The default store in Bainbridge Ohio isn't available as a selection when creating an account through the app. I still can't set any store as the default in the app, let alone the store I want. Every time I have to choose the default store because no store is my default. If you navigate away to do anything else, like check a text message during your order, it goes back to the login page and you start all over. Great pizza!
Easy to use, no issues ordering it finding what we'd like to order. The coupon code area is not in the checkout screen so had to go out then back in to order. Food images are included so you can see what you're ordering especially if you don't recognize the name of an item. Food order are customizable which is great if you don't like certain ingredients, is easy to get rid of and add what you want.
They have a few bugs with the app that needs fixed. When I enter my credit card info to pay, if the expiration date month (not year) is prior to the current month, it won't let me choose the expiration date month. I ended up using another card or I could have just paid at the restaurant. Sometimes your order doesn't reflect the correct price of their deals/coupons. Example is the X-Large for 13.99 where the actual price is 50 cents more. But other than that, great app and excellent pizza!!
The food is absolutely incredible, but the app is horribly buggy. Slow. Doesn't save cards, you have to put in your information with every use. More often than not it declines my card because the app refuses to allow the month to be set for expiration date. More than once when I try to look at the cart and go back, it'll make me restart the entire order.
2/19/21 - Still the same complaint about the coupons as in 2018. That tells me you guys aren't listening! This app is straight forward and easy to use. The only thing that bugs me is that it doesn't have the same coupons on it that the website does. Super annoying since you can't log in on the website and get points like with other pizza places. Also add pizza size in inches, calories, and nutrition information.
It's very easy to order and confirmation email is quickly sent however, I can not find a "ready" time in either the app or email. It's not very helpful to order a pizza and then have no idea when to pick it up. So, I either stand and wait or the pizza sits on the rack gettiing cold. Just doesn't make sense. Pizza is great just don't know when it's ready! My local store is very friends and I have had great interactions with them!
Food is incredible and that comes first. I would give the pizza a 6 out of 5, but the app needs a little work. Doesnt save cards for future use, and general layout and selection is kind of confusing and takes some training to get used to. Luckily I order from Romeo's basically every day, so I have become familiarized...but it's not the Uber app. That should be the standard.
Relatively simple design, pretty easy & straightforward... A little confusing the first time I used it w/choosing extra cheese... You have to choose cheese in 2 places, & when you choose, you have to choose regular cheese first, then also choose extra at "lite" "normal" "2x" & "3x", so a bit confusing, but quickly figured out.
Perfect app for placing you order. Everything is seamless, menu is separated in categories, and the app is easier to use than the website to order. Its nearly 2020. What are you doing talking to people if you don't have to. It's not going to have any long term negative effects on mankind, right?!?!... Great work with app developing Romeos. The app is nearly as good as your pizza sauce!
Pretty easy to use. Needs to save order when leaving screen & coming back. Besides that pretty cool app. I wish it had the coupons on the home screen but it does not make sure you take some time to look them up. Cheers!
No issues for a long time but for the last year or so the app crashes if I try to paste my email or password into the login fields from my phone's saved login cash. Today is the first time since I first noticed the problem, that bothered to manually type out my email and password. Frankly it's just easier to order from somewhere else, or call in my order. If your app isn't convenient it's useless 🤷♂️. Fix yourself.
I ordered online and received a confirmation email. However, the wording was confusing and led me to believe I needed to contact the location. How about a simple date and time confirmation? It was also difficult to understand how to enter the coupon code - Why don't you just have a "specials" or "promo" tab? And after I put 1 coupon item in my cart, I wasn't directed to the full menu! So much needs to be improved!
App sucks on a Pixel 2 phone. The submit option doesn't show so I had to keep trying to create an account and then submit an order. Spent over 1/2 hour punching around. Still have no idea what finally got my info added. VERY FRUSTRATING!
Half the time it takes five or more tries to get payments to actually go through. the 32 character limit on special instructions for delivery is insane you can hardly say anything. I tried putting my new phone number and the last house before the railroad tracks and it kept denying it until I put NP# number without area code and last house b4 tracks which is insane. Your food is great but your app sucks.
It used to work fine, however the app stopped working properly around May 2018. It will not allow you to enter coupon codes. If you put in a specific code, it will give you something else. Also when you try to submit your order, you get an error message. The app also doesn't have the pizza of the month updated on it. 👎🏾
I was able to order but there was no place to put in a coupon code. The toppings screen was confusing with well done and lite done as toppings choices when that was already chosen in a different screen. There isn't a link for customer service in the app or a choice to call the store.
I had to fight with it to take coupons as the app stated that the coupon didn't exist! After 3 tries by 2 people , we finally got a coupon to go through! It has happened before in previous app updates , hopefully not any more!
It's confusing if you have to pay for cheese or not and they need to add options like 1toping and ask what you want and it should be that set price not adding for the toppings they offer. They only have specialty pizzas as an option. It was ok, but confusing. I rather call in.
Needs a coupon code option on the checkout screen. It's confusing to have to go back to the order screen to add a coupon. And it won't let you put in the code until you have that amount in the "cart". Otherwise, it works great!
Love Romeos food but hate the app. Does not keep you signed in during purchase. If you hit the back arrow it takes you out of the app and you have to start all over. When I started.over, I forgot to add my rewards! Bummer!!!
Little frustrated that I had to go back to my profile to update a phone number. Then redo my order over and over. Love Romeos but this app is a little frustrating. Oh and instead of having an option to use rewards or coupon is not on payment page so if you didnt see it you have to go back and Yep, insert all the payment information AGAIN. Took way to long
I have difficulty ordering from this app. I sometimes have to call the restaurant and place my order that way. I was unable to add to my order today and just repeated an old order. Edit: i think the app has improved since last time. Much smoother ordering.
Food is great. App is terrible. Doesn't save info, can't review order after it's placed, doesn't say even an approximate ready time, no tracker. Once you submit the order, it just disappears without even a confirmation number so you know it was recieved.
Does not recognize my address half of the time, does not let you select half the items on the menu (if they even display correctly), and checkout frequently bugs out saying no payment method selected after manually entering card info. I'd rate it a 0 if I could. How did this even get released?
I can get over the clunky menu, but they took away the cash pay option, so you can only complete orders through the app with credit cards. Therefore the app is completely useless if you want to use cash.
it's funny how I got a new phone, installed my romeos app today, had 98 reward points, ordered pizza, now the app doesnt even show reward points and I received an email saying I've now opted in to the reward program. I opted in months ago and was 2 points away from my $10 reward. the app even showed me how very close i was to that reward 2 hours ago and now POOF they're gone!!! thanks a lot romeos
Nice to have an app to place orders. This app is a bit confusing about the cheese issue. They have a standard 3 cheese blend to select... then later they have a Cheese Topping selection. That's for adding more of 3 types of cheese.
The app is Sometimes better than hitting yourself with a hammer. Something always fails to work. This time, I couldn't select today's date for pickup when I used a saved order. (It would have required me to travel to the past to pick up my pizza..) I had to redo the order to get it made later today. The comments section is never read by the crew. Please make some way to substitute the included dipping sauce other than the very limited space in comments.
Has good food. Would reccomend to others. Comes with a variety of food to pick from. But I had 2 occasions where my food has come raw. It got fixed but a beware for anyone ordering from here. But overall most times the service is excellent.
I cannot pay with credit card because it won't accept my expiration month is Jan. Please fix it. A year later this is still a problem. I have to call the store to order which causes me to pick a different store/app most of the time.
