For the more advanced and technically inclined users, many important details are provided around the Root and BusyBox installation. The application presents all the details needed to properly troubleshoot any Root or BusyBox issues.
The goal of this application is to provide even the newest Android user with a simple method to check their device for root access. This application will also allow the user to verify a proper BusyBox installation.

Though this app is simple in design and execution, it provides a wealth of information. For those with rooted devices and BusyBox installed it provides all the details you need to confirm that these options are installed correctly or not. The fact that it does not try to do more is what earns it a five star rating. Simplicity has its merits.
I'm using ROM Toolbox Pro & I rooted via Chainfire (stock recovery) & have now installed TWRP. I check root on my I9500 & also busy box with this app & have had no problems whatsoever. I may be mistaken, but I believe that J rummy apps recommends this particular app. I wouldn't use anything else & I see that many other people recommend this particular Root Checker. I wouldn't use anything else! S4 I9500 (rooted) PS when you buy Pro, you have to reinstall, though it looks installed, 2 lose adds.
This app appears to be outdated. Also pushes the user to install SuperSU,even though SuperSU is outdated and insecure. The current recommended root app is MAGISK, but this app is only partially compatible with Magisk and the developer apparently has no plans to correct this. LOOK ELSEWHERE!
I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE FACTS RELEVENT TO THE STATUS OF MY DEVICE ACTUALLY BEING ROOTED AS SUCH THAT IS WHAT IS BEST ADVERTIZED TO DO. WITHOUT A DOUBT THE INFORMATION DERIVED UPON ANY POINT THIS APP IS USED WILL DENOTE ACCURATE RESULTS. THESE RESULTS ARE EXPRESSED IN THE MOST COMMON SENSE NARRATIVE, THAT I WITH AN AMOUNT OF COMPUTATIVE KNOWLEDGE AND SMARTPHONE FINESSE CAN ASSESS WHAT DIRECTION OR STEP I NEED TO IMPLIMENT TO GAIN ROOTING CONFIDENT OF THE RESULTS. This is the most detailed root checker app I've found to date, it also checks busybox installation to. Dev is prompt with email support.
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. I would love to get the 'function' "Global Root Statistics" that are available in the Root Checker Basic version however.
It's a root checker and busybox checker, and SU Checker. That's all. It not meant to give root access to apps including itself, that's what a super user app does.

I use rootchecker pro frequently to make sure my root privilege is intact after I make changes to my phone. I don't undertake any major changes on the phone without it.
Been using this Root Checker foe many years after installing new ROMs, and to see if I still have root. fast and very informative must have app for root users, and it keeps getting better as well.
