Absolutely horrendous ads experience. I keep getting ad after ad, can't even read the info or explore the app. Uninstalled in 3 minutes.
Adware! One ad per five second. Not useable.
Ads take over device can't use.
I'm going to put 3-stars here for now but I'm willing to change that pending info I receive from the author. I just installed this app from a link in another of the author's app called BuildPropEditor that I learned about via an XDA article explaining how to increate the my phone's volume steps. I have an Essential PH-1 updated to the latest Pie build (Aug 2019) When I load Root Check, it identifies my phone as an Essential PH-1 and says I'm running Android 9 (Oreo). My question is, why does it say Oreo when I'm actually running Pie? This makes me question the validity of the rest of this application.
This is the the worst app ever! Nothing but adds you can't close, total garbage! Had it on my system for less than 5 min. Skip this loser!
The info tab specifically the terminology was fantastic. I wish that would have been up on the website somewhere cuz it would have saved me all kinds of trouble. I like the app but that was really good information thank you.
It is very quick and it walks you through terminology. Make sure you turn d iui wn the volume because ads can be loud.
Works very well and gives a lot of info! There is a small bug though, it recognizes Android 9 Pie as Oreo. Still fully functional though!
Shows annoying full-screen ads on every UI interaction. Good luck with that.
I cant accept the terms and conditions, there isnt a button anywhere. Only got it so the fonts app would work but i cant use it so theres no point having it.
All of my devices: galaxy s3,galaxy s3 NEO, Galaxy s4 Value edition, Galaxy note3, Galaxy S7 edge,Galaxy a5 2017, Galaxy a9 2018 and the P20 PRO ...all of them were bought brand new except the note 3 But still.....best app for root checking. Thanks to the developer for this app.
There was way too many ads. I get that they want to earn money but the fact that it said my phone wasnt rooted and did nothing about it sucked. This was so useless.
Good app I recommend this app 💯, to check the root status of any decive the little info and terminology is helpful most especially to those that have little knowledge about an android device and its capability. Thumbs up 👍
17th June 2019 Does not work, you cant get passed the "accept terms and privacy policy" there is nothing to press to accept, does not work on Bluestacks 4

there is waaay to many adds in this app I get you need the no ey and whatnot but slow the hell down with them can't even move 8 seconds before an ad pops up
Ha, stupid. On rooted phone starting app with "app wants root" pop-up. I answer "no". Application: "then this phone is not rooted!"
when i use this app in my samsung Note2 first it said no rooted after i use it 3 more time it said my device rooted i havent touch or download any root file or application why it said like that.
Good root checker and also provide good basic knowledge on root. But many ads in the apps.
can't go the "accept our terms of service" part, no button shows up, nothing happens after i go to the link
I think it is easy to use but next time need to to make much easier need to reduse adds
The ads are offensively in your face and constant. Avoid at all costs.
After I downloaded the app to root my phone still not rooted maybe it can't work with my phone camon 11.
Its not useless app it show all of your device status im a medatik user im a superuser right now because of this app show some tips how to flash how to stock rom please respect the author its not easy to become a app creator so respect guys
The App seem good('cos. it's educative), but it's not calling a spade a spade( it has no capicity to identify a system; imagine!, it's defining Oreo as KitKat)
I love anything by jrummy cause the apps are good and I know I can trust them unlike Chinese or Russian steal your info apps
Dosent work, trapped me, dont get it Quite frankly idek wat it is, i just had to get it so my fonts app would work, but i still don't so im deleting it

Useless. tons of ads. not working at all.
The ads, WOW. This is a solid app, but the adds are out of control. Fullscreen, unskippable video ads with very difficult to press close buttons open literally every time you change a menu. Looks like it's worth the .99c to just buy it outright, but I can't support anyone using ads this aggressively.
