My absolute favourite app. Please make some more expansions for the Total War series. There's quite a few historical figures to base a scenario on. I've just finished the Alexander Campaign and that's it, no "would you like to continue". I tried every option but it just ends with a cut scene narrated by Brian Blessed and I can only return to my last battle. I had unfinished business in the North so I feel a little short changed.
The addon is a nice concept, but it is a little unplayable for me. If I touch the screen, i skip all the way across the map and it is almost impossible to play sometimes. I paid $5 for an addon where I can only play as one faction and I cant even play that because the controls are extremely sensitive and they cant be adjusted. In the main game and Barbarian expansion, the game plays just fine. Maybe this one needs a controls update to fix sensitivity.
Yet again, another wonderful port from the Total War Series. They really did make this specifically for androids; it has a perfect touch screen feel to it, it plays easy and performs well on my S10+ with minimal lag when doing 3x speed. Only thing I would like to see added in is letting you continue after you have failed the campaign, and possibly even letting you try out other factions as you can in previous series.
An issue with hoplite path finding. I know from the PC game that if you manually set the position and line size of a hoplite unit the soldiers on the left will go to the right and vice versa instead of just moving to the new position, but for some reason the whole unit seems to want to go somewhere else. Like if I go to correct their position in front of a gate they'll want to go in the opposite direction for a bit and then come back. Some don't even come back.
I played all the Rome total war games when they first came out on PC 20 years ago. They were my favorite war game to play then and now they are again. Almost all of the functionality that was available on the PC versions are available on the mobile apps and I am hooked again. Thank you so much to the developers that took the time and coverted these all time favorites over so that I may enjoy them again!
I finally finished this game after playing on and off for months. The initial challenge is quite hectic and fun but there virtually no replayability. Well worth the money and I'd recommend it.
Nice story telling elements but it could have been taken further especially since you are restricted to one faction and the plagthrough is relatively short with no option to keep going after capturing 3o settlements. Still nice to have more TW on android. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. medieval 2 TW next ;) :)
Hey there. I have The other two installments in Rome total war and barbarian invasion. No issues at all.. But this installment I can't download it. I do not know why. I have tried restarting my phone, tried clearing the cache etc etc and nothing works. Really want to play this installment. Any ideas on how to solve this?
Like all your ports! Absolutely brilliant. Until you get Midway through campaign and it's impossible to take another turn without it crashing. Fix this on your games and I'll rate 5 stars. But so far im very dissapointed
Its good experience however I'd like some more content more campaigns be able to build the Persian empire or put india part of the game. More map space i get its the Alexander campaign but I don't think it was worth the $5 I beat the game in under 24 hrs. Also id love if you added some of the troops from this game to Rome total war mobile. I loved the short spear units. There was just so much more potential for this game. Also it would be awsome when you finish the game move into world dominate
Wish it had more playable factions in the campaign. And alexander mission was very rushed. Needs free play and more freedom in the campaign. Huge fan of the series. I have all 3 on my phone. Need Medieval Total War next
Another TW port from Feral and another instant buy for me. Guys, you are great - please keep doing what you are doing! While this expansion might not be as feature rich as the original Rome TW or BI expansion, it is still worth playing and is a fresh experience for a seasoned TW player. If you never played a Rome TW game before, I would suggest that you leave Alexander alone for now and then come back later to be able to fully appreciate it!
Just beat the campaign, only thing is you cant get to the last Persian city (Taxila) there is absolutely no way to cross the river. I've never played this expansion before and I very much so enjoyed it. Wish you could play as the Persians and do exactly as they wanted to and take over the known world.
I really like the game Total war since from the time in pc this one is good but I'm Little bit discourage about this game and it is not optimise properly because whenever I log in to play a game it need a stable network connection and overall i have paid and purchase for this game i hope and believe that our developers with see on to this matter soon thanks 👍🏻
Uh, is this the best ending of the game you could come up with? I used the cheats to end the game. Glad I did not play it for weeks to get a VERY underwhelming ending as my reward. It is not as bad as Game of Thrones poorly scripted writing to end that awesome show but how you ended this game once I conquered the 30 provinces was "cut from the cloth" of the GOT bad writing to end that show. I will request a refund. Why would I play it again? Bored playing it.
this is good game i never seen such alike game in my life experience but if we conquer its one time then we have to start it again you must have to update it and open new versions i mean open the conquest of india THANK YOU
Good game I wish we can get something more modern ranging from WW2-Current with all the super powers and armies. Also add some gore to the game it's kinda bland with out it.
It's an awesome game and the controls are kinda confusing but over time it gets easier, the story is cool however the armies are limited but I understand why.
A truly great version of Total War but I would have to agree with the idea of being able to play other factions would make this game all the more greater.
Its a true pc adaptation to android and plays the same as pc version if you love non p2p historical empire building turn based games the total war game conversion is outstanding and for 5 dollars its a bargain. Great job !
Won't run on a Note 20 Ultra 5G even though the specs are more than enough, needs an update and would like a refund. Shame as the Total War series are all excellent. Would love to see Empire on mobile.
Another master piece but the only problem is the custom formation, when I form them up to my formation and move to meet the enemy sometimes ( not all ) they reset to single line which also in the heat of battle is costly the whole formation collapses please fix
Hi Developers, like many peers me myself included love the game itself but the game seriously need to fix it's constant crashing during the game.
Worst Dlc ever ported and a waste of money. The controls skip all over the board, the camera is in a fixed above view mode, and the campaign is limited to one faction and at that the units are the worst I have ever experienced.
I love anything made by total war. I play this on a Note 20 Ultra, which means i can use a stylus to control everything. Can't imagine how annoying it would be using my fingers.
Another solid port from pc. Given the current state of mobile gaming garbage, bringing the total war series to mobile is like a gaming dream come true. Really hoping for medieval 2 in the future.
Amazing game. I've been playing total war games since Rome Total War came out in 2003 and this game is just like it. However: 1. IA does a terrible job managing your cities and policies. 2. I didn't finish the campaign in the specific turns (which I never knew I had) and then out of nowhere it shows you a message saying YOU LOST. It doesn't even give you the option to continue the campaign. You have to start all over again YOU SERIOUS? Great game but it's a play one time and delete.
