Does exactly what it claims to do. Whereas Stickmount wouldn't work, this works just fine. I can now use my 16 GB USB 3.0 flash drive with my Galaxy Note 2 (running Slimbean Beta 422). Just a little worried because it doesn't have an "Unmount" option. I don't want to damage my drive!
All other ntsf readers don't work so I'm not surprised this one didn't either. I tried permissive lelinux and all that but it seems it just won't work :(. BTW I'm using 64gb sd so the capacity might be too much for the app even though the phone can read it fine.
It only mounts ntfs just like it says and I love the way it works, but it doesn't mount ext4/3/2. It doesn't mount ext filesystem and doesn't support multiple partitions on usb drives. it crashes whenever I plug in an ext4/3/2 formated flash drive.
Unfortunately, it didn't work on my nexus 7. It doesn't recognize when device is connected. It just sits there waiting forever.
Change my roms Hawkish to Energy v 2. Change my kernel to Franvo r15. Still does not work. Does not even recognised my sd card. Dunno what is wrong. NTFS2SD or Paragon NTFS/HSF+ got no problem with my NTFS 32 GB SD card.
My Memory Card 32Gb Mounted And Working read and write and evrything ok thnx
To all users who have trouble mounting their sd cards, try this: keep this app and also install NtfsSd (it's available for free here on google play) make sure you start NtfsSd and change the external sd path to mnt/sdcard/external_sd and click mount to get the super user permission prompt and grant the app super user permissions. Once you have done that and rebooted your device, the sd card should be mounted propperly. Thanks to Uladzimir Kazakevich for this great app! Five stars!
Stupid app said my freshly formatted drive to be corrupt and then formatted it to Fat32, which can't support a 5 Gb file. I don't need this app to mount a Fat32 pen drive. My phone can anyway do it.
Tested on a rooted Galaxy Nexus with stock Android 4.1.1. Tried rebooting, rerunning, all I could think of. This app does nothing at all. The connected NTSF USB stick is not recognized.
"Unfortunately NTFS Mount has stopped." N9005XXUDMJ7 Stock ROM (root) NTFS CORSAIR Flash Voyager Slider USB 3 Stick on OTG
says it was written for galaxy, so didn't expect it to work for my tablet. but if i could set the mount folder myself it wouldn't try mounting to a symlink at /mnt/sdcard/ because that is how my virtual sd is built for my tablet brand.
This version works great.I get the blank media icon for a second then drive is mounted & standard apps can see it.
Does exactly what it says. Mounts my external drives with ease first time, every time. Works even on generic cheap chinese tablets, to my samsung Note 2014. Im using Dual File Manager and Xplore File Manager to manage my external drives
@jon With stickmount the n7 can read everything fine. It just cant write ntfs. This app doesnt seem to do anything to help it. In fact it doesnt seem to do anything at all for me.
The app force closes on my galaxy s5 whenever i try to connect ntfs formatted harddisk
Works fine on Samsung tab p5100 But don't mount the same drive on S4 i9505 Pls fix
I whated to mount my hard drive am using a tablet and it didn't work than I installed this app than boom it works
Not working with samsung tab 3, any other available to use with tab3, pls help me
Nexus 7, 4.2.1 via Stickmount I can now write to an attached ntfs hard drive. Before this app I could read ntfs HDD but not write.
Not really the app's fault … it is an old app, after all.
It does nothing in my Micromax Canvas A117. I've rooted handset and full root permission.
Its an useless app. Unable to read my ntfs formatted pendrive.
I was having issues with both this application and with stickmount, but after putting both apps on my SGS2 and Nexus 10 at the same time, I finally got results (via the stickmount path).
Please fix it and support to my lenovo ideatab a1000-g is version 4.1.2 rooted one.. Thank u
I am using this app in my oneplus one 64gb and it's working good.i have 2 tb wd elements hdd which formatted in ntfs by using this app i successfully mounted hdd.reading speed 14mb , writing speed 5mb so this is amazing...
Does not recognize my EXT4 SD card at all. ES File Explorer sees it (but doesn't support ext4), so it's a software issue
When used in tandem with Stickmount, the nexus7 can read everything I've tried so far, even my terabyte external.
Works great. Didn't have to do a thing after downloading this app. Previously, my music downloads from Google music would not display; once I installed this to format my sd card...no problem!
Works fine in conjunction with the speedmod kernel (needed for the fuse module) and allows me to use an NTFS formatted 32GB microSD card on my Galaxy Note.
Don't know why this app is so underrated. This app does exactly what it says. When you run the app for first time it asks for root access and does some tweak to system. After that any storage device formatted with NTFS is recognised without any issue whether it is an HDD or USB or SD Card. After that we can even remove the app and NTFS support will remain permanent in the phone which is great. Some negative reviews say that exFAT is not supported, well it is not stated is description. This is for NTFS.
