RoboKiller - Stop Spam and Robocalls

Generally happy with it. It senses when a new caller is legit versus a scanner. There must be a massive database in the cloud. Oddly it also seems like the scammers catch on that you have it, because the number of spam calls I receive has dropped dramatically in the months since I've added it. I suspect that means that most of the calls are coming from a few spammers.

This app WILL NOT let you view the last voice mail ! I got a call from a doctor, robokiller intercepted the call, and recorded the message. I can open the message, but RoboKill immediatly scrolls the message away. I've tried everything to see this message. Contacted RoboKiller support. They said uninstall, reboot, reinstall. Did that and still can't see the message. Very frustrating. I have to rate the app a 1. This bug has effected me in a very bad way

This screens and blocks all the spam calls on my phone and is well worth having! I love it for that, however, sometimes it blocks calls on my contact list that I have repeatedly labeled as safe. That is annoying. It does notify me of every call it blocks so I can look at it and decide if it is spam.

After updating the app some features stop working. The advanced features won't activate and tells me to contact support. I learned that people was calling me and getting a busy signal when I had my Bluetooth headset turned on. Customer service doesn't have a phone number and the chat is a Bot with programmed answers not related to the problem. I emailed and got an automatic response that didn't work. Before the update this app was dynamite.

A good app but a bit sloppy. The new version already has bugs. The answer bots are outdated and only a few are clever enough to trick people. The visual voicemail setup is great. The call screening part doesn't make sense, why are there only two options, one to screen all calls is okay but the other one screens calls with the first few numbers of your phone number? That doesn't make sense telemarketers and robo calls don't use more than your area code and this also screens all local businesses.

This seems to be a newer version. The old version basically BLOCKED EVERY SINGLE CALL, except contacts. Heck a non-paid for app could've done the same job! This new version seems to let more telemarketing calls through...I get it, it's hard to distinguish a scam or legit caller. But that's why I'm paying $40/yr, damn it! I don't know what to try next, I know for a fact this newer version kinda sucks, sucks my $40, too! Oh well, guess I'll just bend over and take........

It works as advertised. (Previous comment) With the latest update I change my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars. The app requires me now to select the blocked call to find out what the number was that called and if they left a message. It was much better when I could look at a page and see the numbers and if they left a message.

You should give us the choice to enable or disable voicemail. I don't want it active and I should not have to send an email or reach out to support via chat to request it. Especially if we pay for a subscription. If you don't want to give that option to non-subscribers, I get it. You should give the option to subscribers though. It really is short-sighted of the devs to not allow that option.

Works pretty good but has recently become super problematic by continuously giving itself permission to show over other apps. Have to turn it off multiple times daily. At this point, hanging up on spam calls myself and blocking them is less annoying than having their phone app pop up on my home screen while I'm trying to work.

SCAM! and no way to contact these ppl, or get a refund! If so What is the number?? I paid for a year a while back...the app just kept acting up. Going rogue! It kept uninstalling itself! Wouldn't save Any numbers. Actually letting numbers come thru that were already blocked! Blockin ones it shouldn't..etc..I had it for like 6 months..and the place where it shows calls that it Has Blocked...was Always empty! Worthless app.(at least on my phone). This app is garbage and they should refund every1!

This is the best app on the planet! I was getting 50+ calls each day for Medicare part A and B, end of life expenses, extended car warranty... you name it, I was getting the calls. I had seriously considered having my phone number changed, but I knew they would eventually get my new number. I installed this app, and the calls immediately diminished. RoboKiller does not block calls that are in your contact list. It's the best money I have ever spent in my life!

I don't see it doing any justice for me. Plus I thought it was for spam messages also. I got 100 of those daily. Now the calls have start coming back through. I thought it was supposed to detect spam & block it but I have to enter every single number to a block list only for the same scammers to call from another number so I have to keep adding numbers. I have it set to contacts only but all kinds of numbers keep getting through so I cancelled my subscription.

Ever since their latest update, RK no longer works! Spam calls come right through, all calls are marked as voicemail even thought most of them leave no message, and worst of all, ever since Tommy departed the company, their customer service is unresponsive. This app is no longer an industry leader. I DO NOT plan to renew my yearly contract. In short, it sucks - don't buy it!

1 star rating because I have asked about reviewing the calls with answers bots, and was told that is not possible. yet I just read the app details and it states different! I am mad as hell because I subscribed to a $14.99 service in 2020. You all increased the cost to $24.99 without notifying me, and charged my payment for an UNAUTHORIZED amount. Considering you aren't providing the services advertised, I feel I am do a $10.00 credit towards my 2022 payment. I should be not be charged more than the amount I agreed to. So make the necessary corrections. And I will change my rating and even refer people to you.

