I CANNOT get this app. off my phone completely. I subscribed 8/6/2019, cancelled my subscription 8/14/2019 and it is now 1/29/2020 and still everyone in my contact list go to this horrible apps voicemail. Support can't seem to help, I have tried to deactivate my number with the links and everything and still my number is still active. I have a life altering illness and my specialist reach this voicemail.
I paid for a subscription it still doesn't give me access without going through the subscription sign up every single time to get into the account. I found the same spammers using burn numbers are blowing past this system. I do not see the value with theses bugs
Within 5 minutes of installing this app I received a call that got blocked. The blocked call went to my voicemail, so I was able to review it. The timing is very suspicious. I suspect Robokiller generated the call to make it appear to be working. During the following week I got two more blocked calls. One was from my credit union and the other from my Chiropractors office. I don't want to be losing important calls again, so I'm dumping this app. Now I need to figure out how to cancel the freetri
This app is a complete waste of money. It does NOTHING that it claims. The user has to enter a number. Even when you do it's still completely USELESS!!! It's my fault for thinking that a app like this is gonna work. I'm pretty sure they give your number to ALL telemarketing cons out there. I messed up and gave these people $20 for this worthless app. That was my mistake. This app needs to be shut down. Had it for 2 months and NOT 1 CALL BLOCKED. NOT 1 CALL BLOCKED!!!!!
Was wondering why 15+ spam calls a day were coming through, checked this app and it logged itself out; when I tried to login, it sent me to a copy of this listing saying "unavailable in your country or on your carrier", despite being installed; but you'll continue to charge for this app. Now, I have to monitor whether this will be functional, or not. Just snatched the peace of mind I had with this app; this app I exclusively subscribe to.
Blocks call but it wont pick up and do what it says it's going to do ... I've had it for years and in multiple phones they always tell me the same s*** it never gets fixed ... I use it to block calls but dont expect anything else from it
I would give it a 0 but wouldn’t let me!easy to install but to cancel is a different ball game. Have done everything but cancel my debit card to stop monthly payments. Why pay 2.99 a month for something that doesn’t work?
Same as everyone else, installed then said I installed wrong app, so I hit ok, took me back to google play store, and it said not available in my country. So I'm supposed to believe they advertise it on TV in the USA but it's not available in the USA? Oh well, uninstalled no mo ey out of my pocket.
Not impressed with it. I set it to "only allow calls on my contacts to come through" but I continue to get robocalls and spam messages. Doesn’t really do what it says it does.
I was charged 19.99 for service I'm not really seeing for a year membership, I'm not satisfied with the service yet and it has not been even 30 day trial I have received from this app and there is no way to contact anyone. So now I'll have to cancel this and more.
Does not reduce any calls calls kept coming on in Edit: Come short of only letting calls that are in my phone book come through. i was getting 800 spam and scam calls that the app would not block. this app need to be re done from the ground up and i regret paying the 99 cent fee or the use of it, wasted time and money,,,,, this has taught me read and consider the reviews more before i would wright off bad reviews as mad people or some reason.
From the youtube ad that showed this pos it says if you click on it"this service is blocked in your country or by your cell provider." Yet when I go to google play there is no such disclaimer....hence why so many people say it doesnt work because its functions are blocked. Why is the ad even on YouTube and there is no disclaimer on actual google play? Both are google products. Google sucks.
It says "good news robokiller is available on your carrier but it looks like you downloaded the wrong app" I click ok to install the "correct" one and NOTHING HAPPENS! The other app i found says it's not available for download wth is going on!?!?
Doesn't work, I read a bunch of negative reviews saying "you downloaded the wrong app......" "not supported by your carrier" and I ignored it and downloaded it anyways blah blah blah... Not surprised by the outcome, i should have listened to everyone else, straight garbage!
Downloaded it opened it. Asked to enter phone number then takes you to a subscription page. Oy reason I downloaded it was because it was supposed to be free. FTC gave the creators top prize for it.
This app took out 26 dollars and some odd change twice out of my bank account, tried to cancel.. Asked for my money back , they said since I cancelled I shouldn't be billed but I have been billed twice.. I just want my money back...
This app is blocking my contacts, and letting Robo calls though when I blocked all calling # that are NOT Contacts! The app is Dyslexic! It needs fixed why is it still letting calls though that it should be blocking? I give the app an F.
Free to install, but then it says try it free when you start the process within the app. Did not go any further to find out how much it costs after free period. Should tell you upfront!
This app works good for me I don't know why it has so many bad reviews. So far this app has blocked 219 scam callers. This app don't play. Can't no fake calls get through this app. Love it so far!!
Still got neighbor spoofing calls. Like I checked the box to stop them and they still came through. Cancelled the sub the second I realized it was pointless.
It started to work at first and then after about a week or two it stop blocking any spam calls. Worst app ever!
A not only does nothing but it's I couldn't even try to cancel my subscription as you suggested I didn't pay for it yet it's on trial I don't want it don't feel me on March 5th clearly this is the only way I can make it a point that I don't pay for something that doesn't do a damn thing sorry but I can't give you a good review
Garbage. In Seven days did not block a single annoying phonecall. This app did nothing. At all. Complete and total waste of time.
Im paying to block the annoying phone calls however this app didn't do its job so why would I paying for? I did blacklisted or blocked em, yet I'm getting the spam.
Dont bother. To try this for free, you are REQIRED to add a payment method FIRST. You can't use app unless you enter payment method.
This app does not work it's just another scam to get your money. If I could give zero stars I wo UK old I am very unsatisfied with it.
I still spam calls and I got a month free after that I cancelled and still got charge. I just want a refund cause this app really doesn't work
For anyone having problems with RoboKiller version 3.2.0 such as: not working, slow, not responding, crashing, etc. They released this older 2.2.0 version, it fixed 90% of my issues. If you search Robokiller you will see two of them one with a 3.6 rating(the newer 3.2.0 version(broken for me) and this one with a 2.7 rating(it's older and stable 2.2.0 version). It's hard to tell them apart, But this is the one that fixed nearly everything for me.
