In the beginning I was quite surprised of how useful the app was. I was not expecting such functionality. Now I can no longer connect to the vacuum cleaner probably due to the new firmware. I am balancing whether to return the device or ditch the app 🤔 Update: there is absolutely no support from manufacturer. It'sike talking to bots. Rubbish products

The app was awkward to set up but appears to be functioning correctly now. Translation and presentation are decent, though not perfect, and most menus are laid out in a familiar fashion. I've also yet to encounter any bugs, unless you count the robot itself getting confounded by certain obstacles and needing to be repositioned. I'm actually, overall, quite impressed so far, though, and only expect the software to improve with time.

Map layouts keep getting corrupted every few days and after every update, it's so dumb and annoying. I wish there was some way to lock a map layout, since it's really annoying when the robot vacuum thinks it can't reach a room just because last time it cleaned it saw the door was closed. It should at least TRY to go back there so it can see the door is open again, or like I said, allow us to lock the map. There is also a bug where any floor map apart from the first one doesnt save any map edits.

THE worst piece if garbage known to man. The hardware is kinda okay, but the software is bottom of the barrel trash. Sharing or syncing with more than one mobile is often impossible, some mobiles don't have the option to share, for some inexplicable reason, but even more troublesome, some mobiles don't have the option to update the firmware... But the one feature that makes this "robot" not worth even 50$ is the complete and utter INABILITY TO FIND THE CHARGING STATION making it USELESS!

Won't save edits to maps. In a multi-storey house, I created multiple floor maps and saved them. When editing partitions on the saved maps, all changes are lost on map switching. There isn't a save/update button and auto-save doesn't happen either. As soon as you switch to another map, your changes are gone.

Not bad but the highlighting of partition to clean can be improved. The slightly darker shade of the swlected area is difficult to differentiate with non selected. Use hatch line to indicate selected instead.

Very bad after the forced update. Now i have a superimposed map on top of the map that was already programed, which will cause it to clean my apartment 2x. Did a reinstallation of app, and now it cannot even detect the vacuum cleaner. I even tried shutting down and powering up the cleaner and station. Nothing worked. Very bad.

Overall works well, but if the vacuum gets lost it deletes my map even if I saved it, so I cannot restore the map. Please introduce a fix so that my saved maps are not deleted automatically.

Couldn't connect to the device, fails in binding (only passes first 2 connection steps). Could how ever connect using another app. I really hope this gets fixed as the other app is a pain.

First time use, it already crashed. The apps is hard to navigate. Instead of showing a large picture of the vacuum in the main app page, maybe it can be change to show useful stuff like battery remaining or other thing. Important information are hide behind several step which make this app inconvenience. I hope it can be improve in the future.

This new app is very bad. Not intuitive interface and not correct visible information. Everything is hard to find. Old app was better. Or at least I recommend developers to introduce a better interface. What about that instead of giant cleaner image you put there relevant device information or it's controls. Not dig them somewhere deep in setings

I take it back the Roidmi S1 Special is the *worst* vacuum cleaner I've ever had. No suction. Awful battery. Doesn't sync with this app. I'm returning it. Buyer beware!!

Stupid app ! My map disappeared suddenly ! Created a account with password but force user sign in with email security code , the "other sign in method"didn't work either ! Lousy company !

It was working fine until recent upgrade in Oct-2021. Now Roidmi map becomes a mess and it keep reset the map and no longer can do proper cleaning! ! Also cannot find way back home to recharge! Didn't you all test before release to public?! What a low level mistake!! Please revert to previous working version immediately!!!

Regular cleaning can only work for current map. I want it to work for one of my saved map, which is not current

App keep losing the map and always keeps forgetting this device. Evade this product at all cost.

Initial setup with my roidmi eve vacuum robot very problematic. Ui design and navigation confusing and not intuitive at all. All is working decently until you have multiple maps. The maps got deleted and you have to setup the maps from scratch again. Verdict: Roidmi should fire the app developers and get new competent people.

This app is not working. Cannot connect to the device. Everything goes good until it cames to binding. And that's it. The funny thing is that everything was ok at the begining and than suddently the device disappeared from the app and wouldn't come back. It's a shame.

Everything is working as expected, the application is working fine, I can access my device - Roidmi F8 - and set different settings for the cleaner. I've just set it to higher power - 130W. Im from Europe, but I chose Other, and app works - a hint for those complaning below ;)

Your app is not working properly, and my Roidmi eve plus is getting lost and confused. Please fix this app because since your update this device is not usable and can be put in the bin Eve plus device is spinning in circles, weting the floor, hits into everything, clean in once place and doesn't do the rest. I leave my house and return 30 min later and it's still in the same spot as I left 30 min ago. Ridiculous!!!

All good. Connection for the 1st time might be annoying, but you need to remember that you have to be on 2.4ghz wifi network on all devices that will use the vacuum. Do not blame app developers for issues with your own home network.

Full of bugs. After some trial and error I was actually able to connect my Roidmi EVE Plus and it worked fine for a few hours...then it simply cleared everything and cannot see my vacuum anymore... Very frustrating.

How do you even sign up in the login page? I selected my region as other, then typed in an email for them to send a verification code. However I'm prompted to "Pls enter email". Totally garbage. Edit: Finally got it to work. Apparently I can't use Yahoo mail to register but my Gmail works. Yes, I'm one of those who still uses Yahoo mail, but it wasn't mentioned anywhere that Yahoo mail won't work. It's a great app.

Roidmi eve plus app after the update can only store up to 3 maps (instead of the usual up to 5maps) and no go zone, virtual wall, merge or amend of map, all cannot save in the maps. You have to add no go zone, virtual wall or even merge rooms EVERYTIME u clean. Kindly rectify ASAP.

Lost all my maps and settings. Lost connection to device and had to hard reset.

The app used to be perfect. However recently i am unable to access the cleaning records, just a pop up message stating "network request failed error code: 055". Any idea? The other functions are still working well though.

Can't add my device, due to error -1 "bring your device closer to the vacuum cleaner". Even if my cellphone is resting next to it, English interfaces are not in proper English and the read/write/delete permissions to storage are a bit abusive to say the least..? Meh, I'll live without it!
