Loved the app. I had no trouble navigating the app or getting handouts. The best part was the find your relatives at the conference. Just wish the app kept the info longer than the 4 days. I had 600 relatives there and I am not LDS. I was shocked at how many there were. I thought I might only find 1 or 2 distant cousins.
Not good in 2020. When follow instructions to "exit to show list " app closes and will not reopen. Reloading app does not fix.
Nifty but glitchy. Occasional freezing. Same notifications multiple times or late.
Cannot open as there is a continuous downloading updates message have uninstalled and reinstalled it twice to no avail
Not handycaped friendly, map locator should have special directions for elevators and all elevators need to be working.
installed but won't open! using an old Samsung phone but it should still work!
Love it , although it would be nice if it synced across devices
The app was brilliant while the exhibition was one. Will use again.
I couldn't get the app to update. I deleted it. Now I can't get it to download.
Very good app, but I haven't figured out how to download the syllabi.
wonderful and easy to use
worked great for roots tech
Keeps me updated on family research.
Now this is exciting with a capital E
Doesn't do anything. G that it claims to do
I am using the Roots Tech app on my android Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone and everything so far seems to be working just fine. It is nice to get a read ahead of the conference schedule and build your own agenda. The conference will be great; a wonderful opportunity to give and receive.
Looking pretty good so far. *TYPO: app says 1:00p classes instead of 1:30p
This app does NOT work on tablets.
I'm sad that this app overwrote the info from 2017. It would be better to keep the historical apps as an option. Now I know not to take notes in the app. I'll lose them.
I don't have an ipad and I can't see the app on my phone because of the small print. Why can't I load the app on my Surface tablet?
I can't link the app to my registration. Which ought to be really easy. But it isn't. It's a better app than last year but still disappointing overall. It would be nice if you could select the presentations by a speaker from the list rather than having to view each presentation.
I cannot e mail the session handouts to myself so I can prep for the conference. I have contacted customer support three times and they are of no help. Is anyone else having difficulty accessing the session handouts? Last year's app allowed me to get the handouts ahead of time using the same tablet I have this year. Other than this concern, I really like the new app compared to last year., but this one feature is what I want the most.
It is difficult to navigate. For class descriptions, you can only see one at a time on your phone. Classes are not listed in the same order on the app and on the website. Still cannot download the syllabi for the sessions attended. Totally frustrating.
Looks like 1990s web tech. Can't figure out how to link to registration so don't know what I've paid for.
Worked great for navigating around the huge place!

App is not user friendly. Hard to find where you need to access what you want to see and keeps going back to the home page schedule. Never did find the syllabus or course outline notes. Needs to be compatible with PC's and the ability to pdf download.
Loved it!
Very helpful during the conference. If you allow for notifications you will get schedule.updates. Also like the participants connection features and that the handouts for the workshops were available to.download directly to my phone.
