ROVER Mobile
ROVER Mobile is a companion application for your Spotted Dog ROVER system. The ROVER mobile app allows your Android Smartphone and Tablet to access your department’s alarms, responders, and mapping data in real-time.
The Spotted Dog ROVER application is a cloud hosted emergency services (Fire / Police / EMS) software system that integrates with 911 and local dispatch centers to digitally push data to responders. With integration into CAD systems, the ROVER provides responder’s who is responding, critical address information through a pre-plan based module, mapping data such as water sources for fire departments (Fire Hydrants, Lakes, and Dry Hydrants), as well as many other critical data points. The system provides critical data to responders so they can make better decisions in the field.

The overall concept of this app is great. The app does not alarm with notifications like any other kind of app should that is sending you messages... Especially of this nature. Navigation of the app is not intuitive. Night mode isn't In all of the app for some reason.
I had this happen again. Last time was when I had to get a new phone, this time I cleared a lot of data off my phone and it stopped with the tones. Now I only know a call has come through if I get the text then open the app for details of the call. I tried emailling the support team but it was block by your mail server.
Never sends notifications, even though they're turned on. Doesn't update or refresh, so I only see calls from 2 days ago. Map is unusable. Night mode is unusable.
Nice app but...there is no explanation of night mode. There is no way to completely go off duty. There is a glitch that adds the service name in front of the address when bringing up a map...not always but often enough to be annoying.
My app is having major problems as it doesn't give an alarm or notification when there is a call out. I've tried every setting I can think of, I've reset the phone, reinstalled the app and still not working.
Very good app! Easy to use and highly customizable. Only issue is that the app itself does not notify you at all about the fire call therfore the alert sound does not play. Other then that, great app!
Good app. If you have issues with not getting notifications, do the following: to fox this: To fix this, do the following 1) open the app, go to settings 2) make sure that you're phone number and PIN are set 3) press fetch, this will probably wipe out the selected tones as that is what the server thinks 4) select tones 5) press SAVE (really important), this will return you to the summary screen. THEN do the sequence again (just to make sure everything is all set)
When it works its great. For some reason of late I only get notifications only when I open the app. When I go to select responding or any option It won't register however I can see who is responding. I have tried to re fetch and it won't recognise me.
I am new to this app and have two problems that I can't figure out. 1. I don't seem to get notifications when the app is closed. 2. I can't respond to any alarms. It says no preset but I can't make a preset. Assistance would be much appreciated.
Does not work on LG with latest update. Talked to support but they did not understand what I was talking about even with screenshots. I really wish this would be fixed but this app has not been updated in months and months.
Good app and is pretty easy to use. Had a small issue after a swap to a new phone but it has been resolved extremely quickly by the helpful Spotted Dog team. Keep up the great work! Cheers
recently the app has not been alerting me of any alarms...if i open the app i can see new alarms but the app wont actually "Beep" I do however get the text messages but that does not wake me up at 3am.
Recently my app has stopped sending me notifications/alerts i can't figure out why. When i open the app i can see the messages and alerts but dont get notified when i receive them.
its my first time using this app as i just started firefighting, but it seems others have the issue of not getting alarms and notifications for calls. i dont get text messages either
recently upgraded my phone and now my notifications arent going off other than a text tone..... otherwise this app is a good tool for the fire service.
I love the newest features and the progress that this company has made over the last few years. This IS the superior response system on the market and for the best price.
Great app overall but does not actually page you with tones, only text.
I downloaded the app, and tried to connect to app but it but you can't it asks for phone number and password.you type this in and it says not connected to server. USELESS APP.I CANT USE MY DRONE AT ALL
used to work fine.. before update. now i do not recieve any alerts from the app unless i open it.

Stop asking to update my gps settings every time the app opens. I am trying to see who is responding.

Started doing volunteer firefightering. Since I don't have a pager this app is my go to to respond to calls. Like other users I normally get texts messages notifying me on calls. Which is great, a notification text is sent my way but have to manually open the rover app to get specific details. I really wish there was a way to have the app itself notify me and have the texts as a secondary alert. When I say I'm a heavy sleeper, I'm a VERY HEAVY sleeper so having dual notificaction would be ideal!
