Great app ! Some nice extensions would be more english voices for the robot (and maybe the possibility to turn the volume up a bit more) and to allow to create zones inside rooms, because for example my desk is in my living room and I would like to be able to tell the robot to only clean that specific area without having to draw it again every time.

The pathfinding software seems to be getting worse? I love the multiple maps feature added but it seems to be getting stuck alot more in places it never did. Alot of times it will flag as stuck but all it needs to do is back straight up . . So most days it never finishes a clean without at least some help. Ill have to add more no go zones it seems for areas that it never used to have problems. It does clean great though. There is an exhaust filter that clogged up on mine I had to find myself.

Originally, I gave this 5 stars as it worked great. Since having it for a year, I've had to return to company for repair as the robot at month 6, continued to error out . They repaired and all was well. However, since the latest software updates, the robot randomly gets lost returning to dock and the self cleaning bin although sound like it's emptying, does not half the time. Therefore, have to manually empty (which defeats the point).

Nice app but UI is sometimes weird. Why is pin'n'go so far in setting? I e if I spill something, I want to be able to summon the robot fast to clean a small spot ASAP. So having that in settings doesn't make much sense. Also zone cleaning could be made easier. Instead of choosing "zones" would be nice to do that on the map immediately. Why have 3 modes instead of gestures? Just have a full map. Long click selects a room, short click puts a pin on the map for cleaning (and a button "clean spot")

Excellent Robovac, not sure how we lived without one. Of course, it doesn't do a deep vacuum and sometimes misses things but its pretty good on the regular. Though it would be great if we could choose different English speaking options, there was an update that occurred and changed the voice which is more robotic than the precious.

Excellent app, very easy to use. going forward it would be nice to have a widget so you can see the live map on your screen all the time. it would also be good if you could add an area or room to clean whilst it is already cleaning somewhere. currently you either have to stop and restart the whole clean or wait till it finishes then start the next area

I had an issue with my last phone [see below] and this app. The app worked for a long while, and then suddenly broke with an update. It was never was resolved with that phone. When I upgraded, however, my new phone has no connection issues. The app has been working well for me for the last year+ with my new phone. My old review: "That's of the latest update my S4 no longer connects to my Wi-Fi I can't set it up with my phone or my wife's phone. I even factory reset the the vacuum firmware and it's no better."

Pretty impressed with the robot vacuum cleaner. It picks up more than expected and deals with climbing on rugs, over desk and stool bases better than anticipated. The app has a lot to be desired. It does the bare basics. It could do with a load of additional features. Overall pretty impressed.

Overall a pretty solid app - bug free for the most part. Occasionally the robot will miscalculate its position and start remapping parts of the house that don't actually exist, and the app does not provide any way of reverting those changes, which requires you to delete the existing map and all of your rooms, and restart the mapping process.

I hate the new update the old one looked alot better and was easier to use since being updated the roborock has stopped twice and I haven't ever had that happen before not to mention the difference in the settings it's horribly done. Edit: it is even worse. It now runs out of charge it can't clean closely now because they've separated the settings. It gets stuck even when it's not caught anywhere. It never did this before whatever you've done undo it!!!! It's ruined an expensive machine.

Roborock S7 does not support 5GHz networks? lol Even on a 2.4GHz network the device does not connect. Transferring the info to the device works, but the last step is failing. So, the app is useless in its current state. Edit: Yes, I did read their little help section. None of the points are helping. Edit: Even using different phones, routers and Internet connections, it does not work. Useless.

Pretty stable app, no unnecessary notifications which seems to be a too much to ask with most apps lately. Easy to use and configure. I would disable the "smart" auto empty dustbin as it seems it randomly does it after finishing a small room it cleans daily, it should not do it that often, I guess it needs to consider other parameters in order to decide if it's time to empty dustbin or not. All in all, good app.

Hi, I have an s6 maxv and it just doesn't clean near the wall edges. Talking about 3-4 inches from the wall, dust remains there untouched and it is very annoying cause these are places that get a lot of dirt. This does not make sense cause the vacuum can reach those edges perfectly e.g. with spot clean. I cannot find any setting in your app that can fix this weird behavior (for example for s5 there is an option "clean edges"), please assist?

After 2022 updates roborock s7 starting cleaning process by turning around right on charging station. The only way to start cleaning without crushing dock station is return it to dock by return button and start cleaning again. I bought it in 2021 and before 2022 updates everything was working just perfect.

