Roundcube Webmail

The desktop version is great for all my purposes (I've just done little tweaking). It's fast and easy to navigate. However this mobile app is currently unusable. The columns do not stretch to fit the screen and the window does not scroll. In landscape mode you can only see the toolbar and cannot access anything. Looking at how great (at least to some extent) the desktop version is, I don't think much tweaking is required to bring this app to that standard. Dear developers, please help!

It's definitely not mobile-friendly by all means. The left panel took 60% of the screen and I barely could see anything on the right side. With much difficulty, I would slowly scroll little by little and view the sender's email but not even the subject. I thought this would be helpful but seems not. Still had to access via browser on my phone.

The small, privately owned business I work for uses this, so I'm forced to use this for work email. I consider myself a pretty tech savvy person, but for me, login for the app and simple tasks (like adding subfolders) seem unnecessarily complex. I can't imagine how the 'electronically illiterate' fair. Crashing issues and error messages. If I can talk my boss into switching to another email system, believe me, I'm going to try...very hard. This program is awful and needs a complete overhaul.

I really hated how the browser version works but I learned to live with it though I still get annoyed when I need to do something other that literally just reading and replying to emails, but this app doesn't even allow that to happen. It felt near impossible to log in and when I finally got in I wish I weren't. I wish I could give it 0 stars because it's really that bad. The app is buggy on Android. Doesn't list every message that is present in the inbox. I know because the count is greater than the number of messages. Also, my PC web browser shows more messages than this app. The app is basically useless because I can't access all the messages in the inbox. Fix it!

Literally one of the worst apps I've ever had the misfortune of downloading and using. I constantly get sign out ever 5 seconds, it will flip between the desktop vers and the app version, its glitchy, buggy and over all impossible and infuriating to use.I don't ever feel secure using it for my mailing and I highly regret using it for my company email and if I had a choice I would stop using this service instantly.

Very basic UI and functionality. Useful to check if any parkrun emails have come through, but still use the webmail on a laptop to reply or send emails. Annoyingly, the inbox doesn't show who the emails are from, just the date, time, subject and email size: would be 3 or 4 stars if improved.

The app forces ads unless you pay, cant even load new mail, has buttons thatcdont even work. It basically loads a few emails of your current inbox and then thats it. It tells me I have new emails but cant find them and the UI is just too difficult to put any effort into learning. I'd much rather just login through a mobile browser.

I applaud the effort to mobilize Horde's desktop Webmail but the app's usefulness is almost nil. There is no way to adjust the size of windows in which folders and messages appear so that you have a tiny space for viewing contents. The app has perpetual glitches and frequently freezes. Emails don't arrive at their destination with the same formatting, instead there are oddly spaced paragraphs and sentences that break up in the middle and jump to a new line, which looks very unprofessional.

Exceptionally difficult to use on mobile phone. User unfriendly. No function for writing and sending emails. Can be used for checking inbox, but not good for reading emails, especially longer than 1 sentence. Room for improvement, I hope the developers can make it better.

I tried this app to have this on my phone but I'm constantly logout .. Maybe I misconfigured my server or it is not full compatible with Roundcube plugins (autologon and keep signed) Sadly I don't know how to turn my configuration to be a web app with Roundcube (permanently I'll like to say, cause if after every update it disappear ..) An app should exceed the mobile browser experience. This one does not and is actually more frustrating as it logs you in and out repeatedly. The left tab box takes up half the screen (there should be an option to minimize it) which makes reading emails too challenging to even bother with.

Had hoped it would be a more attractive version or have a more updated UI than the web version. Not only does it not, it's utterly useless to me in terms of convenience. I have to log in and select cookie preferences every single time I open it.

Can't see emails. This is not user friendly. When you finally are able to open an individual email and want to go back to the inbox the ap shuts down and you have to reload/sign in again.

Did all the steps even though I copied and pasted everything that was asked for was told there was no such login page and a handful of other error notices. Kind of sad because I was really excited about this app for my phone. I cant use outlook on my phone or stuff doesn't get sent to my computer as well really hope they can get this working properly for hostgator clients. Thanks guys 😊

I can't open my emails from my phone. I have to log into my computer. There is no recognition of previous email. I'm forced to type out the entire email address. The font options are extremly limited. I did not notice a spell check option. Please update and enhance these options for users. Thank you.

I cannot read my mails properly because I cannot adjust the size of the columns. Worrying text is a pain, because you cannot see what you're typing because the size is again not adjustable. Last I have more than one mail account and cannot add them all. Nice to look at, but not to work with so far. There's a lot of potential for improvement.

I don't know why this app even exists to be frank. It took me forever to figure out how to log in. You have to copy and paste the exact url from browser when you log in from pc or mobile device. It was confusing for me but if that's a slow moment for me then okay, I'll take that. But when I finally do get logged in, it works fine......until it has timed out. Then you can't even log back in using the credentials. You have to uninstall and reinstall in order to get back in. Lousy

No different than using a web browser. Doesn't load the whole emails and still struggles with using the interface. This is a disappointment to use and when you first need to log in there is a bunch of coding that it still needs to use.

Can't tell which messages are new. Hope I never have an emergency email come through. Very poor layout, poor design. Even worse options. No ability to auto send emails to folders. Just really poor design all the way around.

Not the best! Temperamental with emails. Doesn't have an option to stay logged in on a device. Doesn't have a mobile phone option so you can't check emails on the go! I also haven't been able to find an option to create a signature for emails or make specific folders!

First it listed the Inbox emails. Then when going back to the Inbox from reading an email no emails display. Can see the count of inbox emails but can't see them now. This is not a useful app when doing this. No point in having it on the phone.

Works okay for ocassional checking of messages and the odd reply. Glad to have it rather than nothing but needs refining. As far as I can tell there is no message notification so unable to tell when new message recieved. User interface a bit awkward at times too.

I've used the online webmail from Roundcube before, which can sometimes be frustrating. The app seems even worse. I logged in to an account that has mail, but the app appeared to be empty. It doesn't inspire confidence in me.

Incredibly terrible. Logs in, then after one action like browsing the list of emails shows the empty(!) login screen again. Even worse than Roundcube web mail which is already extremely bad, outdated and lacks the most basic features.

Very bad app. It's not even mobile friendly, the problem is not that it is just browser shown in app, but that there is no responsive elements at all, and some elements overlap so it is very hard to hit refresh button.

I can't open attachments, leaving the app running in the background causes issues when re-opening it, sometimes it just won't load my email, it is slow and provides little feedback to inputs (I can't tell if my email got sent or not...)

Absolutely useless. Windows can't be resized. Search bars float on top of tool bars so you can't access the menus. Whoever designed this had no idea what they were doing.
