I enjoyed the game early on, but its repetitive, and if you don't get lucky, you're required to spend money very early to progress. The game play is fun, but repetitive. Not to mention the AI is unfair, with my hours of gameplay I lost much more than I won, frustrating when it was completely out of my control. Micro-transactions are way too expensive, so I never wanted to cough any cash up for it. It's a fun game, but I'm a little unhappy with it.
The concept is amazing, the mixture of chance and strategy making for a very interesting game, and the story and comedy makes it even more compelling. The one issue is the pacing; once you get to level 6, there aren't enough evenly matched nodes (level 6) to get to level 7, so you have to preemptively play the level 7 nodes. This persists throughout the game as well, and seemingly only to promote the use of multiplayer. I feel the point of a campaign shouldn't require that. TL;DR, great game
This game is very simple to play but really awesome. It needs creativity for designing very own strategy. Perfect practice to improve strategic planning skills. The fictional story is also interesting. Easy controls but very challenging. The multiplayer mode is very cool, except for the fact that it has a really small active community. Overall, it obviously deserves max rating. Love it.
Fun idea for a game. I like the mechanics but I think the campaign could be more interesting. Descriptions on each level is a good idea but pointless when you see there're only a small number of unique enemies while the rest are all just the same blob with a blue eye. I had to stop playing because I ran out of charge after reaching level 9 and couldn't find any multiplayer matches, so I had no way of gaining charge again. The game would be 4 stars if you could wait to recharge slowly over time.
Honestly the worst multiplayer experience EVER. There appears to be nothing in place to stop new (level 1) players from being stuck playing against high level players. As you level up you can apply coins/points to certain skills to make them stronger and this means those high level players have a HUGE advantage (extra damage, block most incoming damage etc). Somehow most people I've VSed roll a 3 of a kind on their first turn too meaning they get 2 turns before I've even had one.
A lightweight fun classic. I've played it at least 5 times, but I don't like the fact that there isn't an option to upload your save to cloud or export it as a file so after downloading the game for the second time everything is lost. Everything else is very good, even the fun strategy guide included :)
Quite fun and simplistic. Takes a while to concur the world but personally that's fine. Online though is slow but I think that's due to low activity. Also some players are just dumb and spam robots all game instead of choosing individual abilities in certain situations. Although this game works off a slot machine you can just choose one of the 9 different abilities at your own will. The slot machine part just decides the effectiveness of what you choose and what else is used in combination.
Great game, with strategies changing throughout the course of the campaign as you and the enemies gain new perks and stats. However there is no option to restore purchases on a new device, so I will no longer be able to use my Lord outfit. Unfortunate, but at least I can still play it to its fullest.
How unfortunate. I played through this game before, and managed to even successfully complete it on my first try. However, the odds of the rolls are not as before, and you end up not really relying on strategy as much as in the past. So much solely involves luck now, and the AI seems to have that in abundance compared to you. Makes it almost impossible to play. Had to uninstall, despite loving it before. Someone elsr might still like it, but I definitely don't anymore.
This game overall is not a bad idea. I just hate how even on the starter levels you will lose because the AI gets convinent overpowered things whenever you start to win. I cannot speak for everyone but for me the AI is rigged and I can't get past the tutorial or the first level by doing everything I can. I know this game is about luck but I am feeling the AI is getting tons of good stuff repeadedly is not just a coinsidence. If the AI was easier to deal with, I would rate this more.
The bot slots are definitely rigged. I had only gotten to difficulty level 6, and faced a bot that had gotten upwards of 6 or 7 jackpots. I had just barely managed to defeat the hero drone it summoned, and thought I could turn the tide until in the very next turn it rolled two microwave beam jackpots, doing 40 damage directly to my mainframe and killing me instantly. So good job devs, I've only had the game for a few hours and you've already chased me off.
Very fun game. My only critic is the nuke you or the AI can use on round 20. There is no way to make the matches longer than 20 turns because of it. You could be winning, have them down to one hit. But you simply didn't realize it was turn 20. Just like that, you lose. The rest is super fun though
I'm replaying my favorite defeat the machines game again. I still love it. The music, the roll-a-dice gameplay. It's great. Hexage is the only innovative mobile game maker out there. I've played all of them. Love the story lines they put into their work. Been a fan since they dropped their first title. Love their artwork. If you like puzzle play Totemo. If you like alien space shooter play Radiant. If you like tower defense play Radiant Defense. Check out their games and support them.
Enjoyed this game a lot for its simplicity. However am completely horrified that ALL game data is lost after phone received firmware update from manufacturer. Greatly disappointed game didn't save data to Google Play account, which, in my opinion is basic for all games! While don't mind lost game progress, can't accept loss of past in-game purchases made. Developers, no interface/ button in game to restore purchases is a FATAL faux pas.
challenging at first but once you understand how the game works is pretty easy. graphics are nice, runs on potato phones, and the campaing lasts a good amount of hours, specially if you just got to the game. online doesn't seem to be working anymore sadly. i only got to play online once :c
Original idea, interesting mechanics and cool graphics. But at the end it's all the same fight. No visual changes (you and the enemy always look the same) and no difference between fights. Gets repetitive and boring really quick. Pity.
Nice, not hard at all, just have to understand the strategy. Only issue, multiplayer doesn't seems to work. Campain is nice but a bit too easy once you know how the AI plays.. May you fix the multiplayer ?
Update: The multiplayer function hasn't worked in a few weeks. A few moments after hitting the multiplayer game button, the following message appears: "Connection failed. Please make sure you are using the latest version of the game ". The last update for this game was in August 2019, so it appears network service for this game has stopped.
I've played this long ago and just stumble upon it again so I ca already say this game is fantastic. it has high replayability and can get pretty satisfying with a horse of drones, however I seem to be unable to connect to multiplayer as it give me an error to make sure my game is up to date but there are no available updates. I am using a Samsung s7 with mobile data.
Lowered score because online multiplayer hasn't been working, it just tells me there was a connection problem. It seems to have started right after the multiplayer server migration.
Good game, fun game, variety of upgrades, unfair roulette system. You can have way better strategy than the computer, be way ahead of the computer in health, units, and overall power and the unfair roulette system can undo everything in a single roll. This turns the game from a strategy game into a game of chance. Do away with the roulette system and it would be a 5 star game.
Worst game, the slots are rigged for u 2 pay2win, AI is impossible, it either gets elites or unmaker omega, and has VERY unfair advantages, this game literally is like a EA game... Pay2win. The AI barely makes it impossible 2 progress and theres so much to pay 2 fix the patches of this unsuccesful game, heres the worst part, this game would succeed immensly if it wasnt 4 pay2win. Please fix this and Robotex's weak spot.
I've played this game off and on for a few years. I keep coming back and restarting the campaign, hoping the issue has been fixed. It won't be, since the issue is, or seems to be, intentional. The first several fights are completely fair, the rollers stop honestly at set increments, even if the increments are random. Occasionally, the bot gets 3, occasionally you get 3. Then, it switches to where the bot unfairly gets several 3s in a row, giving the user no chance. This is to drive people to pay