I Love My RoboRock!!! wow!! amazing! I actually bought one for two of my friends and then I got my neighbor to buy herself one. I clean out the dirt tray after every vacuuming because I don't like to leave the dirt in any vacuum. it works incredibly well and is very easy to use and very customizable. I can't believe how much dirt is on our floors on a daily basis.

I use S6 Pure. Great product and very nice software, but I suggest two thing that just came to my mind: 1) To protect the battery life, after a room cleaning is finished, Roborock shoul ask "go to dock or another room for cleaning?" before going to the dock. If no response from user in 30 secs, she can return the dock. 2) While multi-selected room cleanings, Roborock should clean rooms in the same order I selected. Thanks so much.

My S7 doesn't see my map correctly all of a suden, it just added extra walls and, doesn't position itself correctly. And another annoying thing is it won't get to close to the wall, in a bad sense, since it's keeping like 5 cm from the walls (furniture, doors, etc, whatever is seen as a wall), so it basically leaves a huge area, not cleaned

I think the app is a good companion to the device, which is also really good. My only complaint is that the map doesn't always partition properly. And the firmware updates don't give enough info on what was fixed or upgraded.

The app is great and bug free. I wish there was a no obstacle avoidance zone feature. as my s7 maxv gets incredibly scared of the knobs on our railing and has to slow down and mark each one. They are not an obstacle and I wish I could turn the obstacle avoidance off just in that spot.

Specific pass requirements of 12max characters is annoying (Android auto-generated pwds are longer). Please add "every X days/hours" schedule option. Pin n go should be on main screen and not nested deep in settings. Scenario: docking station is on the 1st floor, robot completes cleaning there, I bring robot to the 2nd floor and create a new map, robot finishes cleaning on the 2nd floor, then tries to find docking station, after being unable to find it for ~10 secs it removes the map. Weird

I'm sincerely impressed with the amount of features out of the box in this. There's an insane amount of customizability. It seems like every page mentions privacy at least once so at least they're thinking about it!

Solid technology. The room mapping is a bit hit and miss, which is frustrating as the defined rooms are important for specifying a zone to clean. The app it self is feature rich meeting all my needs overall.

finding dockstation is sometimes very difficult. The roborock sometimes loses orientation and makes the mirror image of the map. This makes it to clean the rooms on the opposite side of the rooms it is directed to clean.

Since the latest update, my S5 version seem to consume a lot more battery power as now a single charge is only sufficient to clean 65% of the house instead of 100% before. When the robot is running, it is noticeable that the suction power seems to run full force for 10 second before the sound indicate a drop in power for a second, after that goes back up to full power and the cycle restarts. The way the robot plans its cleaning route has worsened as the robot is doing more criss crossing than b4

I have used the Roborock vacuum for two years now. At least three times a week. Absolutely no problems. Still good suction. No problems with the battery. I haven't had to buy a new one like I did for other robot vacuums I had before. I think the Roborock vacuums are the very best out there.

Worked correctly from day 1 although there was a glitch with the hot spot. Level 3 tec support scratching their heads. Its either a faulty unit or sim, was the sim card. Now I can get some sleep as a S7 needed controls to shut off thr lights at night.

Last update was terrible idea! There is no way to disable mopping any more and do only vacuum. Even the manual says you should vacuum up to three times before vacuuming. I was missing the feature to schedule vacuum first and then mopping, but now it's even worse. One should manually detach the mop from device to do vacuum only. And the UI looks ugly with four nice icons on the first row and then empty tile on the second. Please, revert back this feature it is really helpful! And more, make a feature to schedule vacuum first and then mop in one cycle.

The experience is getting worse and worse. Regularly forgetting and missplacing the charging station on the map, without any reason. Many times just moving around to try to find the dock again. Sometimes just putting it into random rooms. Becaus my charger is under a couch, it is extra annoying.

There has been some issues recently with navigation, the robot does not find the home and gets stuck while docking even after all cleaning sensors and checking maintenance on the app. It keeps getting lost on the proper route and gets confused.

Ridiculously expensive robots. Connection issues with mesh networks. No Y-shaped mopping. No water dispensing level customization. Runs service in the background. Missing features/functionality available in iOS version. Otherwise good.
