Doesn't turn NFC on/off. Reports "need root access" permission, but didn't tell me how to grant that.

It downloaded fine. It appeared in my drop down menu fine. When I tap it to turn my NFC on and off, it does nothing. Am I missing something? Am I supposed to do something else?

I rooted my pixel 4 but I don't think I see nfc switch on Android 10 unfortunately. Can someone confirm?

I don't want root
Work on/off on simple single tile tap. Just a trifle, while holding the tile, you will not see the Settings with NFC page, but information about the application.
