After updating my phone (Samsung Note 10+) to Android 11 , official app can not generate QRcode for router connection. on the page where it should generate the QRcode, the app says "router not connected" However, my phone is connected to the network, has IP access and can reach internet. there seems to be no fix for this. Why ?
Does not work on almost any android device. Developer seems to have ditched the product, but happy to keep selling at hundreds of pounds.
If you have issues with connecting via router (no QR code), try downloading a newer version of this app through DJI's website. The version that they have there - 1.1.8 works for me on Galaxy S21 Ultra. Edit: doesn't work after upgrading to Android 12 :(
The latest app version is not working with any of my pixel phones with Android 11. It does not detect that the phones are connected to WiFi and so does not generate a qr code.
Used the app the first time I got the robomaster together and it worked fine but then I went to use it again few days later and when I was in the Solo mode I went to the settings on the app to change the speed settings and other stuff and the app crashed every time I try to change the settings for speed and stuff every deleted the app and reinstalled it
Good app overall. Works best on a tablet, my phone screen is a little small, can't control the robot easily.
No way to use in router mode with Android 10. Just says "router not connected". Works fine in Android 8, but the phone I need to use it with is running Android 10(which has been out for months).
Great app, however, I cannot connect via a Reuter, with my pixel 5, my 5 year old tablet works. When you enter the password to generate the QR code, the password box is not there on the pixel 5. Please fix this. I can connect directly though
The app on the app store is now 2 generations of android removed from working. Works intermittently on 11 and crashes on launch on 12.
DJI Fail! You can't do anything with this app if your battery is defective, not even update your firmware if thats the issue this is a DJI Fail!! 72hr open trouble ticket and no Response $400 paper weight!
Can't update the firmware! Never controlled the robot!!! The stupid thing won't connect to WIFI. 🤬
Overall it's a nice app but lately it's been crashing via if i click the control tab on the settings
There is no reason other than greed to not put the Python SDK files on the S1.
Thanks, to the co. who made this game. Now, we can use this app instant of robot. With out buying that expensive robot.
Garbage/ will not connect to router with android.
I cant turn on the gel beads anymore otherwise its a good app that is relatively easy to use. It is a bummer that my gel bead are useless now
App works great, the S1 was easy to build. Now just looking for ways to mod it...

So amazing and crazy how cool it is to play with me a robomaster S1 it's like playing with like modern technology it's really really cool thanks Robo master or DJI we're doing this

Think it is great for ur robot and was worth getting
The controls when driving seem to be inverted, (right goes left, straight goes back). It makes it really hard to control. Otherwise a good experience.
