The app is great! It's smooth, nice design, and it good amount of restaurants, but what I love about this app the most is the offers and the promos, to be honest, I would order without them 😂 hope this keeps going, I stopped using other apps because of the offers 😂. Overall, good job! Ohh one more thing, the idea of putting a picture for each meal is great, really helps with the decision making, so please, more pictures.
Sometimes I order and the order doesn't go through. You can't cancel the order in that case and customer support don't pick up the line. Sometimes they deduct the payment after hours and deliver the food then. Too many glitches and bugs in the app. It's unfortunate because the layout on the app is the best among all. But I can't use it, I'm uninstalling.
The app works great but has a few issues: 1. It will often times incorrectly says that your order is 1 minute away even if the order is not even close. 2. Whenever I go to write a note on my order it will force Caps Lock on for some reason and I have to press shift on every button press to write a proper note. 3. After I've added my credit card information it has become the default payment option for every order and there's no option to change that or remove my card from the app.
Can't use wallet credit unless it's the same value or less! (Don't allow you to combine more than one form of payment). Don't allow you to apply more than one code at a time. When an issue happens to the order to issue store credit without asking for permission instead of issuing you a refund to the same form of payment used. Order interface can be more sophisticated (future orders, general comment to the merchant, an option to exclude utensils from the order).
App is user friendly. However, their policy for missing items on your order is very disappointing. When your order is missing any item(s) they credit you on your account, instead of trying to deliver the items missing. And I was not given the option to have it credited back to my bank. I won't use Careem Now again.
It was an epic fail !!!! I placed an order and it showed 30 mins and after 15 mins I check again it showed 10 mins and again 1 minute and that 1 min it takes forever?!?!? after waiting for more than 1 hour it showing my order was cancelled and without any notification. This scenario happened twice it's a shameful. Never use this apps again. And never recommend. Even 1 star not deserve!
The app is very good, considering how many restaurants, menus, special offers, combo meals, etc it handles. I used it 4 times in the past 2 months and I'm satisfied with it. But there are other concerns that developers should address. Many people are trying online food delivery apps for the first time and they are unaware that restaurants sometimes show as temporarily closed because of too many orders or even cancel your order if no captain is available. This info should be in the app real-time.
This application is terrible, they tell you your order takes 30 minutes. Only to discover it takes 30 minutes only for the restaurant to accept the order, it takes aloooot longer than they tell you. Not to mention the numerous times the restaurant suddenly cancels the order from their part, which is very frustrating. Removing this app for sure
This app has technical problems. Address update button works with a lot of difficulty. Once order is placed, the app does not automatically allocate a rider to deliver your food. You have to call the help desk and they will allocate the rider manually. It's better to use other food delivery apps, at least until they fix this app. I am disappointed because I had high expectations from Careem. Good Luck though.
Absolutely worthless app and a huge waste of time. I would give it a zero if i could. I have been trying to place an order for a few weeks now but as soon as i select a restaurant it shows that 'there are no restaurants in this listing at the moment'...what's the point of having this app when you can't order food from it.
Very bad experience. Always late. It doesn't show the real time for delivery. First it will be 20 minutes then 30 then 40. Imagine living 5mins away from the restaurant, but getting the food from a branch that is 40 mins away. Tried it several times thinking it will improve because the customer service said that their might not just be an available captain at that time that I orderd. Apparently they don't have a captain all the time. Since I experienced it for all the times I used the app.
1) Very limited restaurants compared to all other competitiors. 2) Horrible search options; searching for a specific restaurant is nearly impossible - instead dishes pops up as a result. 3) Horrible UI/UX. Years behind competition again in both areas. 4) Delivery has been ok but far from impressive.
Such a hassle using this app! Tried twice to order. First one got canceled as they said the store closed before the driver can pick up the order (was refunded for this however). Second attempt was much worse. Tried to reorder the same food, app showed it was collected but driver went back and forth to different addresses instead for an hour and a half. When I asked him via WhatsApp where my order is, instead of a response, I got notified in the app food was already delivered!
I love it, it's very useful, however, not all the restaurants are available, no option for chat, not all people have the opportunity to call, chatting is more practical and efficient. Promo codes are not available all the time. But overall experience is very good, would definitely recommend. Please try to fix that.
Terrible experience. I downloaded it for the first time. I made 1 order and 10 minutes later after saying "order accepted" my order was cancelled. I immediately order from a different place and 10 minutes again they cancelled. They charged me both times and now I have "careen credit" which I cannot use since I cannot order. They basically steal your money. Don't event bother trying this app. (Update: After 14 days of them asking me for the orders to investigate nothing was done it's all a lie)
Something is definitely wrong with this app, I never had any successful order. And today, I have to permanently delete it cause it doesn't even want to update my address. I tried several times with no success, such a waste of time. Though Careem is a very good app, this one really had disappointed me.
I've made an order, for the first time, using your app. The order tracker says 1 minute for the past 30 mins. There's no way of contacting you guys for this issue except for the helpline which no one is answering for the past 20 mins. By far the worst experience I've had with ordering food through an app in Khi.
Used the service once. Got the wrong order. Contacted Careem through 'live' chat. They can't even communicate a simple sentence, take ages to reply (taking so long, the app actually cut ME out of the chat, basically saying 'you've not responded in a while, so we'll cut you off now!'. Couldn't care less if the app is any good, it's the staff dealing with it that are important.
Bad to worse Unfortunately the app was good long time ago, after certain update trying to pay using my card I can't enter the password on bank page and when when I try to cancel it puts the order and I don't know if I will receive it or not I have to call them to cancel it. And there are other issues with the app.
overall the app is great delivery is great but there were situations where i had to wait for 1 hour after the order was accepted and then the customer care says that the restaurant is closed down...i think the app needs to segregate it properly and enquire if the restaurants are closed down or not before they display the restaurants in the app. its a hassle for customers to wait that long and at end it gets cancelled. i hope they correct these issues properly. otherwise the app is good.
Unreliable: orders can be canceled... The message appears several time. Only one order can be followed at one. When you follow an order you cannot go to the main menu. I ended up with two lunch boxes from two different restaurants due to this issue. Delivery times are not accurate as they are changing on the go (for the 15 last minutes it tells me it will arrive I. 1 minute).
This app is completely unreliable, i would not recommend it to anyone. On more than on occasion my order randomly gets cancelled without notification, the first time i called customer service they were extremely unhelpful and their manager kept on waffling with no solution. Extremely disappointing.
Some of the things you choose in the order will often be missing when you receive your order and Careem provides no options to deal with it. So you lose your money and you don't get what you pay for, terrible way to handle orders. Also, If you get an error while ordering you can't fix it and you have to wait 20 minutes until it's canceled so you can try again.
