Before the pandemic, this was my favorite app for traveling. I could create complete itineraries and had a good overview of costs. I am really sorry to see they had a redesign and got rid of the useful and unique features they had, including the multiple stop journey. In short, from a 5-star app it became a trash copy of other apps. I am really disappointed.

I don't drive, so planning my trips is a regular part of life. Rome2rio provides maps & optional methods of transportation (bus, drive, taxi, walk, etc) along with the estimated costs of those methods. Rome2rio has saved me a great deal of time by not having to go to multiple apps to gather the info I need, to ensure an accurate, well informed trip.

Absolutely cool tool for travellers unfamiliar with where they are as long as you have connection! Directs you to your destination with multiple travel options. The one annoying thing, especially when you don't remember what you need to type for your destination by heart, is that it doesn't keep the current destination in the entry block so you can just modify it...better put the address into a note and cut and paste into this app. Love the app otherwise though!

This App is one of the most useful apps for traveling. It is easy to find out the easiest and cheapest way to from one point to another one. I also love that the team response to a lot of reviews to improve the app. My suggestion is that the user can input some informations. Usually the routes are 100% correct but the price and the schedules are a bit different. So it would be nice if the user can share his price experiences so that everyone else could see the right price for the next time.

I use the website often to plan trips in advance. When I saw that app was available, I thought oh cool. But sadly it's nothing but problems. When I try and search, I get an error stating that "there was an error finding routes, check your internet connection and try again." Of course, I can access it just fine with a browser from my phone. So it seems like a good idea, but doesn't work for me.

Love this app, never had any problems and the details for onward travel have been amazing. It's taken me all over the world, using it locally in the UK, bus rides through Asia and Australia and have train plans next month in Europe. Features include walking directions between stations etc, approx price of fares, can filter the dates and times required and can link to buying tickets (although never used this option so can't comment.) Have recommended to many travellers along my journeys.

Walk, drive, bus, taxi? Ask Rome2Rio.This app is an absolute must for travellers! Makes trip planning a breeze. You can can quickly and easily view distances, route options, transportation modes, and costs. Love it and highly recommend! Oh, and it's great for use at home as well!

I rarely rate apps, but this app has been invaluable to me. I've traveled the world to places where I haven't had much access to information on how to get around, but this app has surprised me with it's accuracy. I use it anytime I go anywhere now as it always manages to find all the possible routes I could take and the cheapest. I'd recommend downloading it and trying it in your local area that you know to see how it finds all the right routes, it might even find one you didn't know about.

This application is perhaps the best for trip planning when using train and bus. This is far better and easier to read than Google's map, which has so much clutter to begin with. I highly recommend this software. The one problem this has is it doesn't link to saved searches done on another computer!

The perfect app for travelers! I have been using it in Portugal and it hasnt failed me once. It even pulls the schedules of the public transportation if they are available. Slight fix maybe: sometimes I am not able to open the map. Other than that everything works perfectly.

Covers places Google Maps doesn't e.g. Mexico. Gives up to date price estimates for taxis etc. Sometimes missing some available transport links. Doesn't show clearly where you have to go to catch a bus and no moving dot to navigate. I have to look for landmarks around the departure point in Rome to Rio and then switch to Google Maps to navigate there. I would like an option for avoiding crossing international borders as sometimes I don't have a visa to be able to take the route it wants me to

I love that this app not only gives you various public transport options but also gives you the approximate price range of each option. It would be good if it also gave the times in the summary as well, but it's easy enough to find them out (a few clicks) Thanks!

I used this app in the usa for the first time and it's a brilliant app. It helps you navigate from point a to point b giving you several options to commute. At the same time, it also allows you to filter your prefferred dates and even the timings too. I don't think any person could help me as much as this app. I give it a 5 super star rating. An absolute must dowload specially if you are new to a country.

Used the App in Singapore and Bali. In Singapore it provided accurate routes using the underground and bus systems, I was really impressed as it also guided us to the exact bus stop or MRT station. In Bali, I used it to search for nearby attractions in order to plan day trips. Again, I was not disappointed, it made life much easier navigating around unknown countries. Would highly recommend.

Never reviewed an app before, but I will for this app. And it doesn't cost anything!! Got this when I moved to Europe for a few years traveling from Australia. And this app is the best thing I could have got. It will seriously get you anywhere. Given myself and groups ways on buses/trams and underground we didn't even know we're there. Any capital city it will help you map out the underground as well and tell you where to go, same as buses to and from the airport. Must have for traveling.

Terrible. Often the bus routes are very wrong. Esteli, Nicaragua to Tegucigalpa Honduras for example. Hilarious!! The times and prices are also often inaccurate. Wikitravel is far more helpful.

Great app for international travel! It will help get me all the way from my house to a hotel in Timbuktu! I often use Google maps but it will often tell me there is no way to get from here to there. Rome2Rio will tell every step of the way including timetables for buses, subways, etc.

Finally what I wanted, just "what bus routes exist". No having to put in a date for the trip, it wasn't a non functional app (looking at you "Vision Route Planner"), just a simple, easy to use interface which gave me the exact info I needed to get my buddy home, thank you all. My go to for travel suggestions. I found Amtrak from Tampa to West Palm Beach on Rome2Rio. Had no idea there was a route between the cities. Found Shuttles in Europe. The list goes on.

Loses 1 star as its good but be very careful - double check elsewhere - as often inaccurate. It also almost loses a second star as, for some reason, it dropped the ability to let you travel from 1 place to the next followed by a 3rd, 4th, 5th... destination - this was very useful for wandering around multiple places/countries. Now you go from A to B and no further.

A really horrible app. A little less awful than Wanderu, but still pretty bad. Once you select your route and mode, it doesn't let you see any schedules.

This app is the best!! You can literally find out how to get from any point A to any point B. Also gives multiple choices and links if you want to go immediately. It's super user friendly. I'm an older person who isn't that tech savy and I use this app all the time.

A great app. This is a long established planet that Simply works. The only improvement I would like to see is more waking options. Sometimes, it is quicker to walk for 3 miles than wait for an infrequent bus or train. Maybe able the user to set maximum waking distance?

Very useful travel app, easy to use. Obviously can't give you absolutely everything to 100% accuracy but it's great for plannibg journeys and gives you different options

This is a fantastic app! Just plug in two different destinations and it will let you know how long it would take to get there by train plane, car or foot! It tells you what times the trains are leaving and at what intervals. It made traveling around Italy simple.

Wish I had this app earlier. Worked in Asia, Europe, and North America. Finds all ways to travel between two points. Links to ticket sources and shows all options. Awesome! Was accurate regarding train schedules across Japan, and explained options going from London to Paris. Recommended

The best thing about the desktop version of Rome2Rio is that it makes it very easy to plan a multi stop trip, add and remove stops, switch the order etc. The app only seems to have a one stop option. It's a shame.

Rome2rio was my saviour in Malysia and Singapore trip, roamed everywhere in Singapore using Metro and Bus. This app showed the exact metro line to take, each stops till the destination and also exact bus stop to reach the destination. Also this app gives the recommended, cheapest and fastest way to reach the place.

I love it how you can use this app universally in almost every place in the world and it always tells u precisely about for example bus plans that would be very difficult to find or access without the app. One of the few apps I actually really appreciate having on my phone! :)
