Rock Radio

When looking for a radio station that suited my love for Rock and Metal, it was a difficult to find something really focused on those genres. Then came along Rock Radio, and I have never looked back since. Wide variety of Rock and Metal Genres with plenty of artists across the board. Really well worth downloading if you need a radio station to scratch that Rock and Metal itch.

5 ads one of another 30 seconds long without a way to skip them and after all of them I got in the middle of a song. The ads campaign is so agressive and I don't see the difference of this app and spotify. I can't remember what ads were because let's face it, no one pays any attention but as youtube does, we should have the option to skip them. Until you will implement the option to skip them I will keep my rating as it is.

Five starts for service (variety, organization, stream quality - nice, guys! But the app crashes way too often and it keeps the phone screen on unless I manually turn it off. I don't have a HUGE problem with simply restarting the app, just gets annoying when I drive or work out. Small price to pay for truly great sounding radio!

Good app with tons of rock and metal stations. Nice interface. You can save in another page your favourite stations. It can be paused to a song so you restart where you left off. The free version does roughly 3 commercials every now and then and it may stuck and stop when the phone is closed and the app plays music but VERY rarely! Generally a good solid app :)

The best Rock collection I came across anywhere online. This app has almost all Rock generes, updates generes, categories and music on its own on a regular basis, no to minimal adds, good sound sound quality, brilliant collection and an AI built interface to provide generes specific songs. All this with non-premium membership. So all in all its a great music app.

Glad to write a review about this app. Plays most of the songs to my liking (especially 80s & 90s rock segment). Takes me back to my school days and it's so nostalgic. South Indians don't prefer this music, but only a handful know about classic rock of the 80s. Special thanks to the developer of this app!!

The best internet radio service available and the accompanying app is marvelous. Easy to use. Easy to configure. A wide variety of channels and regular shows. A must have for every music fanatic. The support and development teams are very responsive and helpful. Take advantage of the full subscription and install all related (such as RadioRunes, Digitally Imported FM, and ClassicRadio) apps for more music channels. Well worth the pesos.

Using a Samsung S8 and Pie, I couldn't update the app. So I uninstalled, reinstalled which to longer than usual but the app worked. 24 hours later I'm told there is an update for the app, but now that refuses install. One star is for the update gremlins, but ordinarily it's a great way of listening to different rock genres. I uninstalled the app and now I can't reinstall it. As suggested by Google, I'm going to uninstall Google Play Services updates and then see if that works.

Along with DI.FM, I enjoy listening to this full time. It fill nearly all hours of my day. I had it for years, finally got premium. Totally worth it! The free account is also great. Switching between players is sometimes a little buggy and starting up on Android auto could also use a bit more work. Often times when switching between DI.FM and RockRadio, the app will show as playing on Android Auto, but no sound is produced. This might just be Android auto needing more work.

It is an excellent app. The best I've found in Rock streaming. It's a pity that this App is not yet compatible with Android TV. But it works with Google Chromecast. Love it!!

The selection still surprises me to this day. The freezing seems to have stopped, but I am noticing more and more when on slower connections it takes a long time to start playing and eventually it stops, so I change channels and it usually helps.

Best ever Radio App. Well curated, great songs. It sometimes however becomes difficult to choose a station. Call me lazy. It would be great to have a general rock station which would shuffle songs from all stations.

Unbeliavable Sound Quality, Most beautiful user interface!!! I'm so in LOVE the way this amazing collection of currated rock playlists sounds, and the app is so beautiful, colorful and punchy, suits the theme of the music so well. Been listening to Original Digitally Imported since early 90s! I got all their apps, Classical, Rock(this one), Trance/Electronica which is the original DI app. I cannot IMAGINE starting my day without DI, and just few days ago, I discovered all other styles lol! TY❤️

So far, excellent. Only downside is that I had no idea my di.fm account included premium access to a rock variation of digitally imported. Makes me very happy to find this!

The app is very user friendly and it's constantly evolving for the better. RR covers all the genres of hard rock and metal out there and the curation is of high standards. Like it so much that recently became a premier customer. Keep up the good work!

Uninstalled - way too complex to allow one to enjoy the music without spending frustrating time trying to create a playlist. YouTube is the best along with Spotify.

Great app, which is severely let down by lack of integration into Android Auto. Same goes for the sister apps. I only want to use this in my car, which is totally unfeasible without Android Auto support. Here's an idea, why not add Auto support and have it as an up-sells for subscribers like myself? At the moment, I'm seriously considering cancelling my subscription, because there really is no justification for not supporting Android Auto these days. Practically all of your competitors do, so come on already!

Frequent random skips during playback. Occasionally induces ear splitting garbled feedback. This app comes to you by the makers of DI.FM and that app had the same problem for over a year now with the dev team having no intention of ever resolving this problem.

I have discovered so many great new bands through this app! Easy to use, lots of different rock genre stations to choose from. If you want to discover new bands, I highly recommend this app!

This app is what I have been dreaming about for years!!! All the best metal and rock music you could possibly wish for, categorised to help you select your favourite style. Being an old school British rock chick I love listening to the Metal channel as it plays loads of Pantera, Anthrax, Machine Head, Megadeth, Slayer.....pure heaven!!! As you can tell, I completely rate this app and say a big thank you to all involved for doing a brilliant job!!!

Great metal station. Has a different variety of metal and rock. Will think about moving to premium due to the annoying ads but it's a bit expensive, so not sure at this stage

Couldn't manage to end my trial premium subscription, it's just not possible through the app, the button 'manage subscription' just redirects me to google play settings. Got charged 69eur!!!
