This is a great application for a great product. The ihome 3 is a peephole door camera. The pir is extremely reliable, I have had no false alarms ever! It calls me within 6-7 seconds of someone arriving at more door. The audio is really good, I can talk to the person at door and they can understand me perfectly. The unit starts shooting video and pics quickly. I have never had any issues with the software or the ihome3 product. The only bad thing is Rollup app only uses one server and it can go down for a day or two which means your application will not allow you to get push notifications or live video while the server is down! Why would a company not have multiple servers or at the very least a backup to give there customers the best possible up time? If it wasn't for that I would say this is one of the best door security products out there! But since it can randomly go down, I have to have a backup camera which is the Hikvision cube camera 4mp, it never ever had any down time. It had all the features of my ihome3 but the door bell. So when my ihome3 server is down, I have my backup camera that can see and talk with guests at my door. I feel I have the best of both worlds now but really hope the rollup company adds some better or some backup servers!
Initial bought functioning well but months n after upgrade version sometimes cannot log in and need to off power to reboot. Very troublesome unable to do detaction on app

For a while my phone would bind with the app, created a new account and it works now. Finally. Using Ihome8 customer support not existent. The charge port on my Ihome 3 and 8 both broke. Need to find spare batteries
Update this stupid app. The peephole ringing you touch green call than call closed directly and no more connection with doorviewer unless you go home and restart device no app for ihome 8 !!!
Nice app. Offline problems finally have been solved with latest firmware. As of version 2.1.5 I would recommend this app as being sufficiently stable and functional. Interesting addition to home security.
Devices goes off frequently although conected to power source
All in all the idea is great. Device itself is nice, but why is it deleting photos older than 3 days? Memory is sufficient, but it still happens. Recording video from mobile app is not working - video is not saved. Also video translation server goes down very often.
Terrible software, primitive, unreliable, limited. It blocks other apps since it is an iHome 3 and I bought the iHome 4. It requires constant resets of both the peephole and the phone. Obviously, they haven't worked at the improvement of the assistance service but there is no choice for the iHome 4, unless you buy another device.
Connection to my door viewer no longer available. I have been using iHome3 since Aug 2017 without issue but since May 19 the App no longer connectable with my iHome3. Redo device binding had also took endless time and failed. Feedback via Rolleup app also no one reply to me. It is quite dissappointed at all.
