Ads are super minimal and not distracting at all. No pop up video ads. I use the free version and it's nice. I do HIGHLY recommend setting up an account. I didn't and was just using it then switched phones and lost projects. Thankfully it was a pattern I was mostly making up and really just using for a guide. I do like that you can time projects but I don't use it because I forget. I like the row counter the most. The repeat counter is helpful too
I LOVE that I can import my patterns (and its super easy to do!) so that I'm not switching between the counter and my pattern. Its all together. Its a very easy to use app. I did get the premium for the ability to make notes directly on the pattern.
subscribed (don't ask why), now I'm cancelling. SLOW to load (10 seconds), too much bloat (community, sharing, statistics, etc. are features I don't want/use), not crochet friendly, missing features (can't hide floating buttons). Most useless is cloud storage; ALL my patterns are already on Google Drive. Uninstalled, not worth $10/year imho.
Amazing app and well worth the full purchase for all of its benefits. Being a Mom with busy little kids, I can't start a project without the help of this app reminding me where I was. It's also given me invaluable tools that help me write my own patterns that I've published. I've recommended this to anyone that tests my patterns because it's such a godsend.
I love this little app. Makes knitting so much easier. I love how you can upload your patterns and then highlight the row you are on. I also love the timer and it is interesting to see how long projects work.
This is a great app. I am a crocheter with way too many projects going at the same time. I mainly use screenshots of my online magazine patterns or free website patterns. This app allows me to add notes and keep good notes of my progress. Get it, you won't regret it!
Does exactly what it's supposed to. No ads, clear user interface, easy to use. Super thankful they added the dark mode, and that was the major issue I had with it before the update. Great app
Update 2022 - still love this app! (I did pay for it to go and free) I like the usability of this ap, the ability to upload your pattern and create linked counters with comments to remind yourself to do things. I initially was taken aback by the ads and ability to upgrade. but I tried others and wasnt satisfied. worth the 4 for the product I love.
Absolutely love this App. So easy to add patterns, highlight and use the row counter to know exactly where you left off. You definitely won't go wrong with this App.
Does what I need with the counter, plus stays open with patterns I'm working on. My only complaint is if you miss the plus you can hit an ad, but that it doesn't happen enough to detract overall.
Useful for patterns, can be a bit tricky to find what buttons do what, and what's free Vs paid, but once you pay around on it it's simple to sort out. Free is still nice to use and I've made multiple projects with it. Would be more willing to pay for premium with a one time payment rather than subscription **Edit: Removed 2 stars as had to change device and it said login and sync is a premium feature
As someone with dyscalculia, this app is very helpful. I have a difficult time remembering all the numbers that come with crocheting, this makes it easy, and I appreciate how detailed the free version is. I love the pattern feature where I can have the pattern stay on screen as I use the counter and the app keeps my iPad from going into sleep mode. Stunning job.
I'd passed this app over years ago bc I thought it was just a digital clicker and I am mad that I did so now. It's GREAT. A complete game changer. I have "covid brain" now so patterns can be difficult to follow if the rows get complex and the highlight feature is WONDERFUL. The timer, the annotations, it's all fantastic. Thank you so much 🙏
It is a comprehensive and very functional app. It has exactly what I needed (and then some) in an app of this type, yet it is also easy to use and understand. I love that you are able to import patterns for use directly in the app as well.
Although I'm still learning all the features in this app, it's already solved most of the issues I've had with knitting practices. I love that I can add notes or create my own patterns in my shorthand language. Thanks so much!
The app is great. I love that you can upload and annotate your pattern and the row counters are really helpful and giving voice activated counting as an option is super helpful.
This app is really great. It's great for keeping notes on projects and also eliminates the need to print patterns - you can import them directly into the app! I do think the premium is needed to actually make the most of this app since you came annotate or highlight without it.
Overall great functionality. I like that you can connect your projects to your Ravelry account. I feel that persisting your projects across devices should be a free feature, however the subscription is cheap enough that it's not a deal breaker. I only became aware of this because I got a new phone.
Love this app! Don't do any pattern without this row counter. Love being able to import my patterns into the app and work directly with it there.
This is the pattern-integrated row counter+ I never knew I needed! I've only just started exploring all the features, but the highlighters are perfect for keeping my spot in the pattern. No searching for where I set my pen, losing or ripping the printed pattern, or needing to print it again when I have to make multiple pieces of the same part. Well worth the minimal cost for access to all the features.
