Flaky sign on process...not acceptable for a security app. I see everyone has the same issue where it wont let you sign in, even with Remember me and with correct credentials. Its been this way for years and many people provide the same feedback. What is the barrier to fixing it? I do not have this issue with any other app and they are not essential to manage security, see who is at the door or control the temerature in your house. Not an acceptable level of service. 7 months later no change
The app consistently doesn't work. I have had Rogers security system for 1 month and the app is horrible, I have had issues signing in on numerous occasions, and I have had to uninstall and re-install the app 6 times, I have called Rogers 4 times in 30 days to resolve the issue, and it just keeps happening. I appreciate the great customer service and trying to resolve the issue, but the app needs serious work and upgrades, not reliable for a security system.
I am clearly connected to WiFi and get errors and can not log into the app... Disappointed, can you fix this issue sometime this millennium. No power savers used! Not a amateur at android and definitely an app glitch it that doesn't detect network randomly.
When I tap on the camera display on the home page, the app crashes when selecting"live". This happens on our 2 android phones. I've cleared the cache and reinstalled from scratch. The problem still persists.
Always have trouble logining in. But then I try to login and the button doesn't work so sometimes I get stuck and cannot check the status. The demo button works but why do we even need that? For a huge company it's surprising the app is not the greatest. I'll change my review if they improve this.
Constantly logs me out even though I clicked remember me. It's very frustrating to have to log back in at the most pivotal moments such as disarming or arming the system.
The app is so laggy and needs a major revision. The app is so dated, and doesnt have an appealing interface. Most of all,the app sometimes will not log you in when it is so much needed,very frustrating. One more thing,your smart scenes cannot unlock a door when you set a scene when arriving. A simple thing your developer wasnt able to think about.
This app is awful. It glitches daily. Signing with biomentrics rarely works. Signing in with your user name and pasword rarely works. Both methods just return you to sign in screen repeatedly. If you are lucky enough to get in, the app lags. You are not able to view your cameras because you are stuck in an endless processing loop. This app needs a major overhaul but as you can see from other users describing the same issues, nothing is being done and it has been like this for over a year.
I am, like others, having huge issues with the app. When I tap on sign in, it does nothing. I close the app and restart it. It does the same thing. Fix the glitches. This issue is self-explanatory... summary. When I activate the app and click on 'Sign in', it does nothing. Addendum: I just uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. I got past the sign in page where I enter my username and id. However, it now just keep loading.... FIX IT!
It is a terrible app....often doesn't work. Rogers asked me to elaborate on my initial comment so here is a list of issues: -the app should allow you to just keep it open. Perhaps you could argue that for security reasons, that this is not an option. So allowing biometrics to sign in would expedite the access. That does not often work so you have to sign in.... -often the app will not let you sign in, even if you ask it to remember you. It gets into a loop asking repeatedly for sign in credentials. I have had to sign in multiple times to get access and often just give up and go to another device -when you adjust something on the app (temperature for instance) it tells you the command could not be completed -it is very slow
Tried to login to the app for 2 days straight but it won't log me in. I tried to access my account online and it says that the services are terminated (my billlling and payments are up to date). To top it off, the appliances have started falling apart. Never had any issues in the previous house related to the installation.. very disappointed.
App constantly signs you out after viewing anything in it. Currently, app just loops to sign in screen over and over. Completely broken. Still broken as of March 17, 2022. Over 2 years. If you are just buying this service. Cancel immediately. 2 years.....
Continually takes me to the web page to log in opposed to the remember feature on the app, always erases my log info, shuts down randomly and often takes a long time to load.
Unstable sign in still ongoing. You sign in and it circles back to log on page over and over. I should be able to access my security system without multiple sign ins.
Like everything else from Rogers, if it works, it's okay. Unfortunately, the app does not. I have to restart my phone several times a DAY, i.e. every time I want to use it, to get connected. That doesn't always work, so I have to uninstall and reinstall the app. As well, I have had issues with my cameras losing connection and have had to have a technician to my house twice in under two months. I'd like to see who's at my door without having to wait several minutes to restart my phone. The ap sux
Unbelievably poor app that doesn't function at all most of the time. The camera continuously buffers so by the time you actually want to see what's going on outside, it's too late. Like many others have stated in their reviews, this sad excuse of an app barely functions and constantly experiences major glitches. For a security app that's supposed to provide remote access to managing your home, it literally does the opposite. I am forced to re-install it several times each day just to get it open
the app is complete garbage and the system isnt much better. Have had the app just randomly start dinging at 2, 3, 4 am and waking me for no reason and all Rogers says is to uninstall and reinstall. The system isnt impressive in the slightest. Our panel had to be replaced 3 times in the first few months. We have had several service calls but nothing works right. Cameras haven't worked in about 3 months now. As soon as my contract is up this system is in the trash where it belongs.
Before the most recent update, I had no issues with the app. Now, I have been randomly signed out and I can no longer sign in. I'm stuck on the sign in screen with The sign in button doing nothing no matter how many times I click it. I've tried clearing the cache as well as the data in the app to no avail. I even went as far as uninstalling and reinstalling the app but not even this fixed the app. Luckily I linked my account to my Google homes so I am still able to remotely control items.
Ever since the last update, not only does it sign me out almost every time I close it. I also have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling because it stops working and won't let me sign in. One time it happened my alarm was going off when I was not home and I was trying to check the cameras but the app just stopped working. It would not let me sign in at all. It took me over 10 minutes before I could get back into it and by that time the alarm had timed out.
Terrible experience. I intalled the system yesterday and downloaded the app. It worked well during the test. However, later that day, I tried hundreds of times signing in but always being told "There has been an issue on your account". I dont know what it means as I can log in on my laptop. This app is so stupid. Considering to cancel the service.
The app is very slow to load. The camera function will buffer and never show the camera. The app always logs me out, which then adds even more time to see anything on the app. For example, the doorbell rings, I need to log back in and wait for the camera feature to load and buffer, and in that time, the person at the door has left.
App was too slow, hardly ever used after installing. Revisiting after over 6 months, surprisingly found out that functionality was gone for my device. The app just stops when opening, giving the message that a new version update is required. However, the new version is not compatible with the device. Crazy! No tears shed for when worked was ridiculously slow, so hardly used.
I've had consistent problems with it constantly failing to accept my fingerprint and then automatically kicking me into the manual sign in mode. This happened often in the past. But this week, it's been unbearable. I"d manually log in but it would keep bringing me back to the sign in page... Like 10-20 times. I know the recent one is a known issue but these problems existed before. Such a critical app for your home security but it functions like something a 2 year old coded. Needs major update!
2yrs...one problem after another. Now and then I won't be able to login from phone app. Says I don't have an account sometimes but if I try to reset password it can find my username and email address fine. Just not receiving the verification code they keep saying was sent so I can reset password. Other times it'll say there's no internet connection even my other apps requiring a connection works fine. Extremely frustrating. Why can't they get it together so I can use the system remotely?!!
