Being somewhere and you don’t know where to run to get a route with a specific length? Going in another country without internet connection where you want to run a previously created route, but you won’t remember every checkpoint? Are you new into running and you want to start it easy and continuously increase your running experience? Are you an advanced runner looking for challenges? Route Runner is the solution!
Create your route!The main feature of Route Runner is to create your own route or let the application create one. Just drag & drop the start, finish and up to eight checkpoints on the map to create your custom route. Tell the application that you want to run about 5km and Route Runner calculates a random route for you. Adapt the random generated route later on, if you are not happy enough with it!
Start your run!Start a run anytime and track yourself. If you have previously created a route, the app can tell you where to run (e.g. Turn right on..) ! While running Route Runner tells you your current statistics. Afterwards you can always share your workout.The other possibility to go on a workout is to start an activity run. The application tells you when to start and stop an activity. For example beginners can use this function to run for 3 minutes and then walk for one minute. Advanced runners may sprint every 1 kilometer/mile for 10 seconds. It doesn’t matter if you are a good runner or not! Activity run may help everybody to get even more out of their running experience.
Share your workout or route!If you want to share your workout or route you can simply do that with every application installed on your smartphone that supports sharing. Whilst a lot of other applications require Facebook, Twitter, .. permissions, Route Runner won’t ask you for anything like this! Your data remains your data!!

Used to work great! Now when I try to load a random route it only loads an ad that I can't get out of without force stopping the app. Then I have to start over again, and it's the same result. I've tried many many times, and there's no way to get past the ad to generate a route
Hopeless. One action = one ad. Still I persisted to the actual aim of the app and tried several times before goving up. Couldnt map more than two points without it crashing. Couldnt start again without ads. My search for a simple app to plan a route on my phone continues.
I would love this app, it seems like a great one, but I kept getting an HTTP 400 error when I tried to program routes. It that was fixed I would use it in a heartbeat.
Custom routes are not working for me, and generated routes seem to either be one way, or a uturn along the same route. If I wanted that it would be pretty easy to do in Google maps.
Cr-app. An ad will pop up after you select custom route, then proceeds to show me an error before I even start. And 8 points only? Is it a gimmick to get me to buy an upgraded version whete plot points are unlimited?
Constant errors when creating random routes. Plays ad and then fails to load a route. Could be great if the issue is resolved.
Garbage. Worst UI/UX. Can't find one decent app to calculate distance for my runs. I want to plot the friggin line, not get ads and HTTP errors.
It is really great for getting variation to my running routes. But interface could be midernised and randomly generated routes could slightly be imbroved.
adds every click and the random rout function overlaps all the lines so you don't know what direction to go as well as the waypoints don't work
It's ok, the GPS isn't very accurate but as a basic startup running app, it does a good enough job.
This app is great for taking a weaving run around your city and then mapping your distance. I was looking for something just like this.
Rubbish App, all it does is pop up ads to download other apps. Error 404 before I even try sketching my route. Utterly useless!
Not what it was. Used to be my accurate go to run and bike route planner. Now 1 ad and then fail to calculate. Used to use this for years, sadly our relationship is over.
Is this app still operational ? I love using the random walk generator but all I keep getting now is an error message?? If a developer reads this please fix it it's a great app.
the app worked fine for some times..now it doesn't work, it only shows the time not distance..

Functionality looks promising but uses Google maps with less detail than i.e. Osmand. It won't let me run those small single trails.
Seen a lot of negative reviews, particularly about placing way points. I can't understand why, the way points go to wherever the bottom of the way point is touching, fairly straightforward. Exactly what I was looking for, and I wasn't overly spammed with adverts either. If you are they are insta closeable at least and you don't have to watch anything for 30 seconds like in other apps. Thanks for the app, good work 👌🏽
