Rocket Player : Music Player

Best music app i've found so i bought it, that was maybe 4 or 5 years ago and still enjoy it. Would it be possible to add a way to not display all the albums in the album's section ? i mean i have a lot of music creating a full album which only contain one song thanks to metadata. Maybe juste a case to tick "display only plural music album's" i hope it's clear enough i'm not a native English speaker great job though

Works ok. Only frustrating thing is that my songs keep having a slight pause towards the last 30 seconds of the song. As a fitness instructor, it is annoying when it does this during my classes. My participants laugh and say " Oh, I guess this song is almost over." I did contact customer service and they suggested I turn off my EQ. Sometimes it works ( but music sounds terrible/flat) and lately it doesn't seem to work anymore. Also, would like to see a search/sort for time length of songs.

Look...I really want to give these guys a better rating. However, I just don't see that I can do that. I can't get a playlist to stabilize and hold the songs I give it. The settings won't stay as assigned... neither will the album art. I like long playlists, but if I put in more than 166 songs, it just starts throwing out 1, 2, 3 or as many and wherever it chooses. It's so very frustrating!!

My personal replacement for the default media player on my Samsung since Samsung decided to stop allowing certain formats. Not a fan of ads, so bought the paid version right away, which was cheap, and it has all of the features that I'm used to having. The only thing I feel like I'm missing out on is gesture controls, moving a hand across the screen to skip the current song would be nice, but not required.

At the time of writing (May 12 2022) the gui is extremely unstable, constantly rescanning the device and crashing (though playback is still fine). This has been going on for some weeks while support says they're looking into the issue. Mind you, I've tried at least a dozen music players and this one was the clear winner so I do highly recommend it once this is fixed... but it's getting seriously annoying right now.

I actually generally like Rocket Player, but over the last month or so it's become hard to use. Whenever I open it for the first time, it almost immediately minimizes. Not sure if it's crashing or something else, but it will do this multiple times in a row until it calms down. Makes it impossible to select music until it calms down. Restarting the phone and even deleting and reinstalling the app hasn't helped. If this went away I'd be a happy user again!

An excellent player. Needed something to play FLAC files and this one does the trick nicely. Plus other features. Only thing I don't like is the full page ads that sometimes take over the screen. If I'm trying to pause the music in a hurry with my controlless headphones, a page ad definitely slows me down. Banners are fine though. Losing two stars. For compromising functionality for ad revenue.

I've been through several music players and by far Rocket Player is the most impressive, as far as being able to read different file formats such as wav, raw, mp3, and 4, and much more. I am able to input costum tags to each file, and change the theme of the entire player, and there is also a pretty large variety of add-ons available through the Playstore. So for the only complaint that I have is not having the option to exclude, or hide individual files from the Player.

So Sad...i've had Rocket Misic Player for years now. I used to love it. The ads are non intrusive, I can edit, the background is dark, etc.... Just recently it's starting to re-scan music every time I open the app. (without me setting it on that function). Plus, if I edit album art, it will update the whole album art when I do not have that funtion applied. I Do NOT want to lose qny of my music, so I must uninstall. Makes me sad. Thanks for hearing me out.

This has been my "go-to" essential music player app for nearly 10 years... I am super sad to say that I might be retiring the app soon. When I'm browsing music, the app closes randomly. When the app scans music, the app closes randomly. When I sleep my phone to play music in the background, the app closes. This is frustrating as when I first got this app, I even got the "pro" expansion that seemingly only disables ads now or something. Also, bring back auto-tag and the album art web browser...

I like the app since it allows me to play mp3 and wma files. It's easy to use and very intuitive. However, I am having an issue when I use it in android auto. I can't get google assistant to use rocket player when I use the voice commands. Not sure how to fix it. The only other complaint I have is the absence of album art. Update.. Android Auto can use rocket player. When using voice commands you have to say "using rocket player".

This is a good music player for playing your music on your phone. One major benefit is it's ability to work within Android Auto. Not all music players do that. One annoying problem is that the app is constantly searching for new songs thus wearing down the battery. There is an option in the settings menu to turn this function off, but it does not work.

Used and loved this app for many years, but since some months the app has become unusable for me. 1. The app keeps searching for new files, even though I did not add any new files and disabled the relevant search options in settings. 2. After reinstalling I can not choose directory paths anymore. There is no list to add multiple maps from. This means I can't see any of my files anymore. The app has become worthless right now, and I am searching for an alternative.

I loved this for years. Then two weeks ago it started scanning nonstop, crashing every 15 minutes like clockwork, the syncing wouldn't work, it deleted my whole music library, i reinstalled from scratch and it can't see any playlists - etc. I have been liaising with their tech 'support' the whole time. They take days to reply with no help at all. The app is unusable overnight. And they have replied to this review saying to contact support...when I said I'd already done that and they didn't help.

I've had this app for years and it was always a minimum of 4 stars, but now it's 1 simply because I can't go any lower. It doesn't even read my music folder. In fact, it isn't reading anything at all. I've tried to manual add the file path to my music folder, but even that does nothing. What good is a music player if the file manager aspect is completely broken?

I used and loved Rocket Player/Unlocker for 6-8 years. The interface and adjustability are intuitive and comprehensive. I wrote to the developers with an issue and they were prompt and responsive. I wasn't able to resolve my problem, though, which seemed due the large number (12,000) of mp3's on my phone. We couldn't fix the issue so I switched to jetaudio+; this solved the issue and has been working well for 6 months. I like Rocket better, and recommend it for normal-sized mp3 libraries.

The only mobile music player I use going on like six plus years. Has every single feature I need, the UI/UX is perfect (for me, though I'd say it's great generally as a person who works with UI/UX daily), and the cost of the full experience is dirt cheap. only issue I've faced is it doesn't handle a single FLAC album with CUE. All of my music is FLAC files but I had two albums that were combined into one file and I had to download a separate FLAC-specific app.

I'm seeimg the same ussue that a few people have written about here. Ive used this app for years and now, within the last week or 2, its closing to the background regularly. It happens when you open the app, where it just crashes within a second, and then repeats that over and over. When music is playing, it'll disapear (music keeps playimg) but you have to do a full re-open to get it back. Something is most certainly broken.

Ads, constant ads that take a second for me to pull down. Go back to banner ads that don't get in the way of using the app. Any time I minimize it's another ad Edit: ads aren't an issue on their own, but it shouldn't appear every time I minimize the app for a second nor should I need to wait for several seconds while a short vid plays. It used to be just banners which was fine but I guess money.

I miss the days when this app worked properly with my car's Bluetooth radio receiver and displayed the files and playlists that Rocket Music Player had discovered. The music library no longer shows up for some reason. I received a new Android phone redownloaded the app and that wonderful feature was gone. I don't know why. If that weren't a problem or nuisance for me, I'd give 5 stars.

Please fix! I've used this app for years with barely an issue, but since the last update it now closes on its own once I open it. The music still plays but I have to be quick when choosing a song or album. It's very annoying; Rocket Player is actually the best, but please update a fix, thank you kindly!

Best app I've seen and nothing I have found compares to it. I have been using Rocket Player for about 9 years now and the updates just keep getting better and better. If I was to choose just one thing that I would like added, it would be: when you set an alarm on your phone, you can play continuous music from the app. However, I am happy with it, so that change doesn't really bother me too much. Thank you Rocket Player!

This has been my only music player for years, I got the new s22 ultra and now like the previous woman said, it closes immediately now and keeps rescanning no matter what I do with the settings. It scans and adds like 50 copies of the same songs, and everytime I go through and delete songs it rescan and puts them back...I need this fixed. I uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue.
