RouteShoot video and GPS app

Record your walking, running, cycling, driving, sailing, or skiing trips with a video and GPS track, as well as statistics such as speed and elevation.
RouteShoot creates location based video allowing anyone to capture where they were and what they saw. Imagine having the power to produce your own personal street view that you can share with family and friends using just your smartphone, and the flexibilty of having this all in an easy to use app means that it can be used in any situation.

RouteShoot is the latest innovation in video, GPS tracking and social networking. It is a combination of the RouteShoot website and the RouteShoot SmartPhone application, which allows people to share their favourite journeys with friends, family and those with similar interests.

There is nothing complicated for you in RouteShoot. We do all of the work putting together the video, GPS and graphs; all you need to do is record and upload. Once you have uploaded, the video and route are stored on secure servers so you do not have to keep the files on your phone.

The social aspects of RouteShoot mean that you are able to share your journeys with friends and family on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. When you upload your video you are able to set the privacy, leaving you in complete control of who can see your routes.

Whether you are a tourist on that once in a lifetime vacation, an athlete completing an incredible sporting feat or a business needing video records of its activities, RouteShoot is suitable for everyone.

NO SUPPORT its a fantastic app at doing what its designed to do. But the developer offers no support. As far as I can tell there is no way to export the video/GPS combo, without an account, and you cant get an account. The only semi-decent method I have is using a screen capture app whilst playing it back.

So close. Video/map test looks great in-app on my android phone. But app won't let me share, error: "server url not entered", then no advice to indicate what a valid server config might be. As earlier reviewers said "need an account, can't get a account"

The app is buggy, won't autopan and refresh maps. Constantly have to restart for record button to work. Logged email with support but no response. Promising but way to go yet.

Samsung Galaxy S3mini. Consistently stops after only a few minutes running. It appears not to like auto-rotate to landscape mode and also stops when shutting down

Apps seems like a really good idea. But I have not been able to use my login details on the app. Its a shame as i was looking forward to using it.

I have looking for an app like this for months. I like to record my motorcycle routes and share them with others. Now they can see the route as well as see the trip. Fantastic. Would love to see some FB integration but an excellent app.

I would be very careful with that app. When entered login, (it requres youtube password?!) it is blocked by google (by purpose) Tha application itself not so smart, at least, compared to DailyRoads.... lack of settings, map configuratiopn (only google maps), interface not handles hw settings button of the phone, etc.

Love using this app to show friends and family my adventures whilst travelling!

In order to upload videos you have to give them your YouTube login, which is your Google account, including Gmail and any saved credit cards for purchases. Are you kidding me? Why don't I just give you the keys to my front door?
