Completely unnecessary and UNHELPFUL visual changes with the update. Horrible new interface, it's unreadable! Will not renew. I really need to be able to tell the app when I am on my menstrual cycle that I don't want to weigh in and I don't want to change based on weigh-ins where I'm holding on to up to 2 lb of water weight for a whole week. Also so many barcode products have the wrong macros listed and there's no way to report to mistake or input the correct macros.
This thing is the most incredible tool for nutrition. After working out & off for many years & getting disappointed when not seeing results in form of body changes. I've been able to stick to my dieting goals for more than a month without missing a meal & since it's fat loss diet, I am learning out. If you're on the fence with this app, get it, stick to it & I promise you it won't disappoint. Worth every penny. I'll be a life long user but I would like lamb on the protien list! Easy to use!
Beware that so called "specials" on subscriptions to this app are misleading. If you are already subscribed they won't stack your subscriptions so that the new one starts at the end of your current billing cycle. They give you two subscriptions to the same app that overlap and it's up to you to cancel your current subscription so that it doesn't renew. They don't tell you any of this on the sign up page. This has left me wondering if this is even legal? Needless to say I won't be renewing!
I've been struggling to stay on a diet for over a year now since having my 3rd child. This app has been a game changer. It helps keep me accountable and compete with myself (or the app, i cant tell 😅) either way it works. I've lost 2lbs in 2 weeks so far while not feeling deprived of food at all. Highly recommend.
The app could be better. I find it easier to log foods in with fitness pal than this app. Plus, it doesn't have more measurement functions which is a pain and throws me off. I don't know how many times I will have to restart a diet. The only good thing is that it tells you what you need in macros. I can't adjust the same macros in fitness pal (free addition)even when I calculate the calories from the macros.
Looks like it would be a great app if it played nice with my TCL 20PRO. Unfortunately when it comes to the first tile and trying to add food all I can do is press step one, two, or three but no options are presented or given. I don't believe I am missing anything since I tried multiple times, tried rebooting, just no joy.
Extemely helpful and great direction. Tells you exactly how much of each macro to shoot for each meal. Reminds you of timing also. If you need more rigid guidelines, this is a great app
I have had great progress after using the app. The AI is super good. I'm cutting out on one Star because I want to see more of Indian food products to manage diet for vegetarian and vegan users.
I am a fitness/nutrition coach and so had solid training and eating knowledge and habits prior to this app. I used this for a cut, and it made the process of organizing and modifying meal portions very simple with great results! However, I don't believe this app would work well for those without proper training and nutrition fundamentals.
I have had lots of trouble getting the app to work properly. I am beyond frustrated. The screen will partially load, which means I can't scroll to choose my foods. If I'm able to open the tab at all. Also, the app will shut down completely when I'm in the middle of inputting my food at least once a day.
This app is a tool to help you do the work, if you are looking for something that is just gonna tell you to stop eating carbs while getting a yard of beer then this is not for you. I use it to schedule my meals and just get my macros right away without worrying about the math and analysis. Really nice.
Really improved from when it started. Functionality for adjusting and copying meals is greatly improved while still retaining RP principles. I lost ten pounds with first cycle, 2 more planned. Onto maintenance for now.
The RP diet coach is honestly really good depending on your needs. If you're weight training or are an athlete who need to hit certain macronutritonal needs everyday and aren't sure how to meal plan, or how much of what exactly you need to eat, it's awesome. It helps with meal planning, eating so many meals a day, timing when to eat your meals, and adjusting nutrition for before and after working out/going to bed. It's great learning for beginners to turn into pros.
I'm updating my review because of how amazing the RP diet coach development team is. I complained about this and they legit fixed it and worked with me to do so. It was an incredibly customer centric experience and I absolutely will be looking into using their other products as a result
Awesome for self accountability! Only suggestions I have are please add dark mode/theme! And the ability for the information to be synced with Samsung health etc so all health and food informationcan be in one space.. 😁
So I've been watching alot of your YouTube vids and I really think that this app would help me with weight loss the only issue is I am over the allowed weight and I can't use the app it's a little disappointing
Best way to eat and train. App adjust diet to your progress. Fantastic experience.
The app is good so far, however I wish that when it changes macros, it told you why. I understand that it's easy enough to just strictly follow the macros and find success. It's just that the curious mind in me always wants to know the reasoning behind something. Also, there is not a lot of Canadian products in the barcode scanner. I submit a ticket to add them every time, but it gets cumbersome since only about 40% of my food products are already on the app. Anyway, overall decent app.
Easy to use. Love that it includes both cooked and uncooked measurements when creating meal plans. Only suggestion is when you create a food entry, you should have the option for cooked/raw as well.
I follow the RP crew online and live their scientific approach to training nutrition. I download the app and started using today. I found it quite rigid in structure which means it makes it hard for me to plan out my days/weeks. My times to train and eat vary and the app made it difficult for me to have flexible macros in my meals. I'd love someone to contact me and ask me a bit more and maybe explain ways I can make the app more flexible.
Not sure if this app is intended for someone who has never meal prepped before. The "save food combination" button does not save the food quantities. If you input the food combination on another meal for another date, then it automatically fills in the quantity based on the requirements for that day, not what you saved before. You can mess up your macros if you are not carefully setting it for each day of the week. A lot of the UI is very clunky. Steep learning curve.