Funny how when I got this app I started to receive numerous spam callers. I tested the theory by changing my number, updated the app with my new number and guess what happened. The spam callers were back immediately. This app does block calls but it also adds fake spam calls to manipulate the number of spam callers it has blocked.

it good as far as doing what it's supposed to, it's not very well formatted or easy to navigate. you can't even get off the app without closing it in your browser, SUPER ANNOYING

I'm not at all pleased with this app! I paid for a resubscription and yet the app keeps offering upgrades, I've Uninstaller and reinstalled several times but the problem persists. I may just get a refund and be done with it.

Finally an app that lives up to its name! I was getting 10 to 15 spam calls a day. Now, one might make it through the screening process. Even when that happens it rings once and robokiller takes over. I wish I found this app sooner. It's a life changer for someone gets constant calls from solicitors or scammers.

This App has eliminated all of the aggravating telemarketing and spam calls. I have peace of mind once again. It would be perfect if I could receive the same service for the aggravating texts.

DO NOT BUY this App!!! Was working for a few months fine. Then they upgraded and hasn't worked correctly since. Suppose to only let my Contacts ring thru but ALL calls come thru. Adjusted setting numerous time to no avail.

The App did not work correctly on my Samsung A21, Idk why. There was no way to do & send a bug report on my system to see what the issue was. "However I did receive a speedy hassle free refund. Thank you!" Hopefully the problem resolve itself in the future, (I would like to try it again.) I am not quite sure, but I don't think that it fully installed itself correctly. Maybe a free test run, to see if it work's on your device 1st, would be a good idea. 😁 Totally love concept.

Super disappointed with this app. I've had it for 2 weeks now. My spam calls have slowed down but the ones that I get, the app declines the call and I'm still left with robo voicemails. The app claims that the caller hung up before it could record the call, which is completely untrue bc I've gotten voicemails from each call. This app isn't doing anything that I couldn't do. Before I installed it, I was already declining calls, clearing voicemails, and blocking numbers. Not sure what I paid for.

The app has issues that doesn't seem to be being corrected by the developers. Ive used the app for the last year and have not been impressed. I tried using the app as my default phone app but basic features like putting a call on speaker and dialing out just seem to work sometimes and not others. I also tried using the voicemail but that's not reliable either. The app wants to move calls between the voicemail, calls and screened tab as if it were playing a game of keep away. Will not renew subsc

Robokiller is showing my voicemails, but when I click on one to listen to it, they disappear, and it shows me the "This is where your voicemails will go! See an example below:" over and over and I can never actually listen to my voicemails! restarted, force quitting app, reinstall...nothing works, I cannot access my voicemail. paid subscriber. Please help.

The only 2 things, spam text please help, and when I receive a call from someone I really need to talk to like my doctor it blocks them even when they are not spam, so you have to constantly go to the app to find my calls, which takes a while. Mostly spam text is what I need desperately...

I am very disappointed in this app especially for $40. a year. Block call info is not timely recorded. It is a quarter of 9 pm, and the last call blocked on que was 4pm yesterday. It is pretty good with blocking calls, however, some calls get through or others will ring quite a few times b4 robokiller gets them. Still after 3 months, it will block ones on my callers list which I specified to go through. I will give robokiller another month to get it right, if it don't, I will cancel.

I had to uninstall this app. It is WORSE THAN USELESS. First, it insists on displaying on top even though I turn it off 100+ times a day. It gives a permanent alert that a call is in progress. When it filters calls, the transcript it displays is from the PREVIOUS CALL, even if that call was days earlier! And today it started identifying every Duo call as a blocked number that called me two days ago, so that our daughter couldn't contact us! (Even after I rebooted.) DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I feel like this is bait and switch: I thought I signed up for a free 7 day trial of the premium service, so I could see how well it works. But ALL of the good features say a premium subscription is required. Then what free trial did I sign up for? If this app worked as advertised during the 7 day free trial, I'd gladly pay full price for it. Also, there's no option to select Consumer Cellular as a carrier, though I selected T-Mobile.

I have used this app for years and when I got my new phone realized how valuable it is. I recently realized my robocall was not installed on my new phone, so I fixed that. Now. I only get calls from places and people I know. And, no more annoying spam or fraud calls.

Robokiller was able to block spam calls provided I was using contacts only, and was able to block all 3 scam calls that occured within 10 minutes, however, I would prefer recording my own message or choosing from one of the presets.
