I was randomly logged out for no reason on one occasion and one day I couldn't open the app, it just displayed a loading screen indefinitely so I had to reinstall. Can't edit any records like it says in a screenshot on this store page "manage your team", you can't do that. All you can do is view your schedule and request new leave. The app is fine for what it does do but it needs improvement.

Freezes with the spinning indicator when attempting to read the schedule. I got to it once only. The web version works much better, but please can we have the days marked on it so I don't have to cross-reference with a calendar - that was the only reason I tried the app, which I'm ditching for now. Edit: the latest version seems to work better, time will tell. Gone up to two stars. EDIT: Two months on (Sept) and the app has improved but it's prone to occasional crashes. Gone up to three stars.

Room for improvement. Our company has used this app for about a year now. What it lacks is features that would make it more useful: 1. The ability to to request shift moves to different times and/or dates. 2. The ability to easily co-ordinate with colleagues to swap shifts. 3. The ability to synchronise the calendar with Outlook or Google calendar. I hope these features are introduced soon.

I have never had more issues with any other app before. The old ugly version at least used to load. This app takes ages to load anything and sometimes just won't load at all. The UI is so clumsy and it takes ten times longer to fiddle about with this than it would just looking at a paper rota. Great idea, poor execution. And its the same for my entire team, theres no issues with my rotageek. The web version however, is better.

When it's not crashing it's great. I use this with work and it's really useful but if you try and load your roter to fast, it crashes, stay on the schedual too long and it crashes, just have it open for more than 3 minutes and it still crashes. It crashes constantly and despite some pretty regular updates they don't fix the issue... it wouldn't be so bad if it didn't happy EVERY TIME you boot it up...

This app takes forever to load and sometimes just doesn't load at all. Not good especially when new rotas are added or changes made and we need to see them quickly! Staff are really helpful and quick to get back within the app for reporting problems but it still doesn't seem to improve. Please can you fix it so it at least loads properly so we can see our work schedules quickly. Thank you.

Hardly loads up. Regularly malfunctions. Freezes for ages. This is bad when I cannot see my working hours. There has just been an update and still doesn't work. I rate a 2 out of 5 for when it does work but is still extremely slow (Maybe to amount of workers which I understand) but right now it gets a one star as this is a regular occurrence. If it worked more time than it didn't I'd give it 3 star.

The concept is good but the execution needs work. The app can be very slow at times to show your shift. The calendar sync feature should give you the option to sync to an email address or exchange server. The phone's back button is not implemented properly. There's no shift swap or shift move support.

Great concept, and awesome app. Works as it should aside from the shift notification not popping up 2hours prior to shift like it reads. No other major issues, sometimes lags when switching to team rota and no easy way to see who is working a particular shift if you are off that day. Be nice to be able to still click to view those that are working. Thanks ✌️

Slow, laggy, out dated. I'm still being shown the calendar for the first despite it being the 9th. 'working with' lists the complete wrong staff and scrolling to the correct date in the full schedule means at least 2 minutes of lock up. A simple scheduling app shouldn't be this badly made. If my work didn't force me to use this app I'd have uninstalled long ago.

This app and the Web version don't have to load fancy graphics, videos or anything like that. However, they both take longer than pretty much anything elsei can think of does. I can probably go on YouTube and watch an introduction to rotageek before the app or Web scheduler have opened. I have a galaxy s20 ultra and every time I want to check my schedule I have to close it down and get it out of my ram before reloading and seeing my shifts. Make it faster and more reliable please!

Most of the time it says I'm not in our clock in area. Other days it clocked out mid shift. Issues I didn't have on the old app. Lots of staff have similar issues meaning we rely a paper sheet. You cannot stay logged into two devices anymore, I use my tablet for everything, but clock in using my phone. So the calendars don't match up on my devices because it deselects the sync option when I'm logged out, an issue I didn't have on the old app where I synced directly to Google Calendar.

Over a year on 7/11/21 and the app still doesn't work properly, think I'll go back to the old way and use a diary, would never recommend this app, let's u down time and time again. 0 star rating!!!!!!!! Rubbish, wouldn't let me rate no stars! Bring back the old app, worked perfectly, this new one doesn't load with ease, I only want to know what my shift is, such a carry on everytime you need to open it, I've uninstalled it and now reinstalling it to see if that helps, don't hold out much hope

Fine when it works, but have been unable to log in for months now (Pixel 4a). Despite multiple uninstalls and reinstalls, it just never progresses past the login screen. I can't rate an app that won't let me log in any higher.

