Crash loop has made it completely unusable. If you are a manager Rotacloud is a powerful tool, as a staff member it is a slow, clunky experience.
Horrible, just horrible. The loading time, the bugs...just everything sucks really bad. And for a schedule app, this is no excuse.
It is a great app, and easy to use. Happy that our company has decided to use it. However, some of my colleagues can upload their profile pictures,on android and iPhone, but it seems that I can not have access to the "grey + button" Therefore I can not upload my own profile picture on my Samsung A71. Any idea? Cheers
It was a good app before the last update. Unfortunately, now its very clumsy to navigate. You cannot see open shifts as a list anymore which you just used to simply scroll down and you could see all the shifts available in chronological order. That was briliant. But now you have to click on every single day to find out if there is a shift available or not. Really annoying!
Overall this is a pretty decent app. Can see and do everything that I need with shifts. One issue I have had for a while is my timezone is stuck at Africa/Abidjan. No matter how many times I try to change it, it reverts back to this setting. Tried an uninstall and reinstall and the same problem. Even after getting a new phone the same issue was present. I put up with it for a little while thinking it may just be a bug but the same issue was preaent after multiple updates.
App has a good layout, would like it to be more compatible to desktop version so you can see all workers weekly Rota, rather than just one day at a time. Also, app does not allow you to sign up twice (if you were to test before implementation, you need to delete and redownload the app again to sign up with different account). Over all, decent app with room for improvement.
Great but need the same features as iphone. I find it does what we need it to do..my company doesn't use all the features. However the iphone users can select different areas and select all. I cannot get that option on a Samsung it's very frustrating, as need to see who is on in different job roles.
It's stopped working 😔😔 I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it more than once now and I can't see my shifts. It is just doing the 3 little dots over and over and over and over and over while it loads.....but it loads nothing. This is not the first time I've had problems with this app, but it was enough just to view shifts, now I can't even do this, a pretty crucial part of a Rota app. Please fix it rotacloud!!
When i originally downloaded the app for work, it was as advertised in the photos but over the last week it has changed to a limited simplified version which doesn't show previous shifts or shifts available to claim or holidays taken? Can I please have some guidance on how to restore the old version which is advertised? Loved the old version, the new one is frustrating!
Unable to leave Feedbacks in app! Some of us wants to help but we don't have a way to do so; not an email, no contacts at all. Pretty stupid. Anyway, After I became admin in the app on the "Rota" and "Dashboard" the button "Clock In" hides what's behind it so in our case, we have a long list, it'll hide the last person bottom down and you can't see who he/she is or interact with it because there is the button on top. Then I have more but how can I tell you if I can't write more then 500 char!?
The most recent android update is absolutely atrocious. Somehow mananged to remove all functions/displays that had made the app approachable and easy to use/view. Presumably for a simplified viewing experience but functionality plummets as a result. Currently pursuing methods of reinstalling previous versions because of this update.
I can't see my shifts like i use to in the previous version,as a calendar m-monthly. I can't see my days on/off accurate,is difficult to search daily,weekly to see when you next working. I use to get alert as soon as i use the app,with my upcoming shift,i can't see the open shifts. Is just ridiculous,i don't like the new version at all,either improve it or update the previous version,was much more better and useful.
New version has just been updated and it is very confusing, and looks messy with the spaces in between. Takes longer to process shifts etc. Older version was simple and effective and I have been using it for 2 years. This new version is awful.
"My Shifts" screen very poorly designed, does not scroll forward to current date, highlight where you are in the current schedule, or differentiate between past shifts and upcoming shifts. This has twice resulted in a hasty look at the screen, not noticing the wrong date and therefore working on the wrong schedule. Please correct or refine this asap.
What's with the newer view? When loading the app you see the same icons at the bottom (as your screenshots show). It appears for a split second then takes you to a different version of the app which is so much worse. You have to check your shift day by day since those buttons are not appearing at the bottom, so to find my shifts for the next few months I have to manually scroll through each day after setting my department. Other colleagues and comments advise of the same issues. Use 1 UI
New rotacloud is rubbish, it's confusing when a shift goes on the shift is under the date, the time sheet there's dates in-between, which is pointless, the layout for the month is in along line and unable to to see the month as calender with no high lighted dates when working
The lastest update has made the app harder to navigate and less clear. Please bring the quick keys back. I can't find a way to find my personal rota without having to search each shift.
The new version of the app is so difficult to use. The open shifts were better the way they were by seeing a list instead of going on each day. The app was loads better before the update. Please change it back soon!!!
I wish the interface for mangers was more like that on the employee version of the app. It is easier to navigate and looks much more professional.
My rota cloud does not look like what it does on the pics on Google play. I don't have a tab with the options at the bottom. I seem to be the only person where I work that has this problem. I don't know if it's because I use a Huawei phone or what but its frustrating
Notifications don't work, the app doesn't load half the time, and it's generally not user friendly on a phone. I'm told it's easier on a computer, but then there's no point in having this.
On the whole I think the app is good however on the latest update you can not look at an over view of each month to see when you are working and when you are off. Can this be remedied please. Also is it possible to give a colour code for different shift patterns as in early shifts and late shifts. Thank you
Really good app, just seen it's website ratings and I'm astonished, they must be really dated. I'm part of a covid vaccination hub and we absolutely couldn't have got through the workload we have without rotacloud- its so easy to use, so intuitive, we just load our staff and rotas on and it runs itself. We've run maybe 60 daily sessions, 22,000 patients vaccinated and we'd have had double the work without this app. Huge thank you from all of us NHS users.
open shift notification comes after shift gone. it's not coming on real time. most of the time this apps showing error message" something went wrong". not pleasent to use this apps.
The previous version was better. I can't even see open shift like the app keeps closing and says it stopped working. I can't even claim any overtime since it doesn't even let me see it.
Please I need assistance on my rotacloud. The problem is that I can't see open shifts on my rotacloud. I have reported the issue to my employer, my employer told me that the problem is not from their side. My employer advised me to uninstall and reinstall the which I did several times but is not working yet. Please is there any way you can assist me. I am going to lose alots of shifts if this issue does not address Asap thanks
Quite a good app, easy viewing of rotas, only complaint is that I cannot import this data to Google Calendar. This would be very helpful.

This app is useful but the lack of a calendar view like the website means that it's difficult to see your shifts in context for the week.
First time I have used this app and highly recommend all work company's should have this, its so easy to use and so clearly set out for you to understand and so much easier to let keep you updated on your work shifts, from the day, month, year and time and send you notifications in advance so you always know when and where your next shift is. (Updating my review) am still using this app for work and am still enjoying using it and still saying its so much easier to keep track on your work rota.
