It is a good app however it could improve with extra tools and more intuitive/easy to find what we want. Yes, it is a bit complicated to find on it what we want some times..
Very easy to use, for both me (mum) & my 10 year old son. He's has the card for 2 years and he is 100% comfortable with paying for his things online & in store. The card/account has also taught him how to save money for the things he wants, he has a much better understanding of cost & money and savings. Its been great for him & me!
Excellent so far, 1st time we have used a card account like this for the kids and it's so easy to use, the parents are always in control of the account and it gives my daughter a great understanding of spending and saving money.......excellent!!!!! Update April 2022, once again can't fault this card and system in any way, app is very easy to use and with reminders to reset contactless, confirm the child has their card etc is great security while using the card, 5 stars from us...
I set this up for my daughter who lives between 2 families. This way we could easily support each other with her finances and it be seen to be a joint project. I can easily support them with accessing more money if needed and it has been a great way for them to take their first steps towards independence. Nice and easy to use and the support has always been rapid.
Very intuitive, easy to use and clear app, makes money management for my 8 year old daughter very easy and I like the fact that I have full visibility of her spend as well.
Usability of this app is a complete disaster. Cancelling my son's account as it's almost completely unusable. Notifications that lead nowhere in the app, no obvious way to view a simple list of activity, and pots you can't close. Awful.
Overall good and intuitive app, however it does seem to take a while to load once you've unlocked through fingerprint.
A really easy app to use, both for me and my children. It has really helped them to understand money and all chores are completed without nagging, win win!
We have been using Rooster since 2019 and we love Rooster!! It is a shame they will no longer be available in the US in 2023 because "Rooster Money" has become an everyday topic for my 2 boys (10 and 6). Setting goals is the BEST, allocating percentages related to budget (Netflix, Charitable giving) is also wonderful. We will be sad when it is gone... :(
I love the ability for my child to easily move money between accounts. It has helped her understand the basics of banking very quickly!
This rooster money for children is the best card for our children it is easy to use , easy to understand .I would highly recommend it for a peace of mind and I have stopped using cash as pocket money at last !

Wonderful app, very easy to use & customer service is the best I have EVER received anywhere. Replies within 30 mins even on a Sun eve! You set up chores for the children & they get their pocket money accordingly. I feel it has taught them the value of money brilliantly. For the parent it's easy to transfer money to & from the spending pots. When they use the card it shows exactly what they've spent money on. Only downside is having to pay for it but folks have to make a living I guess.
Best kids chore app! I told all my friends about it... only to find out that they can't download it any more. Please please open the app up again for us in South Africa!

I fell in love with this app, right at my very first customer service experience. So friendly (Jordan). Also the reply within a short time frame impressed me as well. I reached out for rotating chores, which they are considering along with other upgrades (can't wait to see what is in store for this app in the future 😁) but for now, rotating chores is a priority in my chore assignments so I had to unsubscribe, however it is easy to use. Cheap, if you choose to pay yearly. Plus 30 day trial!

The app is fairly good itself but I keep getting logged out for no reason and it is very annoying.
Was great but I just received notice this app will only support UK users soon. Not sure why as there is no actual banking involved. Very disappointing.
brilliant app. I checked this against gohenry and it covers pretty much the same functionality or at least serves the same purpose. Plus 1. it's cheaper, 2. it's uk based (at least I think it is), and 3. they've been quick to respond to support and in their turnarounds from marketing. So far, great experience, The only thing is that navigation across the app takes a while to get used to - it's not entirely intuitive.
It is really nice having a virtual wallet for the kids that can be added to or subtracted from very, very quickly and easily. I can give the kids quick incentive as well as quick punishments when necessary. When they want something at the store that I don't really want to get for them they can choose to spend some of their ROOSTER allowance money. It really makes them consider their purchase very very hard! Great app. Please don't discontinue in USA, it has really helped my family!