Good but slightly glitchy. When I try to go back from my schedule, it just loads and loads and I usually end up having to close and reopen the app. Also, it would be really nice to have a colour change or shading in the schedule for completed shifts. Other than that, very happy.

As per other reviews, old app was a lot easier to use and easier to read. Since the interface has changed I have been unable to see a full list of people working on the day, it shows me maybe 8 or 9 employees and leaves out the rest, basically the only function I need from the app (to see where people are working) is now an impossible task unless the person I need to see happens to be one of the lucky 9 people rotageek decided to show me. Already tried RG support, logged as a bug. Fix plz

No Stars! I don't know who designed or programmed this terrible app, but it is an absolute joke! No, jokes are funny. This poor excuse of a programme only achieves in enducing a white hot rage through a lack of functionality. I don't believe for a second anyone prefers this over the old version. Clearly a review left by someone involved. It is buggy, non-responsive, or overly responsive when it assumes you want to do something you don't. Fix it! If you have any pride in your work. Fix it!!

Wow what an app... NOT. God awful this thing. Loads as and when it wants to, never when I actually need it though. Only got 2 stars because when it does finally work, it works okay... considering this app is for working people, I suggest you sort the loading issues out seeing as it's a vital tool and paper copies of rotas seem to be a thing of the past 🤦‍♀️ obviously the developers are not arsed seeing as this is not the first review like this and nothing's changed.

Clunky. Slow. Can't see a full calender. Better having a paper calendar. Update 30/03/2022 Can't sync calendar. If I try the whole app crashes. Won't start. Has to be uninstall and restalled. Not even worth 1 star now.

Wasn't too bad (not great) to start will since last update won't even get past loading screen so can't see my shifts for work , utter rubbish . And now I am back to update , if you are a company thinking of using this app I wouldn't bother it's the worst thing ever , never puts enough staff in to cover shifts so puts our supervisor under so much pressure . Wish my work place would go back to old rota system

Constantly crashing leaving it unusable most of the time. When it works it's a great app.. please send a fix for the crashing issue and it'll get 5*! Update - support team got in touch, advised on the crashing issue and now it works perfectly! As promised 5* review

Brilliant update. Hated this app before. Like it much more now. Dashboard details my next shift and break allowance. Working with, shows me who's on with me and when. Schedule now scrolls through all my rota'd shifts in one page. There's another page for sanctioned leave. Much clearer, much easier to use ( this is an app my employer insists I use - which previously frustrated me as it was clunky and confusing - so my thanks go to the developers for providing genuinely useful improvements.)

I miss the old version! I can't get this one to open most of the time, it sends me back to sign in and then comes up 'internal server error', I've tried to reinstall, but still the same. Will not load information, just a spinning circle constantly 😭

Used to be pretty good but it has crashed several times and now it won't even load past the purple loading screen. Tried to uninstall & reinstall and now it won't let me log in, as if it won't load/work when pressing the log in button. For a rota app it's no good if you can't even get on to see your work rota

The interface is much nicer than the older app however 3 stars due to removal of Google calendar integration. I can no longer automatically sync Rota geek with my shared family calendar, which is a huge step back in my opinion. Please reinstate this feature.

This app is unresponsive and crashes at every opportunity. Trying to incorporate the web based layout to a phone app is ludicrous. Bring back the old app which worked. Very annoying, only have 1 star as can't give less than that.

Since the update the app is really slow. It takes ages to upload the rota and it is worse if you want to check the rota few weeks in advance. Interface is better than the previous app but i cant give more stars due to really bad performance overall.

Some loading issues, particularly if I press back (just loads and I have to close and restart the app); but on the whole works well. Would be great to see what shift has been amended instead of the notification saying the week has been updated

Awful app, constantly logging me out and then doesn't recognise my password, terrible trying to load it up once I can get into it, very hit and miss interface. Overall horrible app to use but work dictates I use it, I wouldn't use it out of choice.

Extremely slow. Almost always crashes between menus. Usually have to shut the app then reopen it to try and do what you want. To have a platform this poor that is marketed towards corporate companies is not acceptable.
