Absolute garbage.....never consistently reliable to downloading roster. Will cycle forever and do nothing. Often dates and days don't match. Wished there was alternative app. Will NOT be renewing Premium Membership. What a waste of money!
It was a great app, but no longer compatible with AIMS so I will not be using the app. But I heard CREW CONNECT works better.
I pay for the premium and since last update I am unable to download the roster from the crew portal. That's the whole point of the app. PLEASE FIX IT
App has not worked in over a month. Awful to be paying premium for an app that does not work.
I was a Premium subscriber last year. There were some outages / connection problems (sometimes for a week or more), but when the app worked, it worked well, and support was OK. I liked the auto roster downloads and calendar export, and found the customization options helpful. At $11 last year, the subscription was a little spendy, but I was prepared to renew. I've just found that the price has doubled (now $22!) however, and I can't justify that expense for my use. I'm sadly headed elsewhere.
App has gotten worse over time. You now have to manually email your schedule for it to be added. I have been unable to see next month's schedules even though I've sent it several times and it shows up as the "Latest Roster". Also, I periodically get logged out and have to re-enter my credentials and redo my setting. Was a decent app before, now almost useless. Won't be renewing my subscription.
I have been using this app for years because it is so easy to use. I am not technical at all and this app just takes all the stress away for me. I love it because I can just click on the app and know straight away what time i’m working and where I am going, I can see the other crew and I can see flight times and time changes. You can set the times to local or utc which i find really helpful. It’s so much easier for me to go to this app rather than have to log in constantly to my work roster online and it’s really quick and easy to update if I have any changes, highly recommend this for any flight or cabin crew.
Only shows the number of sequences, not the number of flights. If I wanted to count those up manually I wouldn't have paid for the app. Underwhelming. To the developer: Hey, thanks for answering! It shows that I've only flown 29 flights all time and 6 for this year, which is absolutely incorrect. How do you see the complete number?
Exceptionally useful and essential app for any commercial aircrew. Particularly useful for sharing my roster with family members using Google calendars, once setup very little work is required to keep them in the picture. The ability to connect to company rostering systems is also a big time saver, and makes keeping up with roster changes simple. I also find the ability to export rosters to Jeppesen CrewAlert really helpful, particularly if you have a fatiguing roster.
Used to be a good app, but now you have to log in to your portal each time you want to save your roster. No auto download. Some options previously avaliable on the website are no longer there since changed to new design and you have to contact support to change them in the background (removing emoji from calendar export). Previous version I would recommend this app but now, don't waste your money its gone backwards.
There is a bug which causes one day of the week missing if local time is used. The reply from support was to change to UTC. My reply: that is neither a fix, nor is it practical. Unsubscribed.
Getting an error when I try to access my schedule through the app. Have emailed them multiple times and shared phone type, OS, Android build, etc... They said to try using Safari on my iPhone. Not impressed, and I don't think they're interested in keeping the Android business. It's been WEEKS with no fix. What gives? UPDATE - No response whatsoever, now have to use my work ipad for RB. Inconvenient and annoying. WTG CAE. Still no opinion?
This app used to be handy. Over the last month, though, most functionality has stopped working, even with a premium sub. Now you have to manually log into your crew portal, get to your roster, and hit save for updates. Google Calendar integration has been broken as well. They cite EU privacy laws as the reason but we're all using the app voluntarily so not sure what the issue is. Maybe the info of other crew or something on your roster, but either way the app is fairly useless now.
Too many discrepancies The app seems good but they are charging a subscription while still having lots of bugs. I've contacted support several times and they're always helpful but I shouldn't be paying for a subscription when I gotta contact them twice a week to fix a bug. Most common bug is a duty being saved as unknown in my calendar.
I have been using RosterBuster for nearly a year now and it worked fine up until this last week or so. I uploaded my latest schedule and for some reason it has days doubled up. For instance where I have a day off it will also have the next days work all mushed together. Its glitched or something. Please fix. ♡
This app is not fit for purpose. Probably one of the weakest roster integration solutions. I paid for premium and the ability to import contacts doesn't work, and the feature to link Facebook friends is completely missing . Tech support unresponsive after 10 days and counting.
Extremely easy roster loading, highly customisable, however, the biggest difference to me is customer support. Nearly instantaneous, extremely efficient and willing to help. I was able, through them, to change the way my particular app recognises my airline's codes for duty/vacation/standby/off days, by sending them all the codes my airline uses, which they then loaded onto the app, since I couldn't do it myself. Superb customer support, which is a huge selling point to get a subscription!
It worked fine until March, after an app update I can no longer select the date from which I want my schedule or for how many days. Meaning that at the end of the month you cant see what happens the next month because you can only get a schedule for the month you are in. Making the app absolutely useless!!! On top of that after more than 2 weeks of "support" they have not once actually helped or even acknowledged the problem.in short, useless app now
Terrible service. I'm a paid customer and I've informed them about my calendar export not working. Their response is to tell me they will eventually work on it and refuse to give me even a time frame to get it done! The only reason I use the app is for the Google calendar export. Why am I even paying for this app if you can't get the feature to work?!
Used to be great but now the app gives me an error when trying to sync my roster and the company ignores my support tickets. They answered the first one saying uninstall and reinstall but that didn't fix anything. Haven't heard anything since.
Do not even bother with this app anymore. It worked well back in 2018 till 2020 but now it won't download my schedule (which is the whole point). It's currently totally useless, hopefully they fix the issues soon.
The support team is very nice and helpful, I was surprized to see that they are acting so efficient. The app works very good. If your roster is on the pdf and it is difficult to read, you can upload it manualy in the ics format. The app interface is very friendly.
I've subscribed to rosterbuster for over 5 years now. I have this on my android phone and on my ipad. It no longer downloads latest roster on either device. It will not download next months roster. I have contacted support multiple times yet they don't care to fix the issue. Don't pay for this service. I'm canceling and not renewing again.
Dear RB! I'm begging you to ADD FEATURE for real-time notification when your roster is changed and option to acknowledge changes. Also FIX a bug that the app keeps sending notifications WHILE I'M ON DUTY that "your roster has been updated with changes" just because we arrived at a different time than what was planned in AIMS. This makes the app a nuisance. Only send notification if the roster is changed BEFORE the duty and NOT DURING the duty due to delay! Fix these and u will be the best app
I have contacted Rosterbuster/CAE several times over the last several months and they just keep sending me canned replies that they are working on a solution and it will be resolved in the next few weeks. The last few messages I received from Aquib were literally cut and paste copies of each other. For now, the app does not work with Lufthansa IADP Netline Crew. I'm glad I didn't pay for the upgraded version of the software, and I highly recommend you do not pay for it either.
