Rotation Control (License)

Excellent app. I have a Samsung Note 20 ultra and used to use a different, free app without per-app settings and it always messed up my camera - had to turn off screen rotation before using. But the per-app settings on this one means I can change my camera app to "portrait" and it works flawlessly. Now I can dock my phone upsidedown and plug it into the top to charge. It's a set-it-and-forget-it app. Perfect.

I'm using this app on both a Pixel 2 XL running Android 10, and a Nexus 9 running Android running 7.1.1. For both devices, this app is running for me just fine. I like having my screen always locked in portrait except for incredibly specific circumstances. The high level of customisability allows me to get that done perfectly with this app. Your mileage may vary.

Camera had some issues in Note 8's recent update. This is solved by (developer quote) "Hi Unfortunately, I can only force an apps rotation, not its layout. You can use the per-app settings to exclude application which malfunction." Didn't know this app could do that, try this if you're having issues! Great app, have been using it since the Nvidia Shield Portable came out.

It's pretty good. Should be native but Google clearly doesn't think so. Great for saving your charging port from unnecessary stress. It pretty regularly fails to recognize the lifetime license so you have to uninstall then reinstall the licensed version or restart your phone, sometimes both. Annoying enough for 2 star reduction. I use it while driving and charging and don't have time to uninstall and reinstall randomly.

When it still works, the original application and this license help keep a person from wanting to throw their phone across the room. Ultimate rotation control, the original app has developed issues and says that the license has expired. Sometimes forcing the original ultimate rotation control app to stop and then reopening it will allow function again. I have not had success uninstalling or reinstalling the license portion to recover function with Android 10 on a Samsung a11.

I've been using the app for a month now and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Today it tells me my trial is expired even though I bought the license weeks ago. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling which didn't help. Please fix this! If you can get my license working again I'll gladly change this to 5 stars! Thanks.

This has worked for years, since I bought the license in 2017. no it says unlicensed. When I click on the buy to reactivate it it takes me to the license page which says paid. The only solution is to restart my phone. Then it works for a day or two before reverting to unlicensed again. Now looking for a replacement.

I already got the license but but it breaks too often and I have to reinstall it to fix it.. using it in Moto G6 Play (Android 9), this issue seems to be with Android 9.. it was fine with my older phone, also rotation locks seems not to work sometimes. It might have gotten 4 or 5 out of 5 stars before but I will be giving it 2 out of 5 stars.

(This is an unlock license!) This app still works after 9 years. I'm on Android 10 and I was so happy that my 9 year old purchase still functions. I love the ability to turn my phone upside down and actually have it rotate. (First review for original app left in 2012)

No longer working, on an endless loop of saying my free trial expired, but I bought the license. Won't let me reactivate license. When I select that option nothing happens. When I select to purchase the license it takes me to the app store to buy it, but of course the store says it is already purchased, because I did.

i just hope this is a temporary error that will get easily fixed...I have bought and have used this app for almost a year now and it just suddenly appears unlicensed but I clearly have the license version. if someone helps me with this that would be awesome.

FYI the app has been showing "buy license" although I have it. I'm sure it's a minor but, app still works. If it fails after 7 days, I'll report back. Keep up the great work. Phone is a 1+ 6T not rooted, stock ROM.

Developer responded that he didn't currently have time or plans to fix the licensing issue. Shameful, given that we users purchased licenses but can no longer use them.. all we need is a simple fix to the license registration link. The app itself still functions well.. we simply can't retain access to it. Like other reviewers, I had used and loved this app for years, but it's been broken since late 2018. A shame.

same as everyone else, bought license years ago, been using for years on multiple phones, would give it a 5, except all of a sudden it keeps losing license. uninstall reinstall is not a fix. fix the license and I'll give it a 5, otherwise I'll end up uninstalling

Not working properly, had to uninstall, reboot reinstall to let the licence work again. Hope this won't get to be a rince and repeat thingy to avoid unlicensed status! Been running Android 10 since it came out, problem just appeared for the first time a day ago

Bought the licensed version, works really well. Only thing I wish it had was mirror reverse orientation so I can use my phone with HUD mode. That's the one thing that would make this perfect.

I am very disappointed with this app and the developers. A while back the app started showing messages that the trial period is over and I need to buy the licenses, I am already licensed many years back. I emailed the developer a week ago and no response, I am very disappointed and I feel that the devs abandoned the app. I will have to uninstall the app now, it is useless and waste of money...

works as advertised great. I have heard that the liscence runs out after a certain amount of time, but I wouldn't mind paying $2.99 a year for this, just dont use that to screw me, app developer reading this right now.

Purchased the app a while ago, but now it says trial expired and won't work. Apparently others having the same issue. Developer does not respond to emails. Abandonware.

License says lifetime warranty. However, now it's saying "your trial period has expired". After trying to reactivate the license by uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing seemed to work. Contacted customer support, no response. What a scam. Potential buyers beware. Will be reporting this app to google for investigation.

This is a great app one I've been using for many years across multiple tablets however most recently it is not accepting the license of which I paid for. Hopefully support will reach out or respond with how we resolve as I see that I'm not the only paid customer that is having this issue.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, who ever made this app gets my money and I get nothing that works? REALLY!! So a person can build an app and rake in the cash before it f@#ks up. Then instead of fixing the app, they can abandon it but keep the cash coming in. Then when people complain about it. A person can just say," don't have the time to fix and I don't want to fix. No longer works. Keep saying license expired but I already purchased the license and installed it. It just goes in an infinite loop of me going to the app store opening the app rotation control license which then takes me back to the app and then the app force me back to the Google play store go to control license app again.

Used to be 5-star, but: 1) license won't work on new phone (says "already installed" but it doesn't work) 2) unable to exclude camera, and "forced rotation" - - the only reason to have the app in the first place - - makes the camera inoperable on a Galaxy Note 9 when in landscape orientation

This app is definitely worth the investment, it allows the user to easily control the view modes of devices screen. I use it all the time. Cheers

Okay developer the one star represents the fact that you left my review in edit mode since 2019 without posting so I deleted it and the one-star also represents the fact that now after re-downloading this app it will not rotate even tho I have it set to Global or Auto and with per apps settings I have set to forced Auto and it still will not rotate so I paid you for the license how about updating this app and fixing it?

I'd like to point out, that this HASN'T BEEN UPDATED by the author in some time. The issue appeared after recent change in the OS (in my case, update from Android 9 to 10), so this either change in Google's app communication API or underlying OS change. That's Google's fault, not author's!

App won't recognize that I already bought the license and keeps telling me to buy it. Used to work fine but out of nowhere it says that and it doesn't work anymore. Don't buy unless they fix it!!!!!

App is wonderful, but I have had to reinstall almost daily for the past few weeks because it has stopped recognizing my license. Very annoying.

Great awesome app, but it stopped working and says my trial period is over, even though i purchased a license. Have emailed for help twice with no response. Edit 3/3/20, Arjan from FaMe It solved the problem for me and i'm so glad because it's a great app!
